ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to examine the prevalence and the location as well as the registration of gingival recessions among patients between 20-29 years of age, who are treated on the Dental Hygienist Programme at the University of Kristianstad. The study was performed as a recording study, where the first page of the base record paper was examined. We examined 295 base records. The result showed that gingival recessions only were registered on 3 % (n=10). Most of the injuries, 53 % (n=157), had been registered as toothbrush trauma.

Abstract This study is an evaluation of a development project, seeking to work for entrepreneurial learning, starting from John Hattie's findings on the significant factors for visible learning. The study is based on action research a method together with a questionnaire, focused interviews and observation, by the issue of How do students perceive entrepreneurial learning? The results show that the methodology contributes to a more active learning and greater work satisfaction among students. The results also reinforce the thesis of the formative assessment and the importance of reflection for increased metacognition. The work identifies the project's educational shortcomings and strengths, and lays the foundation for further development towards full implementation of entrepreneurial learning in a secondary activity that works to prepare students with special needs for the labor market..

Abstract My purpose of doing this study is to investigate the culture of delivering education in a strange combination of subjects labelled ?Language choice Swedish/English?. The activity however exists without curriculum, syllabus or certification. I want to put study the problem of delivering an educational activity without national certification. I will use a hermeneutic approach and render properly the headmaster?s, the teachers? and the students? views on the activity in one school.

AbstractThe main aim of this study was to investigate if four humour styles, affiliative, self-enhancing, aggressive, and self-defeating humour can be related to all five dimensions of the Big Five Factor Model of personality and study if gender has any influence on those relation-ships. A survey questionnaire was distributed among 72 individuals from Kalmar County, in the South-east of Sweden. There were 42 women and 30 men. A humour test questionnaire, Humour Scale Questionnaire (HSQ), with 32 items was used and the Big Five Factor test with 40 items was used for personality test. The results showed that men have a more aggressive humour than women and that the older we get the less affiliative and self-enhancing humour we have.

Abstract / introduktionStudiens syfte var att undersöka upplevelser kring aspekter av vuxenblivandet bland adopterade; såsom studier, flytta hemifrån, skaffa partner, bilda familj och arbete. Frågeställningarna berörde även om adoptionsidentiteten, kön och ursprungsland hade någon betydelse för upplevelserna av vuxenblivandeprocessen.Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med sex kvinnor och sex män födda 1969-1992 i Sydkorea och Colombia/El Salvador. Materialet analyserades med en induktiv och deduktiv tematisk analys. Resultatanalysen synliggjorde att den stora variationen i upplevelser och erfarenheter i stor utsträckning relaterade till familjrelationer och etnisk självidentitet och extern etnicitetsidentifiering. Vuxenblivandet som en positiv respektive problematisk erfarenhet kunde även relateras till individuellt förhållningssätt..

Abstract The goal of the study was to conduct an in-depth investigation of how conflicts are resolved in schools, from a pupil- and a teacher perspective. Our intention was to view and compare pupils and teachers different opinions in the school environment. A major focus was put on different ways teacher handle conflicts and how they try to prevent them. The material was acquired by interviews with both teachers and pupils. The study is based on Jean Piagets and Lev Vygotskijs visions about the cognitive developmental stage for children. The result of the study shows the teachers need to be attentive and also that the pupils generally do not notice when the teacher works to prevent conflicts.

 Abstract This paper is to examine a specific integration projects by the name of SFINX, the participants' perspective. We chose to highlight three themes that concern the analysis what the participants thought about the content / efficacy, effectiveness and efficiency analysis, which means what the participants thought could be improved in the project. What emerged in our study is that research shows that Swedish education with professional orientation and integrated practice is a key factor for migrants to get into the Swedish labor market. Abstract Syftet med vår undersökning på två gymnasieskolor är att få en uppfattning om vilket stöd gymnasieelever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter, men utan diagnos, får i samband med svenskundervisningen. Metoden är kvalitativa intervjuer med en svensklärare, två elever och en specialpedagog på vardera skolan. Resultatet visar att de lärare vi intervjuar saknar utbildning för att kunna hjälpa dessa elever i sin undervisning. Kommunikationen mellan lärare, elev och specialpedagog varierar till stor del på de två skolorna. En viktig slutsats är att lärare med lång erfarenhet inom den pedagogiska verksamheten har en större kompetens att hjälpa elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter i sin undervisning.

AbstractSyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur lärare arbetar för att eleverna ska uppnå målen i kursplanerna för bild och musik. Anledningen till valet av problemområde beror på vårt stora intresse för bild- och musikundervisning. Intervjuer har gjorts med tre lärare som undervisar i bild och tre lärare som undervisar i musik. Eleverna som de undervisar går i skolår F-6. Intervjuerna visar att respondenterna anser att det kan vara svårt att få eleverna att uppnå målen.
