AbstractIn this study you are going to meet the Nordic Good Thor. I will present a short historic presentation of the Nordic mythology, about the Ragnarok and also I will give a short presentation on several other Gods. I have done three film analyses on movies about Thor. The movies are Thor, The Avengers and Thor- the Dark World. I have compared these three movies about Thor with the Thor that is presented in the literature. I have seen closely on the appearance of Thor, his character and his family situations.

I have chosen an action research approach for this essay. I want to incorporate a method of conflict management in the work of the personnel at a school and also discuss their thoughts and experience in conflict management. I wanted to incorporate modern knowledge about constructive conflict management for everyday use and I stress that if we can evolve these skills among the personnel in schools then we have a better chance of helping children with deviant behavior which often end up in conflict because of it. This will also help all the other children and personnel to manage conflict situations in a better way. I want to introduce a new way of thinking about conflict management which in many ways is different from how it is today. Briefly the method which I advocate revolves around paying attention to every ones basic needs and says that everyone can win and no one has to loose. he main purpose of this essay has been to find out if focus group conversations is a viable method for improving conflict management in the school system. Several of the participants has in their evaluations written that it was a rewarding and interesting way to work.

The purpose of this study was to examine psychosomaticsymptomsissuesamongst children and adolescents between the ages of 0-18 years and to clarify the underlying factors.Method: Literature study based on 10 scientific articles.Results: Psychosomatic issues amongst children and adolescents, due to stress, were common in Europe and Scandinavia. The symptoms varied between gender and age. The underlying factors were mainly school environmental issues, home conditions, socio-economic situations and disputes with teachers and peers. The symptoms varied from headache, gastro intestinal problems and insomnia to eating disorders, depression and pounding heart.               Conclusion: The future of children?s psychosomatic health depends on interventions on all levels of society since they are affected by everything from school environment and home conditions to unemployment and recession..

The aim of this essey is to examine how teachers´ work with individual development plans (IDP) can contribute to an intercultural leadership and inclusion. The interwied teacherss ay that IDP forces them to reflect critically on their thinking on aspects as learning methods, gender and ethnicity. It makes them listen to -and think - in new and more including ways to adapt to each pupils individual possibilities to achieve the curriculum standards within the common area. That requires lots of resources like extra teachers and new material.An active reflection can make ethnocentrism develop into intercultural competence. That is a listening, critical and diversified thinking prepared to deconstruct and create new ways of thinking in relation to different pupils and situations.

Höftfrakturer är ett stort hälsoproblem i Sverige. Många patienter har svårigheter att återfå sin tidigare funktionsnivå efter en höftfraktur. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad som påverkar höftfrakturpatienters möjligheter att återfå tidigare funktionsnivå. Genom systematisk sökning av artiklar i tre databaser valdes 10 artiklar ut för denna litteraturstudie och granskades med hjälp av ett kvalitetsgranskningsprotokoll. Resultatet visade att smärta, kognitiv funktion, depression, ålder, balans och rädsla för att ramla, annan sjukdom, rörelseförmåga innan frakturen är faktorer som påverkar patienternas återhämtning.

Kursen Datorkunskap ingår i 15 av de 17 nationella program som finns inom gymnasieskolan idag. I styrdokumenten finns tydliga riktlinjer på att flera delar i kursen ska anpassas till vald studieinriktning . Varje program har sitt eget programmål där inriktningar och förslag på områden för samverkan och infärgning lyfts fram. Styrdokumenten betonar vikten av samverkan mellan lärare och infärgning av ämnen för att programmen ska uppfylla sina mål. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utvärdera hur anpassningen av kursen Datorkunskap sker i olika studieinriktningar utifrån styrdokumenten.

There is a lot written about being hearing impaired. There are guidelines on how to adjust the indoor environment for the hearing impaired. There is even more written about gardening and garden design from different aspects. However, I found out that there is nothing written about garden design or adjusting the outdoor environment for the hearing impaired. At the background of myself being hearing impaired and garden designer I realised that I actually had adjusted my own garden out of the fact that I am hearing impaired.

För att en kvalitativ och driftsäker kraftomvandling från vind till elkraft skall erhållas ställs krav på en mängd olika faktorer. Klimatologiska och tekniska faktorer kräver korrekt dimensionering och anpassning av omvandlingstekniken för att största möjliga energimängd skall kunna omvandlas på ett driftsäkert och energieffektivt vis som vindkraftsägare, nätägare kräver. Vinden är som bekant en oberäknelig kraftkälla. Variationerna i styrka och tid kan innebära en hel del driftoptimeringsproblematik med efterverkningar för vindkraftsverket, nätet och belastningen. Konsekvenserna kan bero på vilken typ av teknik som är installerad i de olika delarna av energisystemet och i områdets elnät.

On some occasions it may be inappropriate with a cameraman behind the camera. In somecases there is no cameraman available or it is a smaller event, like a family celebration, to befilmed. It can also be difficult for a cameraman to shoot from certain angles. One solution forthis kind of situations can be to remotely control the camera movements. There are thosekinds of solutions on the market today but they either address professional filmmakers or thefunctionality is limited, for example by the absence of wireless remote control.This project aims to develop a solution to the problem with absence of wireless remote controland also a solution with more flexibility and less complexity than today?s solutions.

I detta arbete undersöker jag hur väl läromedel i religionskunskap för gymnasiets A-kurs är anpassade till kursplanens syften och mål. Genom en kvantitativ undersökning redogör jag för hur mycket utrymme olika böcker ger åt ämnets olika delar. I en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks närmare hur kristendomskapitlen är uppbyggda i olika läromedel och vilka av religionskunskapsämnets dimensioner som får mest utrymme samt på vilket sätt dessa dimensioner presenteras. Läromedlens anpassning till kursplanen diskuteras också med religionslärare i en gruppintervju. Undersökningen visar att dagens läromedel förvisso innehåller alla de delar och dimensioner som kursplanen efterfrågar.

This paper is a study how students at a high school in Falun, Sweden, estimates theirperformance in an upcoming math test which is then compared with the actual grade thestudent performed. The students who participated also answered questions related to ?risksituations? to examine whether there is a correlation between how students estimate theirperformance in the context and their risk behavior, and if the students act like economicmodels assume. In agreement with previous studies, the boys in the survey tended to beoverconfident in their performance. The girls in the study were neither over- norunderconfident in her performance and no significant difference in the estimation of one'sperformance between the sexes could be proven.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva vilka faktorer som påverkar upplevelsen av livskvalitet hos patienter i dialys samt om det finns några skillnader i hur män och kvinnor i dialys upplever de faktorer som påverkar livskvaliteten. Metoden var en litteraturstudie, baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visade på följande sex teman: trötthet, anpassning till ett liv med dialys, upplevelser och känslor i samband med lidande, förlust av frihet, begränsningar samt förändrade relationer. Det gick inte att urskilja några skillnader i mäns och kvinnors upplevelse av de faktorer som påverkar livskvaliteten. Resultatet kan användas till att möta dessa patienter med en ökad förståelse och kunskap om deras situation..

The aim of this study is to examine the experienced life situations of siblings growing up with a brother or a sister diagnosed with autism. The study is qualitative and therefore suitable to the purpose of studying the informants´ own experiences. Three women and one man, aged between 18-24 years, were interviewed through chatt programs on the Internet. The constituted perspective is phenomenological and the analysis were made by identifying meaning units in the text from the interviews. The theory used to interpret the result is systems theory and more specifically the structual family therapy by Salvador Minuchin.
