The aim of this study has been to highlight the Situation for young men within the context of honour. The aim has also been to highlight the restrictions of young men within the context of honour, and how they rebel against those demands. The study was based on a qualitative research method and carried out in Sweden. The results have been analyzed using the hermeneutic perspective. The results showed that the Situation for young men within the context of honour is often manifested by controlling their sisters and the expectation that the young men support their families in the future by marring a woman who has been approved by the collective.

The aim of the study is to get a better understanding of leader's reactions in a crisis Situation, and to examine whether locus of control and coping strategies can be related to leaders need for social support. The role of a leader in a crisis Situation is complex and includes several aspects which must be illustrated to understand the leader's Situation. Four leaders have participated in the study. The methods that have been used are questionnaires for measuring locus of control and coping and semi-structured interviews. The results show that search for social support cannot be seen as an outcome of a specific locus of control or coping strategy.

Abstract:Job satisfaction has great significance for nurses. The job is very demanding and requires a great deal of responsibility. Low job satisfaction and organisation changes affect their work negatively. The aim of the study was to investigate the nurses? job satisfaction and job Situation.

AbstractSweden applies two different private international statutes to establish which country´s domestic law that is applicable in a certain Situation regarding succession and will with connection to two or more states. The first private international law is the one used in relations between Sweden and the other Nordic states. The other private international law is the one used between Sweden and all other states than the Nordic ones. A proposal for a Regulation that regulate jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and authentic instruments in matters of succession and the creation of a European Certificate of Succession has been prepared by the Commission and was published in October 2009. This regulation will, if it enters into force, modify the Situation in Sweden for applicable law on a Situation regarding succession and will.

The purpose of our research was to explore the social Situation of unaccompanied children. We also aimed to reveal the relation between their social Situation and their identity development. The overall purpose were to describe their social Situation, the value of significant others, how different languages influence their identity development and finally how their origin affects their future dreams.In order to achieve the best result in our research a qualitative method was used. This was based on qualitative interviews and was disposed around a very loose set of questions in order to let the interviewees lead the way. The analysis of the result was conducted on the basis of a set of theories and concepts in order to understand the identity development.

Much of the everyday work of teachers in pre-schools, schools and youth centers is based on experience. This study is a qualitative interview study intended to make visible the experiences of pre-school teachers in Situations when children are considered to be in need of special support. I have looked at pre-school teachers? descriptions of the kinds of Situations in which a child is estimated to be in need of special support, what teachers look for in a child to identify it as a child in need of special support in a specific Situation, and how the teachers define special support. Both this study and previous research show that children?s estimated need of support depends on the Situation and context the child is in. The pre-school teachers in this study identify common Situations where children are estimated to be in need of special support, namely: in interaction with others, in structured Situations, during changes of activities and during free play.

Att arbeta inom ambulanssjukvård innebär att dagligen utsättas för påfrestandeSituationer. Vissa utav Situationerna kan beröra på ett särskilt sätt och inverka negativtpå hälsa och välbefinnande. Tidigare forskning har visat att ambulanspersonal kanuppvisa symtom som posttraumatisk stress och överdriven känslosamhet efter enpåfrestande Situation. Ökad kunskap om hur ambulanspersonal upplever och hanterarpåfrestande Situationer i efterhand kan främja upptäckt av tillvägagångssätt förbearbetning av Situationerna. Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur ambulanspersonalupplever och hanterar påfrestande Situationer i efterhand.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how social services workers describe, the risk of being exposed to threats and violence in their profession. Six social services workers were interviewed, four from the Welfare Office in a major city and two from the Child and Family Services in a minor city. Results showed that the majority of social services workers consider themselves exposed in their profession, meaning that they feel there's a risk of a violent or threatening Situation occurring in their work Situation. All interviewees had experiences from some sort of threat or violence in a work related context and they attested that non-personal assaults, such as threats made through telephone, email and answering machines are more common than verbal assaults made in personal meetings. Being prepared and listening to ones intuition is a way of dealing with exposure when meeting with a client.

In this essay I reflect on a Situation where I as a preschool teacher amworried about a child whose behavior I cannot understand nor recognize. The Situation is characterized by the fact that I cannot explain my worries to my colleagues. I also discuss why different pedagogues understand the same Situation differently, the importance of children´s play and how it creates opportunities to social interactionThrough my reflections I can understand my concern and show that it is justified.  I also discuss the act of reflection as a method. Reflecting is a way to increase or knowledge. But I also claim that reflection might be used collectively by reflecting together we might increase our shared understanding and also find out how to proceed with our common work.The conclusion is that reflection is an important tool for us pedagogues when we want to increase our understanding and our knowledge.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine whether addicted in society maintain their personal dignity. Many studies about this issue have beenfocused on how hard it is to be an addicted, but few have focused on how an addicted handle this Situation. Our preconception before this study was that addicts are a stigmatized group not treated with dignity. With this as starting point, our aim has been to let the addicted with their own words describe how they handle their Situation and witch strategies they use to uphold their dignity.Method: A qualitative approach is used; we have condicted five semi structured in- depth interviews. The information we have obtained through interviews, we have in the analysis weighed against the theories we believe are relevant to our preconception.We have then categorized the collected information after those themes we found central in the interviews and which we have found can be related to the main questions of this study.Result: The results show many strategies about how people with drug- and alcohol abuse handle their Situation.

Detta arbete handlar om varför utbytesstudenter som kommer till Luleå tekniska universitet har valt att studera just där samt hur de upplever sin Situation vad gäller studieSituation, socialt liv, traditioner, fritid och personlig utveckling. Föreligger det skillnader med avseende på kön, civilstånd, nationalitet samt hur lång tid de vistats i Luleå? En enkät på engelska skickades ut via e-post samt utdelades i ett klassrum. Resultaten visade att det var främst motiv som kan förknippas med inre motivation som var av betydelse för att studera i Sverige och Luleå. Signifikanta skillnader mellan kvinnliga och manliga studenter påträffades.

AbstractThis text deals with one of the preschool everyday routine chores, and the phenomenon I have chosen to investigate is the hallway Situation. The purpose of the study was to see if the hallway Situation offers good communicative interactions between children and teachers, and investigate if the teachers use special strategies to make the hallway Situation work. The method of this study was survey, qualitative interviews and observations. The three methods have deliberately been selected to best suite and reply to the different issues.Today?s groups of children in preschool are very big, and some of the preschools are not adapted to these large groups of children that we have today.

This study aim to investigate the conditions framing the professional development Situation for physical education teachers (PE) in a small municipality in the south of Sweden. The Swedish National Agency for Education declare that "focus must be directed towards strengthening the teachers' profession", and that "schools need well-trained teachers and good teaching to help students achieve good results". The study focuses both the schools? contribution and the way in which the teachers take own initiative and are motivated to develop their professional skills. The investigation is all based on teachers' perspectives.
