Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka vad brukare anser om delaktighet i planering och beslut kring hjälpinsatser. Studien bygger på fem kvalitativa intervjuer. Empowerment-teori tillämpades på resultaten och har således varit studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt. Resultaten visade att brukarena i studien i stort inte upplevt sig som delaktiga i planering eller beslut. De har heller inte känt fullt förtroende för socialarbetaren de träffade när de sökte hjälp för sitt missbruk.

This thesis studies how readers of the electronic book (the e-book) use and perceive the electronic medium as a carrier of fiction. In this study it is assumed that fiction is mostly read in printed format. Therefore it is interesting to ask why some readers choose to read on screen. As there are all too few studies conducted on how readers perceive and use the e-book as a medium, this study aims to enrich an undeveloped research area. The study is based upon a qualitative questionnaire.

As technology have continued to develop over the latest decades and become more advanced the pressure on the general citizens understanding of technology becomes a essential part to live in our society today. The transition have affected our society in great ways and have made a great impact on different groups, one of them being the elderly population in our society. The purpose of this study is to examine how the fast technological development in the latest decades have affected the elderly in our society. This from their perspective by gathering empirical data through semi-structured interviews with elderly people involved in the Agnes-project, a research project focused on improving the general quality of life for older people and increase their knowledge about technology. The study has shown that after the older peoples time involved in the Agnes-project their quality of life had improved in different areas. Areas such as increased cognitive activity, increased interest in new technology and an improvement in their communication with friends and family.

Moisture damage in buildings is a serious issue that leads to problematic consequences and high economic costs. Despite the knowledge and awareness existing about moisture problems, extensive damager still occurs today. Studies of moisture in the exterior wall constructions shows that the issue if often caused by rain and water intrusion. These kinds of problem result in major costs usually because the companies have to replace the material and structural components and also in some cases tear down large parts of the buildings.The work includes moisture theory and descriptions of four different exterior wall constructions, wood stud wall with plastered facade, exterior wall with wood facade, exterior wall with concrete, and exterior wall with brick facade. Our thesis work describes how the constructions are affected and moisture damage due to water intrusion.

The focus of this essay is on the mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion in different feminism rooms. Seven activists taking part in several forms of feminism projects, organisations, networks and demonstrations are interviewed and the essay analyzes whether the participants themselves feel included or excluded in feminism rooms. If they have motives to include or exclude different groups of people are something that is also looked into. Intersectionality and phenomenology are used as an analytical and methodological approach throughout this essay. The results have shown that the participants feel included and excluded due to different intersections of power.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to illuminate and analyze the working conditions of visual artists in the Swedish region of Värmland. As a profession which is known to have many problems concerning income and the fact that most artist are unable to get by on their art sales alone it becomes interesting to look closer on cultural policy?s affecting the artists, where the problems lie and what possible help they can get.I have used previous research and different sources to map out the working conditions in Sweden and Värmland alike and also interviewed five different visual artists in Värmland to get a general view of the working conditions in the country as a whole and their perception of the situation and special circumstances in Värmland. I have also used discourse analysis to compare the source material with the answers of my respondents to see which discourses that exists, that have hegemony, and to see how this subject is talked about.The results of this study showed how political decisions may force artists to become self-employed entrepreneurs even though many artists do not self-identify as such or even have any interest in profitable gain. The study also shows among other things that most artists have another occupation on the side but that there are some aids to help the artists with income.

Föreliggande arbete ingår i ett större projekt av fyra enskilda arbeten om Sorgenfri industriområde. De fyra delarna är: -Brukare: Boende -Brukare: Småföretag -Fastighetsföretag -Kontinentalbanan Detta arbete lyfter fram de boendes vardagskunskap, med ansats ur ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv. De inslag som de boende prioriterar om de får vara med och planera ett nytt bostadsområde bl.a. av: -Att det finns grönstruktur och naturliga mötesplatser -Att bostadsområdet är tryggt ur både sociala och fysiska aspekter -Att det finns närservice i olika former - Att bostadsområdet anpassas så att kategoriboende ej uppstår -Att bostadsområdet har en genomströmning av människor, så att det blir en levande stadsdel Den största vikten ligger på de boende. My aim with the experience-based essay is that I want to explore the implications of mathematics on children's development. I also want to examine my approach in relation to the various mathematical tasks. Why do we think that mathematics is important for pre-school children? What does the research say about how the teacher is thinking about mathematics? Can the teacher combine playing and learning and create meaningful moments and activities related to mathematics? I also want to explore our policies and the objectives that the teacher should relate to. What is required of me as a teacher in order to meet those goals?My essay is about mine and my boss?s view of the mathematical tasks that I usually perform in the preschool.

Tidigare studier visar att förekomsten av ätstörningar är högre inom idrotten än i samhället i stort och är enligt Riksidrottsförbundet en viktig fråga för idrottsrörelsens arbete. Träningsanläggningar är en arena där många individer befinner sig dagligen. Studier kring träningsanläggningars förebyggande arbete mot ätstörningar saknas idag. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i så fall hur instruktörer på träningsanläggningar arbetar med insatser kring ätstörningar bland sina medlemmar. Studien genomfördes med enkät som datainsamlingsmetod där 26 instruktörer från tre olika träningsanläggningar i Sverige medverkade.

Särskola eller integrering i grundskola är en fråga som föräldrar till särskoleelever kan ställas inför. När en elev blir antagen till särskolan och erbjuds en skolgång där så har föräldrarna rätt att neka det, till förmån för en skolgång som integrerad elev i grundskolan. Genom tidigare studier har det visat sig att skola och vårdnadshavare kan ha olika uppfattning om vilken skolform som lämpar sig bäst för en särskoleelev. För pedagoger inom grundskolan kan det därför vara betydelsefullt att få en förståelse för särskoleelever, deras vårdnadshavare och valet av skolform med föräldrainflytandet och vilka konsekvenser det kan innebära, eftersom mötet med särskoleelever och deras vårdnadshavare när som helst kan bli en del i en pedagogs vardag. Syftet med undersökningen är därför att få ta del av några pedagogers tankar, attityder och erfarenheter av särskoleelever, deras vårdnadshavare och valet av skolform med föräldrainflytande, för att få en förståelse utifrån dessa pedagogers perspektiv.
