Bakgrund: Litteratur som tidigare behandlat området visar att rollen som närstående har förändrats under 1900-talet. Rollen som närstående till någon som vårdas i livets slutskede på en vårdinrättning innebär en mycket påfrestande situation. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en patient som befinner sig i livets slutskede. Metod: Litteraturstudien bygger på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som har analyserats med innehållsanalys. Resultat: Det framkom att närstående ofta upplever att de befinner sig i en utsatt situation.

The purpose of this essay was to examine female immigrants of South East Asia who have lived together with a drug addict and how they were affected and let themselves be influenced by that, and to study their reactions to such situations.The main questions were:· How do the women describe their personal relationship matters with their husbands with focus on abuse / co-dependency?· How do they show their co-dependency in actions?· How do the women handle their co-dependency?I chose a qualitative method because my purpose was to get a comprehension and hopefully find a pattern in the life situation in this specific target group. Regarding the collection of dataI used both primary data in the frame of interviews with persons connected to the problem, and secondary data in the form of earlier studies in that field.As the main result I found that these women lived in a severe stress. They were affected both psychically and physically by the abuse of their partners. They developed different strategies of survival to stand the reality and to save the family.

Our common future involves many important challenges. People and nature need to improve the relationship in order to reach an ecologically sustainable development. In a society where consumption of products steadily increases, the consumer awareness about social and environmental issues connected to the products becomes an importent factor. More and more companies choose to work more actively with these issues and more and more products get labelled by some of the eco labelling organisations. From the cradle to the gate means that a study has been done on a part of a products life cycle.

The intention of this study was to create an understanding of how multi-professional interaction could convert into inter-professional collaboration, which takes advantage of and acknowledges the individual professional identity. The intention was to understand the meaning of collaboration through the study of meetings between professionals who use different symbol systems. In particular, we wanted to study inter-professional interaction from a symbolic interactional perspective with a focus on Self, Identity, Symbols, Meaning and Professional community. The employed method was semi-structured interviews with ten questions. A convenience sample was used to identify working groups composed of different professions, such as teachers, social workers and therapy assistants.

The first information recruiters have access to, when recruiting a new co-worker is the applicant´s CV. It may even happen that the applicants are sending a photo with the CV, which can lead to the possibility that the appearance of the applicant will affect the assessment. Previous research shows that individuals who are regarded as beautiful get a better assessment than those who are considered to be ugly or mediocre looking, but if this can be prevented through awareness, the problem can easily be counteracted. The purpose of this thesis is to, through an experimental study, investigate whether recruiters can avoid being affected by the applicant?s appearance in the assessment of their CV if they receive information about the stereotypical thinking that is tied to a person's appearance.

IT utgör en stor del av majoriteten av folks vardagliga liv. Smartphones och surfplattor har om möjligt ytterligare ökat vår användning av tekniska enheter och prylar på en daglig basis. Arbetet tas med hem i en större grad med hjälp av laptops, VPN och molnmöjligheter. Mail kan tas emot i princip var och närsomhelst på dygnet. Men hur bra är säkerheten? På arbetsplatsen hanteras mycket av IT-säkerheten och ansvaret för den ofta av erfarna och dedikerade anställda, men hur ser det ut hemma där användaren själv har ansvaret för sin IT-säkerhet?I denna studie analyseras och identifieras risker och problem vid hantering av olika aktiviteter relaterade till IT-säkerhet i hemmet.

With examples from a single classroom situation, several educational moments show what goes on between the teacher and the student. The teacher?s responsibility in the learning process is, with a gesture frozen in the air of the moment, to lead and follow the student in her tentative efforts at seeking knowledge. Initially, it is an attempt to shed light upon the "not yet seen" with a certainty that the student herself possesses the capacity and the aptitude to reach greater insight and clarity in her understanding. The Validation/Feil Method presented in this instructional situation illustrates how best to communicate with elderly people suffering from Alzheimer?s dementia.

Det plötsliga och oväntade dödsfallet är en svår och kaotisk situation för närstående men också en krävande situation för ambulanspersonal som skall tillgodose de närståendes behov. Det är viktigt att mötet mellan ambulanspersonal och närstående blir så optimalt som möjligt. Varje möte är unikt och kräver respekt, värme och engagemang från ambulanspersonalen. I prehospital sjukvård ges det sällan möjlighet till feedback från närstående efter en arbetsinsats, vilket försvårar chanserna till att utveckla och förbättra vårt omhändertagande. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur närstående har upplevt situationen och mötet med ambulanspersonal när det skett ett plötsligt dödsfall i hemmet.

The agricultural sector is currently highly dependent on fossil fuels, with diesel beingmost prominent. There are however both historical and modern alternatives thathave not been subject to enough evaluation to disregard them as suitable alternative.This report aims to theoretically investigate the feasibility of converting aconventional diesel driven tractor to run on electricity, delivered via a cableconnected to either the main power grid or on-site electric production, such asphotovoltaic. Delivering electricity to the machine via a cable is a method withhistorical roots in the early 20th century and in the present day mining industry.The economic and technological potential of the technique are evaluated, along withthe examination of several different motor powers, voltages, losses and constructionideas. The report finds the technique to be both possible as well as long termeconomically and environmentally beneficial. To realise this method however, somedeviations from the present methods of agricultural farming must be made,considering the more advanced driving patterns, the limited mobility and therequirement for extra driver awareness.

En lagändring förmodas antas och börja gälla den första juli i år som ger papperslösa rätt till skola. Många av oss lärarstudenter kommer att möta papperslösa elever och det finns oerhört lite forskning på hur papperslösa elever kan inkluderas i skolan. Men det finns papperslösa elever som sitter på värdefulla kunskaper om hur papperslösas skolgång ser ut. Därför undersöks i detta examensarbete papperslösa formella och substantiella tillgång till gymnasieskolan. En diskussion förs kring vilket sätt elevernas situation som papperslösa påverkar deras tillgång till skola.

"What's feminine about the Women's library?" This library, Kvinnobiblioteket, is abranchoffice at Björkskatan in the city of Luleå, and the introducing question is thestartingpoint of this essay. To find some possible answers is its object.One way of describing what's feminine about Kvinnobiblioteket is through presenting itsobjective, ambitions and methods of working. That is done mostly in a chapter headlined"Kvinnobiblioteket", and shows how the women's perspective concerns for exarnplepurchase of books and magazines, displaying of books, the opening hours, design etc.Although the focus in the survey is not in the former kind of description, but in the interviewsbeing made during a two week long period of time with ten women at Kvinnobiblioteket(both library user and personnel) at spring 1995. The results of the interviewsthen have been compared with theories from psychological-, feminist-, literature- andlibrary and information sciences, as we11 as to former surveys and essays.The material together leads to some keywords that seem to be important when trying tofind out what's female about the women's library.

As technology have continued to develop over the latest decades and become more advanced the pressure on the general citizens understanding of technology becomes a essential part to live in our society today. The transition have affected our society in great ways and have made a great impact on different groups, one of them being the elderly population in our society. The purpose of this study is to examine how the fast technological development in the latest decades have affected the elderly in our society. This from their perspective by gathering empirical data through semi-structured interviews with elderly people involved in the Agnes-project, a research project focused on improving the general quality of life for older people and increase their knowledge about technology. The study has shown that after the older peoples time involved in the Agnes-project their quality of life had improved in different areas. Areas such as increased cognitive activity, increased interest in new technology and an improvement in their communication with friends and family.

The situation that one can discern on the Swedish real estate market is that while there are several offices vacant, the need for apartments is high ? the vacancy rate for apartments is non-existent. According to the rebuilding of Skatteskrapan one will realise that the project requires a lot of money, even though it promotes the residential situation. The real estate owner experiences a risk in rebuilding real estates ? whether it will generate good yield or not.

Offentliga trådlösa nätverk finns idag mer tillgängliga än någonsin. Samtidigt haralla dessa nätverk något gemensamt ? de går alla att avlyssna och risken finns attanvändarens information kan komma i fel händer. Uppsatsen behandlarallmänhetens säkerhetsmedvetenhet med avseende på denna typ av nätverk genomtvå undersökningar. Den första undersökningen sker via ett tekniskt experiment därdet på flera geografiska platser har erbjudits ett trådlöst nätverk till allmänheten.

There are various investments to suit different investors, what affects the investor is the risk he/she takes with the investment and also the awareness  the investor has. According to different theories a higher risk gives even a higher yield to compensate for the extra risk the investor takes.In this paper, we discuss and compare two different forms of savings, Swedish closed-end funds and Swedish mutual funds to examine what alternative that generates highest returns in relation to the risk.To help, we use different evaluation measures that adjusts the different investments risk so that you can compare how well the investments have performed regardless of the risk they have. This will give us an answer about what investment form that have performed the best between 2002.01.01-20010.12.31. Five Sweden mutual funds and five closed-end funds have been selected to participate in the survey.To evaluate this, it is primarily quantitative data, analyzed in the evaluation measures. The results obtained in the survey show that Swedish closed-end funds have performed far better during the selected time period.
