Bakgrund: I Sverige har akutmottagningar i landet ungefär 2,5 miljoner patientbesök per/år. Akutmottagningar brukar vara stressfyllda miljöer med hög patientomsättning, möten är rutinmässiga och utrymmet för individuellt anpassad vård är begränsat. Patienterna blir vid ankomst bedömda och prioriterade utifrån triage, för att försäkra att patienten med de mest brådskande behoven blir omhändertagen först. Efter triagen får de flesta patienterna vänta, ibland i flera timmar.Syfte: Att belysa patientperspektivet av att vara patient på akutmottagningar inom den svenska hälso- och sjukvården.Metod: Litteraturstudie, sökningar av artiklar genomfördes i databaserna Cinahl och Pubmed, vilket resulterande i 9 kvalitativa och 2 kvantitativa artiklar. Analysen inspirerades av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: 5 teman identifierades: Att vara patient under triagen, att vara patient under väntetider.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att skapa förståelse för varför singlar åker på singelresa. För att få en djupare förståelse för hur singlarna tänker om singelresor har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod. Vi har intervjuat sju singlar och en före detta singel mellan 40-60 år för att ta reda på deras innersta tankar om singelresor. Utöver detta har vi även intervjuat ett reseföretag för att få deras perspektiv på singeln. Den teoretiska referensramen grundar sig dels på tidigare forskning om singelsegmentet, dels på teorier om konsumentbeteende.

The division of Electricity at Uppsala University runs a project called Lysekil project, they have designed a buoy that uses the waves to create electric power from a generator attached to the bottom of the sea.Uppsala University is closely connected with the company Seabased and the university makes use of their facilities in Lysekil. When they designed the buoy issues occurred, the geometric design was flawed, brackets with a short shelf life and it is generally uneconomic.A study visit was done in Lysekil on Seabased facility. With this visit the project started, which is to improve the design of the buoy and the attachment of wires leading to the generator. In this project we have chosen to use a beam system with three beams that are attached to the buoy. Then a wire attached to a plate that Sits between the beams will be leading to the generator. Two proposals for construction are created, what distinguishes them are the brackets between the beams and the buoy.From these constructions, the design that is considered most optimal for our project is chosen.All parts of the buoy have been modeled and the drawings are designed in ProEngineer software.The two constructions are compared with each other, but the whole focus is on the second and final structure. The report begins with an introduction describing Lysekil project, and a task description of our project.The project aims to produce an optimal buoy that will be easy to design, materials restrictive with good durability and an economical solution.Wave power true function has been studied, mechanical and finite element analysis of beams, buoy and plate design.This has been presented in this report, where in the various chapters can read more about the processes. Jag har som examensarbete på master-nivå formgivit en sittmöbel med utgångspunkt från min uppväxt i Dalarna. Målet har varit att göra en filosofisk tolkning av mina minnen samt en hyllning till regionen, i synnerhet Borlänge där jag växt upp.Jag har under projektets gång gjort en resa både på ett mentalt och rent fysiskt plan tillbaka till den plats jag växt upp för att utforska mina minnen och därigenom skapa en plattform för mitt designarbete.För att nå mitt resultat har jag använt mig av designmetoder som ITK, intervjuer, skisser, studiebesök, materialtester, mockups samt modelleringsverktyget Rhino.Resultatet är en stol inspirerad av saker som bland annat Ornäs stugan och musikkulturen i Borlänge. Stolen består av en metallkonstruktion, trädetaljer vid fötterna samt armstöden och en Sits i läder.For my thesis work on postgraduate level, I have designed a chair based on my upbringing in Dalarna. The goal has been to make a philosophical interpretation of my memories and a tribute to the region, particularly Borlänge where I grew up.During the project I have made a trip both on a mental and physical level back to the place where I grew up to discover my memories and thereby creating a platform for my design work.In order to achieve my result, I have used design methods such as ITK, interviews, sketches, field trips, materials testing, mockups and the modeling tool Rhino.The result is a chair inspired by things like Ornässtugan and the music culture in Borlänge. Syfte: Syftet för denna studie var att se om det var någon skillnad i den överrefraktion man får fram hos patienten när överrefraktionen genomförs i provbåge, foropter och autorefraktor. Undersökningen gick även ut på att se om det blev någon skillnad om överrefraktionen genomfördes monokulärt med ocklusion eller binokulärt med dimlins.Metod: I studien deltog 30 personer i åldrarna 19 till 42 år. Det var sammanlagt 13 lågmyoper, 3 högmyoper, 5 hyperoper och 9 emmetroper som deltog i undersökningarna. Av dessa var 8 personer inte linsbärare och blev tillpassade med linser utifrån k-värden och HVID för att få en så bra Sits som möjligt på linserna. De andra deltagarna blev tillsagda att komma till undersökningen med linser ordinerade till dem av en leg.

In this essay I analyze the performative aspects relating to Marina Abramovi?'s The Artist Is Present, which took place in spring 2010 at MoMA in New York, from the context of the artist and work, institution and documentation. In this performance work, for the duration of the exhibition, Abramovi? Sits completely still opposite another chair where anyone from the audience may sit. The art arises through this participation.

The aim of this study was to determine the basic movements of the riders? pelvis and upper body when riding in trot seated. The study was preformed at a treadmill with seven high level dressage horses and their riders. The movements of the horse and rider were captured with a motion analysis system (ProReflex®) and also recorded on video. The horses were ridden in collected trot, 3.0 m/s.

The interest in horses and equestrian sport is constantly increasing, and so is the will in both riders and trainers to learn more about the effect the rider and its equipment have on the horse. The last twenty years, more and more studies have been performed were the horse and its kinematics have been in focus. The access to more advanced technology has made it possible to study areas, which earlier have been hard to reach. The knowledge about kinematics in the horse, and how riders and their equipment interact with the horse?s movement, is also of great interest to veterinarians in equine practice.

According to ?Fotförbundet" (2012), Overpronation occurs frequently (80 %) in the Western World and furthermore overpronation of calcaneus influences the position of the pelvic and thorax (Fotförbundet, 2012; Behnke, 2008). The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not it is possible to connect overpronation of calcaneus to the problem in the rider?s seat as observed by the instructors of Strömsholm. The study will also investigate if the riders seat problems as noticed by the riding instructors are comparable with the problems found by the analyst during testing. One purpose with the study is to raise the instructors and riders awareness that anatomical deviations in the rider might influence the rider?s position in the saddle. The questions of the study are: - Is it possible to see seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus? - If it is possible to see more seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus, do the instructors in the study considers the seat problems be similar with each other? - If there are seat problems in the study, is it the same according to the instructors and the analyst in human biomechanics? The hypothesis of the study is that overpronation of calcaneus has an effect of the rider?s position in the saddle. The study is conducted as a blind study where the test subjects have been filmed (from knees down) as they walked barefooted and later while riding.

SUMMARYThe first and most basic skill a rider needs to learn is how to sit correctly in the saddle. This decides whether or not the rider will be able to follow the horse?s movements and use her riding aids in an efficient way. This correct seat is based on a straight line between the axis of the hip and heel. The seat must rest against the saddle with equal weight on both buttocks and the inside of the thighs.

Ridlärarens yrkesroll är att undervisa ryttare och öka deras kunskap inom ridkonsten. Vanligtvis är det sex till tolv elever i en ridgrupp, vilket ställer stora krav på ridläraren att nå fram med sitt budskap till varje enskild individ. Varje ryttare har sin individuella lärstil samt egna tidigare färdigheter och erfarenheter. För att varje ryttare skall kunna utvecklas krävs det att ridläraren behärskar en pedagogik som främjar den visuella ryttaren, den auditiva ryttaren och den kinestetiska och/eller taktila ryttaren. Syftet i detta arbete är att dokumentera hur demonstrationer i hoppning kan genomföras med en tydlig röd tråd och en genomtänkt progression samt att utvärdera studenternas syn på undervisningsformens pedagogiska värde kopplat till studentens lärstil.

In the new Library Act of 2014, it is stated that public library supply should be characterized by quality. To investigate what this means for the library, I do a functional analysis of ideas of librarians' views on quality and how they work with purchasing, weeding and mediation. I have chosen to limit the essay to fiction for adults in Swedish public libraries. By combining the basal idea analysis, where I investigate librarians' ideas about quality, with an operational analysis of ideas, where I examine the effects librarians' quality ideas get for the daily work, Iwant to find out the librarians' quality ideals.The material I analyze consists of 18 questionnaires, filled out by librarians with responsibility for purchasing and / or thinning in libraries across Sweden. The analysis is done with an analytical schedule, that consists of a number of opposing ideal types taken from previous research on quality, purchasing, thinning or mediation.
