In many earlier investigations a recall advantage of auditory lists spoken in a single voice has been found over recall of lists spoken in two alternating voices. One explanation proposed is an organization strategy which makes recall of alternating-voice lists so difficult. The strategy implies sorting same-voice words into same-voice groups at encoding. Based on this proposition, it was assumed that voice-by-voice recall would be better than recall in order of presentation, as then the recall instruction and the organization of items in memory would be in concordance. The present experiment tested and was unable to support this hypothesis.

Theproposal includes a new logotype, various printed matters, design planning of the store, interior design, signs and otherapplications.The theory section is within the field of graphic profiling and with some focus on profiling in stores.A clear visual identity is important for a company because what the company communicates internally and externallyshould be kept as consistent as possible. This is especially important nowadays when more and more similar products andstores are available. This means that the visual identity becomes part of the competition with other products and stores.The base elements in a visual identity are logotype, colors and typograpy. Using these elements according to rules andtemplates makes a consistent visual profile..

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att ta fram handlingar åt räddningsverketsinternationella avdelning, så att de på ett mer effektivt och ekonomiskt sätt kan leverera 10fots sanitetscontainrar på internationella uppdrag. Kravet som ställdes var att de skall ha enlivslängd på minst tre år i extrema väderförhållanden samt att de skall vara lätta att bygga omoch anpassas för de etniska behoven.I examensarbetet har vi arbetat med ett antal skisser på toalettcontainer och duschcontainersom räddningsverket har fått granska och lämna synpunkter på, ut ifrån dessa skisser har viarbetat fram ritningar.Rapporten beskriver hur vi har arbetat och jämfört olika material. Detta examensarbete är resultatet av en utredning av tvättning och rengöring av produkter som tillverkas på Volvo Construction Equipment Components AB i Eskilstuna. Arbetet är uppdelat på två huvudområden, tvättning i processen samt slutgiltig renhet. Skillnaderna mellan dessa är framförallt att det finns fastställda krav på den slutgiltiga renheten för artiklarna men en motsvarande märkning saknas för de olika tillverkningsstegen. Idag tvättas ungefär 70% av TMAs artiklar i en central tvättstation. I och med detta uppstår en hel del problem med ledtider och kvalitet.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att titta på och eventuellt upptäcka vissa samband mellan de vanligaste klimatparametrarna (lufttemperatur, sol, vind, luftfuktighet och lufttryck) och inomhusklimatet. Inomhusklimatet är i detta arbete det samma som luftens temperatur inomhus.Även en sammanställning av två studier kring NordIQ?s styrning av värmesystemet och tappvarmvattnet görs. En stor del av arbetet har varit att sammanställa och studera insamlad data från bland annat en väderstation.Under den här perioden (våren) är det solen och utomhustemperaturen som har störst påverkan på temperaturen inomhus. En stor del inom energisektorn idag handlar om att använda energin effektivare och minska på utsläppen. This essay is a time-geographic study of workinglife mobilities and investigates two days of work for five respondents. One from home and the other from the persons workingplace. Qualitative and quantitative methods has been applied to illustrate and analyze the two days along with time-geographic constraints. The findings are concluded into themes which represent the two local pockets of order: Home and Workplace. Themes of home are: Comfort station, Household, Curtained-off, Tele-contact and Environment.

Toxic metals contaminate soil worldwide and thus serve as sever environmental threat. Therefore the purposes of this study were to investigate in which soil fractions that different heavy metals (Fe, As, Cu, Zn and Pb) could be found in contaminated soils and if it is possible to use sieving as a method for decontamination. Soil samples were collected from three different locations, the Nasa silver mine, the Blaiken-mine and Svalget environmental station. The samples were oven dried and later on sieved into six different fractions 8mm, 4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.250mm, 0.063 mm and <0.063 mm. The fractions 4 mm, 0.5 mm and <0.063 mm from each location were analyzed in an x-ray fluorescence detector.

This work is meant to contribute to the research of adaptation studies by focusing on a special case: the transformation of a fictional diary into a movie. In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

This report describes the procedure in which we accomplished our task, which was to implement a present algorithm. This was made using C++. The algorithm is developed by Sasan Gooran, who is our examiner in this project. The algorithm uses an iterative method to produce the halftoned images. The reason for this project is to speed up the existing program which is made in Matlab.

The aim of this essay is to study how parents to children with learning disability experences the support they get from society. My main question has been: what kind of support offer does society offer this parents? What is good and what is less satisfactory in this support? The study is based on a qualitative method. Five parents with children who has learning disabilities has been used as base. The material has been analysed with a narrative, hernmeneutic perspective.The study concludes that the parents, use in this case, find that society does not offer the necessary understanding for their problem of their family.

I föreliggande single subject designstudie har tre personer med thai som modersmål och svenska som andraspråk tränats specifikt i svenskt uttal. Syftet med föreliggande studie var därför att utforma samt genomföra en uttalsintervention vilken delades in i en suprasegmentell och en segmentell modul. Syftet var vidare att undersöka hur suprasegmentella och segmentella förändringar i uttalet påverkade uttalets förståelighet. Uttalsträningen utfördes 14 gånger under en fem-veckors period. Interventionen delades upp i två moduler, en med suprasegmentellt fokus (B1) och en med segmentellt fokus (B2).

Styr is a computer program that the construction company NCC use in their construction projects. The program is used to keep the economy of their projects in a good order and things for the best in an early phase. The problem is a low extent of utilization. During the latest decade NCC has put a lot of job and money trying to develop the program. The question is how to get the employees to use the program in a greater extent.

In this study have I examined how treatment of girls with neuropsychological impairments is functioning? I have looked at the theories and methods of treatment on the base of the care program and how it is put into practice. In addition I have interviewed four girls who have undergone the treatment program.To gain perspective on institutional care as a social phenomenon, I have tried to give a brief historical retrospect in which particular care for women are described. I am also affecting certain gender aspects of institutional care. I have also tried to make a brief account of current research on the treatment.The study is a qualitative study in which I am apart from literature studies used participant observation in depth interviews as a method.My results indicate that a well structured treatment with CBT approach can work well to achieve lasting behavioural changes in students..
