This paper discusses difficulties and Failures with being a Neutral and objective scientist when writing about a subject which he or she is dedicated too.The purpose with this paper is to study the knowledge process, in other words, is some knowledge harder to see due to the scientist dedication to the subject or is some knowledge constructed due to the scientist dedication to the subject studied, and the process of intermediating, in other words, how to validate the results. Subject which is discussions are scientist objectivity, sociologist dilemmas, and different roles of scientists. The paper also deals with the importance of different perspectives and how ours choice of perspective influences ours research. Ethical state of conditions in interview situations and how we can reflect and criticise our own part and attitudes as an interviewer are also discussed in this paper..

This account deals with my degree in furniture design. The project was done in collaboration with the architect firm Byggnadskonst AB in a quest for the cafe chain "Vivels"Byggnadskonst AB?s mission was to make the interior of the cafe that Vivels is building in Larsberg Center on Lidingö. My assignment was to design chairs for the café. In the beginning I had even thought about designing a table, but as time past I focussed more and more on the chairs.

The aim of this master thesis is to find out how indexing of fiction works. I look at the consistency when users? choices of index words are compared with each other and I also compare users? choices to the current indexing made by libraries. I examine the subject heading list, Att indexera skönlitteratur, to find out how well it works in this particular context. The investigation included seven users who, in three steps, are creating a subject heading index of the Swedish novel Klippdockan by Cecilia Dahlheim.

Utifrån tidigare teorier och forskning har hypoteser bildats i syfte att pröva dessa hypoteser i praktiken. Syftet är att pröva om lärares språkbruk påverkar vilket språk elever använder vid muntlig kommunikation i matematik. Studien syftar även till att klargöra om lärares användning av matematiskt språk bidrar till att eleverna kommunicerar på ett matematiskt språk.Tidigare forskning visar att matematik kan kommuniceras på två språk; vardagsspråk och matematiskt språk. Forskning som redovisas i studien lyfter det matematiska språket som det språk elever bör kommunicera på. Det framgår även i studien att lärares språkbruk påverkar vilket språk elever använder då lärare ses som elevers språkliga förebild.Studien utgår från ett deduktivt förhållningssätt där syftet är att undersöka om elever påverkas av det språk som lärare använder.

Syftet med arbetet är att belysa hur experimentell film kan vara en resurs inom ramen för mediepedagogik för att arbeta med narrativa konstruktioner inom rörlig bild. Konstnären Keren Cytter skapar egensinniga videoverk där dialogen står i fokus på ett närmast teatraliskt sätt men vars historier är svårtillgängliga på grund av uppbrutna berättarstrukturer. En av hennes filmer, Dreamtalk, utgör det här arbetets empiri och undersöks utifrån frågor som har med dess narrativa konstruktion att göra i ett försök att synliggöra olika berättarstrukturer och narrativa begrepp.Metoderna som har använts i arbetet är filmanalys och konstnärlig gestaltning. I filmanalysen har Dreamtalk delats upp efter utvalda narrativa begrepp för att undersöka vad olika delar i filmen består utav. I den konstnärliga gestaltningen har det skapats två filmer.

This report describes how the process has evolved during the creation of a new web page forthe company Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC. The design methods that have been used aredescribed and also how parts of the webpage have been created by using the design methodresults. Our reflections around design and functionality are explained and how usability hasbeen our main focus during the master thesis. We also describe how it has been to work withan external costumer and how the tasks constantly have changed and been added as theprocess has continued.The background to this work is that AB Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC need to improve theircurrent web page. It is important to understand the process of appraisal of a business in order to establish its value. The purpose of our thesis is to establish which methods and models are used when evaluating a business and investigate the factors that may affect the value and price tag of a business. We have used a qualitative approach by conducting both indepth interviews and a survey as well as reading literature within the field. The main conslusion in our findings is that the common practice of discounted cash flow is widely used when bestowing a monetary value for a business, and in order to raise the value a well established customer relationship was the single most important factor. As far as lowering the value, the answers were of such a wide spread that a single factor could not be attributed.

Det finns olika teorier om hur moraliskt ansvar bör tillskrivas, och hur människor faktiskt verkar tänka vid tillskrivande av moraliskt ansvar till andra. Denna rapport utreder vilken betydelse kunskapsvillkoret har vid tillskrivande av moraliskt ansvar. Hur medveten en agent måste vara om konsekvenserna av sina handlingar för att anses ansvarig undersöktes med en experimentell studie. Undersökningen genomfördes med enkäter och totalt 350 personer deltog. Resultat visar att agenter kan tillskrivas ansvar för konsekvenser av sina handlingar de saknar kunskap om dessa konsekvenser.
