Vi har i detta arbete jämfört resultat i DLS-prov, moment läsförståelse, för ett antal elever i år 3 med deras resultat gällande läsförståelse vid de nationella proven. Vi ville se om dessa två prov bedömer läsförståelsen på samma sätt, för att se om DLS kan vara användbart som test för att hitta elever som behöver stöd när det gäller läsförståelse. Vårt resultat visar att det finns en överensstämmelse mellan våra elevers resultat på DLS-provet och samma elevers resultat på läsförståelsedelarna i de nationella proven för årskurs 3, 2011. Sambandet är signifikant starkare när vi jämför med resultaten på enbart Delprov B (läsning av skönlitterär text) än då vi jämför med resultaten för hela läsförståelseavsnittet respektive Delprov C (läsning av faktatext). Resultatet för våra elever tyder på att DLS kan vara användbart som test för att hitta elever som behöver stöd när det gäller läsförståelse av skönlitterära texter. Det är mer tveksamt om DLS är användbart för att fånga upp de elever som har svårigheter med läsförståelsen då det gäller läsning av faktatext. Det behövs dock mer tidskrävande och komplexa bedömningsformer för att vi ska kunna hjälpa eleverna att utveckla alla de förmågor och färdigheter som finns i kursplanemålen.

I studien har två experiment utförts med tyngdpunkt på arbetsminnets komponenter. Experimenten utgår från Baddeleys teori om arbetsminnet som är uppdelat på exekutiva funktioner för kontroll av olika undersystem, en fonologisk loop för auditiv information, ett visuospatialt skissblock för visuell information och en episodisk buffert för integrering av olika typer av information. För att testa dessa komponenter mot varandra utformades ett bildbaserat test för den episodiska bufferten. I experiment 2 ingick även två väletablerade test för kontroll av chunking och Stroop-effekten. Syftet var att kontrollera om det finns något samband mellan den episodiska bufferten och de andra komponenterna i Baddeleys min-nesmodell.

Syfte och frågeställningar:Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka förekomsten av ålderskodade platsannonser för lediga arbeten. Uppsatsen fokuserar på den yngsta och den äldsta åldersgruppen på arbetsmarknaden. De frågeställningar som ligger till grund för uppsatsen är ?Hur kan ålder förstås och användas inom sociologin??, ?På vilket sätt används och beskrivs ålder i platsannonser?? samt ?Hur kan synen på ålder vara diskriminerande??.Metod och material: Metoden som ligger till grund för studien i uppsatsen är innehållsanalys och vi har använt den för att analysera platsannonser i Göteborgs-Postens ?Jobb och Studier?-bilaga. Materialet består av 396 platsannonser, vilka behandlas i ett kategorisystem där en uppdelning mellan annonser sker, där ålder beskrivs explicit eller implicit.

Bakgrund: I Sverige finns det en könsskillnad som visar att flickor mår sämre och har en mer negativ självvärdering jämfört med pojkar. Självbilden är en stark bidragande orsak till barns psykiska hälsa och det finns ett samband mellan barns självbild och attityd till beröring. Metod: Tre enkäter: Jag Tycker Jag Är (JTJÄ), Ben Sira psychological distress (Bspd) och egenformulerade frågor om taktil massage (TM) samlades in bland 93 elever i årskurs sju från en mindre inlandsstad i södra Sverige. Svaren analyserades med oberoende t-test och Pearsons korrelationstest i SPSS 2.0.0. Resultat: Resultatet av ett oberoendet-test visade att det fanns en tendens till könsskillnad i en aspekt avsjälvvärdering (JTJÄ).

In the year 2002 a commission wasappointed by the government and taskedto clear up possible flaws in the lawgoverning spatial planning (Plan ochbygglagen, PBL). The commission's reportlaid the foundations for a new law whichwas adopted by the Swedish parliament onthe 20th of June 2010 and is scheduledto come into effect on the 2nd of May2011.The purpose of this thesis has been toexamine the changes made in the new law,primarily from a civil-rights point ofview, focusing on the appeal process.This is a highly interesting subjectconsidering one reason behind the newlaw was to simplify and streamline theplanning process while keeping civilrights intact.Through a comprehensive literature studyand interviews with experts the currentplanning process was mapped out andrelevant changes in the new law wereexamined. After the study had beenconcluded we were able to distinguishseveral areas that underwent especiallyinteresting changes;The requirement of a plan program wasremoved and the exhibition process wasremoved and replaced by a writtenreview. Individuals were given thepossibility of requesting a plan notice.The different spatial plan documentswere merged into one single document andthe number of responsible authoritiesfor spatial plans is no longer limitedto one.The study has shown that the aspirationfor a more effective spatial planningprocess has mostly been conducted at theexpense of individual rights.The single biggest obstacle forachieving a democratic planning processis learning how the law works and howthe spatial planning process isimplemented, this is has been proven tobe a very hard and time consuming taskfor individuals to undertake..

During the past few years there has been an observed decrease in physical fitness within different patient groups. As a part of the rehabilitating physiotherapy treatment it is important to acknowledge the physical condition of the patient. Physical fitness testing might be difficult due to physical limitations within different patient groups. A broad range of exercise tests is therefore of importance in clinical practice. The aim of this overview was to describe exercise tests used in rehabilitation contexts, and to define areas of use and restrictions.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenhet av att använda instrumentet Mini Mental Test (MMT) vid utredning och interventioner för personer med demens. Inklusionskriterier för att delta i studien var att deltagarna ska vara legitimerade arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom landsting eller kommun i Kalmar-, Östergötlands- och Västernorrlands län, samt att deltagarna har erfarenhet av instrumentet Mini Mental Test vid utredning och interventioner för personer med demens. Totalt medverkade sju arbetsterapeuter i studien. Data samlades in genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer med stöd av en intervjuguide och insamlad data analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analys av data resulterade i tre kategorier ?Logiskt men inte tillräckligt?, ?Användandet av resultatet för arbetsterapeuter och andra professioner? och ?Faktorer som påverkar och vikten av förberedelse?.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the motives underlying the consumption of alcohol among college students and if the motives differ between genders. The study is based on the following questions: What are the motives underlying alcohol consumption among students? Do these motives differ between men and women? Is there any connection between the motives for alcohol consumption and consumption? The study is a quantitative, empirical comparison study and the data presented is mainly descriptive. The study group consists of students from a university in central Sweden. After an exclusion of five students a total of 81 students participated in the survey, of which 55 were female and 26 were male.

Studien avser att undersöka utvecklingen av styrkeuthållighet och aerob förmåga efter sexveckors träningscamp med MIT-Fitness. Campet består av tre träningstillfällen med högintensiv intervallträning á 75 minuter i veckan. Deltagarna i studien var regelbundet fysisk aktiva kvinnor (n=4) som tidigare deltagit i MIT-Fitness träningscamp. Åstrands cykeltest användes för att undersöka förändringen av den maximala syreupptagningsförmågan(VO2max). Utvecklingen av styrkeuthållighet undersöktes genom dynamiska och statiska tester.
