Examensarbetet syftar till att ge förslag till ett trivsamt bebyggelseområde på Lövholmen i Stockholm. Vad är det som gör vissa stadsrum mer trivsamma än andra? Vilka faktorer påverkar vårt intryck av det offentliga rummet? Jag har valt att fokusera på faktorerna form, flöde och funktion, som jag anser har stor påverkan på hur människor upplever stadsmiljön. Stadens form utgör dess gestalt, d v s struktur, skala och utseende. Med flöde avses de mänskliga rörelserna i det offentliga rummet.

Shock absorber units play a key role in establishing the driving dynamics and performance of automobiles. Öhlins Racing has manufactured high-tech automotive shock absorbers for over 30 years. Öhlins Racing?s advanced technology has contributed to over 200 world championships in automobile racing. Öhlin?s manufacturing process has long utilized automated fluid filling equipment during the final shock absorber unit assembly stage. The filling process consists of vacuum pumping the shock absorber unit and subsequent transfer of fluid. Vacuum pumping is necessary to remove residual air from the shock absorber unit prior to initiating the liquid filling stage. The presence of undesirable gases drastically compromises the performance of a shock absorber. The filling degree, defined as the final ratio of air to oil, is determined by the specific filling protocol as well as the specific equipment utilized.The current investigation aims to develop a viable technique to accurately determine residual air content in shock absorber units. If the filling degree can be appropriately quantified for a specific manufacturing process, then the air/oil ratio may be quantitatively related to shock absorber performance. The utilized measurement method must be completely integrated into the manufacturing process to guarantee shock absorber performance specifications according to the manufacturer?s standards. By utilizing the measurement method developed in this work, the manufacturing process, manufacturing equipment and product specifications can all be tailored to provide improved filling conditions.The developed measurement method provides accurate quantification of the filling degree under a wide range of processing conditions. The method establishes the relative quantity of air in the shock absorber unit by performing in-situ compressibility tests. The fill ratio can be controlled and varied by manipulating the vacuum pressure exerted during the filling process. Performance tests, however, indicate no correlation between filling degree and unit performance..

To find competencies on a workplace with flex office structure.Companies today, 2012 are facing new opportunities and challenges. Information technology develops, competition is bigger today than ever, increased environmental requirements will be added and new patterns of life and values are occurring. This means that people who work in offices feel strong pressure of conversion, which is something that people experience differently. Therefore it is essential how the working environment is designed in an office. Working in an office means a lot of information processing and we can see large changes taking place.

Syfte: Huvudsyftet är att undersöka effekterna av införandet av IAS inom fastighetsbranschen och se om de nya principerna har lett mot en mer värderelevant redovisning. Delsyftet är att se på införandets effekter på det egna kapitalet, samt att utröna förhållanden före och efter införandet, då sett till två tidsperioder 2000-2004 och 2005-2009.Metod: Undersökningen är en totalundersökning som innefattar tio stycken företag. Studien sträcker sig från år 2000 - 2009 där 2000 - 2004 är perioden innan införandet av IAS 40 och perioden 2005 - 2009 är efter införandet. CAPM och Tobins Q används för att se om det finns skillnader i eget kapital samt eget kapital i förhållande till börskurs före och efter införandet.  Teori: Undersökningen utgår från Finansieringsteori, Effektiva marknadshypotesen, Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Tobins Q, Redovisningsteori, Beslutsfattande och Human Information ProcessingEmpiri: I kapitlet illustreras undersökningen i tabeller och diagram. Statistik programmet SPSS har använts för bearbetning av data och illustreras även i diagram för CAPM och Tobins Q.

Sprutbyte har varit ett kontroversiellt ämne för debatt och forskning sedan 1980-talet. Denna studie syftar till att belysa fyra ideella organisationers - Convictus, Svenska Brukarföreningen (SBF), IOGT-NTO och Riksförbundet Narkotikafritt Samhälle (RNS) - arbete i sprutbytesdebatten i Stockholm och på så sätt utvidga förståelsen för både debatten och hur den ideella sektorn möjligen kan vara en del av större social förändring. Vilken inställning organisationerna haft till sprutbyte och hur den inställningen är nära kopplad till organisationernas syn på narkotika i allmänt, hur organisationerna argumenterat för respektive mot sprutbyte och hur argumenten legitimerats samt hur organisationerna ser på sin roll i sprutbytesdebatten är frågor som behandlas i studien. Eftersom organisationerna anses agera utifrån olika verklighetsuppfattningar analyseras organisationernas argument och inställningar utifrån ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv. Empirin består av fyra intervjuer med organisationsrepresentanter och hemsidematerial.

This paper is a study and comparison between the two Wireless LAN (WLAN) standards HiperLAN/2 and IEEE 802.11a. WLANs are used instead or together with ordinary LANs to increase mobility in for example an office. HiperLAN/2 is an European standard developed by ETSI and the IEEEs standard is American. A WLAN-card consists roughly of a Medium Access Control (MAC), Physichal layer (PHY) and an antenna. The antenna is the same for the different standards.

I föreliggande arbete undersöker jag begreppet negativ terapeutis reaktion. Undersökningen tar sin utgångspunkt i Karl Abrahams artikel från 1919, En speciell form av neurotiskt motstånd mot den analytiska metoden, och fortsätter med en granskning av Sigmund Freuds beskrivning av begreppet i Jaget och Detet 1923. Jag följer sedan begreppets utveckling i arbeten av Joan Riviere (1936), Melanie Klein (1957), Herbert Rosenfeld (1971), Ludvig Igra (1988) och Horacio Etchegoyen (1991).Negativ terapeutisk reaktion är en form av motstånd som visar sig i den terapeutiska processen. Den är ett tekniskt begrepp och inget diagnoskriterium. Den tillhör jaget och är att betrakta som en jag-strategi som är omedveten till sin natur. Den är att betrakta som ett uttryck för destruktiva krafter, som ett derivat av dödsdriften.De bakomliggande faktorerna kan vara av skilda slag, men det finns gemensamma överensstämmande områden.

I denna uppsats har vi genomfört en kvantitativ studie bland studenter för att kartlägga deras inköpsprofil. Studenter är intressanta ur den aspekten att deras hushåll kan sägas representera den typ av små- eller ensamhushåll som vi ser en snabb ökning i antal av i Sverige idag samt för att de utgör en av de konsumentgrupper som ofta har begränsade ekonomiska resurser. Syftet var, förutom att identifiera de faktorer som har betydelse för studenterna i vår urvalsgrupps val av butik, även att jämföra vår urvalsgrupp med konsumenter generellt samt att undersöka om det fanns någon skillnad mellan könen. Undersökningen utfördes vid Stockholms Universitet vid tre olika tillfällen och datainsamlingsmetoden som användes var en enkät som studenterna fick fylla i. Vår undersökning visade att närheten till butik, låga priser, vana samt ett brett sortiment/utbud av varor var bland de viktigaste faktorerna för våra respondenter av båda könen, när det gäller att utföra dagligvaruinköp vilket överensstämmer väl med sekundärdata.

Tidigare vid ombyggnation, försäljning och förvaltning av byggnader som var uppförda innan 80-talet utgick fastighetsägarna från enkla handritade pappersritningar. Det är en svår utmaning att hålla ritningen uppdaterad till verkliga förhållanden d.v.s. relationsritning. För ca 25 år sedan (i början på 80-talet) byttes papper och penna ut mot avancerade ritprogram (CAD) för framtagning av ritningar. Idag används CAD i stort sett för all nyprojektering och de senaste åren har utvecklingen gått mot en större användning av 3D-underlag än tidigare 2D-ritningar.

Idag använder allt fler människor sina smartphones för att surfa och använda tjänster online. Detta innebär att en stor del text läses på små skärmar. Detta arbete handlar om hur text bäst utformas och struktureras för att enklast kunna läsas och uppfattas på en mobilskärm. Faktorer som berörs är typgrad, ljusrum, textlängd, teckensnittsklass, radlängd, bild i text och kontrastverkan. Arbetet utgår från en normativ, svensk person utan funktionsnedsättningar.

Industrialization of construction is by some considered to be a solution to the building industry's problems about the lack of quality, high production costs, low productivity and poor environmental adaptation. Meanwhile, industrialized construction partly earned a bad reputation after the million housing program. As large-scale projects where promoted during this period, it worked very well to use the technique of construction elements. In the mid seventies though, criticism arose which claimed that the aesthetic qualities had been deprived in the corporates effort to make housing production as efficient as possible.Tyréns, Derome and CBBT (centre for building and housing in wood) cooperates in a development project to develop a building system for 4-8-storey buildings, consisting of three platforms: a technology platform, an IT platform and a processing platform. The technology platform consists of flexible, industrially built flat modules of wood and from this platform the subsystem stairwells, is broken out.

This thesis has been performed at International Aluminum Casting AB in Eskilstuna,Sweden.International Aluminum Casting is currently working with a number of improvementsin their production in order to achieve their vision of being the leading aluminum foundry in Sweden. As a step in their improvement efforts, focus was directed ondeveloping the company's fixtures for machining.Efforts were focused on two main objectives: to develop a complete proposal on afixture which leads to a more rational use of an assigned part and also form general design advice for development of fixtures in the future.During the work progress, discussions have been made with experts at International Aluminum Casting within the field of fixture design. The objective was to obtain sufficient knowledge about the underlying problems with the current fixture for the part. At this stage of the thesis, a number of essential criteria for fixture design were produced. Information and inspiration were obtained by examining the company?s currently developed fixtures.After gathering the necessary information the process of developing three different fixture concepts started.

The residential yard at Kvarteret Landsfiskalen 1, in the area Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö was built in 1971 and has since then been reconstructed twice, in 1984 and 2008. The yard is found in an area which was built during the years 1965 ? 1974, a period in which the swedish goverment approved a decision to build one million homes, and much of the events in this particular yard is also typical for the process in many other areas built during the same period.At the original construction the design of the yard was entirely incused by the pressure in time and finance, one was under at that time, in order to over- come the housing shortage. The design it has nevertheless been given, reflects the esthetic ideals of that time well.The building of the area was barely finished when the swedish authori- ties started handing out grants in order to support the rearmament of the outdoor environment in the areas built during the so called ?million program?.

The digital map product kNN-Sweden contains nationwide data of the country?s forest land. The estimated forest variables are mean age, mean tree height, volume per tree species and total volume. Today Södra Skog?s assessments of timber potentials are mainly based on experience rate and subjective assumptions.

Stora Enso Skog has a long term contract regarding felling rights and silvicultural activities on forest owned by Bergvik Skog. In the autumn 2006, Bergvik Skog proposed a new thinning program, ?Bergvikgallring?. The new program implied an increased focus on extraction of smaller trees compared to the present thinning program, Stora Enso Skog?s ?Kvalitetsgallring?.
