The purpose of this study is to show what melancholy and irony in my poems express and what techniques that are used to accomplish these effects. Many theorists, among them Sigmund Freud and Julia Kristeva, characterize melancholy as an experience of loss, and therefore one of my questions is what kind of losses appear in my poetry. In search for an answer I analyze the texts from both a psychoanalytic and a sociological point of view. In the latter perspective I discuss the postmodern society using concepts from contemporary thinkers like Zygmunt Bauman, Fredric Jameson and Jean Baudrillard. Finally, I also examine if melancholy has an influence on the form of the poems.

Bakgrund:Ett barn som befinner sig i en förlustsituation är beroendes av de personer som finns i dess omgivning. Barn behöver precis som vuxna uttrycka sina känslor och behov. Enligt forskning leker sig barnen ur de situationer som för dem är svåra.Syfte:Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera lekens betydelse för barns bearbetning av förlust. Vi kommer att undersöka hur ett antal pedagoger stödjer och vägleder barnet/barnen i deras bearbetning kring förluster.Metod:Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning utifrån en hermeneutisk ansats. Vi har intervjuat 6 verksamma pedagoger inom förskolan.

This study focuses on aspects of cult experiences, given by deconverted formermembers of closed religious movements. Their testimonies were published inbooks or interviews. The aims of the study were to understand the interactionbetween the religious group and its members, living in high tension towardsmainstream society and their testimonies of altered self-esteem during attraction,membership, deconversion and defection. The purpose was to understand how aperson´s self-esteem is affected by inner mechanisms of closed religiousmovements and how these experiences affects a persons identity. Another aspectwas whether there might be differences in altered self-esteem, between those whoenlisted as adults, and those who were born into the closed religious contexts.Social Identity Theory, Sigmund Freud´s and Carl Rogers models of personal egowere used as models of interpretations.

I föreliggande arbete undersöker jag begreppet negativ terapeutis reaktion. Undersökningen tar sin utgångspunkt i Karl Abrahams artikel från 1919, En speciell form av neurotiskt motstånd mot den analytiska metoden, och fortsätter med en granskning av Sigmund Freuds beskrivning av begreppet i Jaget och Detet 1923. Jag följer sedan begreppets utveckling i arbeten av Joan Riviere (1936), Melanie Klein (1957), Herbert Rosenfeld (1971), Ludvig Igra (1988) och Horacio Etchegoyen (1991).Negativ terapeutisk reaktion är en form av motstånd som visar sig i den terapeutiska processen. Den är ett tekniskt begrepp och inget diagnoskriterium. Den tillhör jaget och är att betrakta som en jag-strategi som är omedveten till sin natur. Den är att betrakta som ett uttryck för destruktiva krafter, som ett derivat av dödsdriften.De bakomliggande faktorerna kan vara av skilda slag, men det finns gemensamma överensstämmande områden.

It has been controlled through constrictive fashion, family and social virtues and through how we perceive gender and sexuality. This essay strives to show, not only how the body and the aesthetic values coexist, but also how they work together and influence each other, with the body as the aesthetic medium. To do this, Michel Foucault?s writings of sexuality and his theories on morality and discipline, as well as Judith Butler?s works on normativity and performativity are being used.

There are differences today amongst psychoanalysts regarding if psychoanalysis should limit itself to being exclusively a hermeneutic discipline or if psychoanalysis should find points of contact with neurobiology. The purpose of this essay is to touch upon the larger issue that creates the different points of view: Can psychoanalysis become enriched by finding points of contact with neurobiology, and should psychoanalysis be regarded as belonging to a broader scientific field than being exclusively a human science? The question at issue is: Can modern neurobiology contribute to a development of the psychoanalytic concepts; compulsion to repeat, transference/countertransference and talking cure? The method used is a literature study. The result shows that: Freud?s theories regarding traumatic compulsion to repeat can be linked with LeDoux?s theory of "emotional memory".

Uppsatsen undersöker hur Olofs inre utveckling i Romanen om Olof från 1934-1937 av Eyvind Johnson kan läsas med hjälp av sagorna. I uppsatsens första del ges en beskrivning av syfte och frågeställning, metod och en översikt av tidigare tolkningar av sagorna i Romanen om Olof. Metoden utgår ifrån Jungs arketyp- och individuationsbegrepp. I uppsatsens andra del görs en tolkning utav sagorna med hjälp av Jungs arketyper, vilka sedan sätts i samband med Olofs individuationsprocess. .

In this essay I evaluate the legality of Karl Popper?s criticism against psychoanalysis, regarding this theory of Freud?s being pseudoscientific. Popper?s criticism is based on his theory of demarcation in which he states that an empirical theory must be possible to test by observations in order to be, as most important is, hypothetically possible to falsify based on other empirical statements ? often in the form of new found facts that contradict the original statement/theory. In purpose of assessing Popper?s criticism I perform a modified idea analysis, based on a book by Evert Vedung (1977).

This thesis discusses how a historic woman is represented on stage today. The woman in mind is Sabina Spielrein, and she is portrayed in a play called: Name: Spielrein Sabina. She was born in the late 19th century and made a significant impact on the development in psycho-analysis. Since her letters, diaries and fragments was found 1977, and later on in 1982, nu-merous of people have been fascinated regarding her life, especially with her relation to Jung and Freud. One of my arguments is that there could be another story to tell, as she is living in a context when women were organized and struggled for their rights on many levels.

I min uppsats vill jag inbjuda till en alternativ tolkning av Hjalmar Söderbergs Martin Bircks ungdom (1901). Syftet med uppsatsen är att ge förståelse för Martin Bircks karaktär och handlande genom att belysa den centrala relationen mellan Martin och modern. För att analysera Martins psykologi ställs hans gestalt mot den historiska samtidens uppfattningar om psykologi. Jag har även använt mig av ett psykoanalytiskt angreppssätt, framför allt grundat på Sigmund Freuds idéer, vilket fungerar både som litterär teori och metod.I min undersökning har jag funnit att Martin är en neurotisk person som lider av många av de psykiska problem som var vanliga runt 1900-talets sekelskifte, så som neurasteni. Jag har i enlighet med freudiansk psykoanalys tolkat Martins neuros som grundad i en inre konflikt mellan detet och överjaget.

In this paper Mona Hatoums installation Corps étranger is discussed via a post structuralized method based on associative and semiotic comparisons with vanitas, a post-modern self-portrait, and as a representative for modern visual art. The analyze touches upon pornography, science fiction and the quest for scientific conquest in outer and inner space. Theoretical references are Foucault, Freud, Lacan, Barthes, Dolar, Said and Virilio. Hatoum makes the observer a voyageur with the aid of the latest medical technology, endoscope, which gives her the opportunity to make an introvert self-portrait when she films her own throat and rectum. But at the same time she makes the portrait of us all.

Syftet med uppsatsen är dels att klargöra synen på det kvinnliga och manliga könet samt synen på sexualitet i rådgivningslitteraturen, dels att spegla svaren från analysen med tre kontrasterande synsätt för att se likheter och skillnader. Detta kommer jag att göra genom att studera två böcker med kristen rådgivningslitteratur från 1948 som heter Kärlekslivets och äktenskapets etik skriven av Arvid Runestam och Trivsel och trassel i äktenskapet skriven av Erik Arbin. Under studiet av rådgivningslitteraturen kommer jag att besvara dessa frågor:Vilka egenskaper tillskrivs kvinnan respektive mannen i litteraturen?Vilken anses vara den rådande livsnormen när det gäller sexualitet?Vad anses hota kristendomens livsetik/värld?Jag kommer sedan att spegla rådgivningslitteraturen i tre kontrasterande synsätt; Nina Björks tankar kring feminism, kvinnligt och manligt och sexualitet i Björks roman Under det rosa täcket, Sigmund Freuds syn på religion, tabu och sexualitet där jag främst utgår från hans roman Totem och Tabu, och slutligen studerar jag könsrollerna i den skönlitterära romanen Thérèse Raquin skriven av Émile Zola. Med spegla, menar jag att jag kommer att söka efter likheter och skillnader mellan de tre synsätten och rådgivningslitteraturen..

I den här magisteruppsatsen gör jag en deskriptiv innehållsanalys av den Schweiziske psykologen Carl Gustav Jungs verk den Röda Boken. Jag kommer att använda mig av tre målningar från boken och via dem analysera Jungs process i arbetet och hur de speglar hans liv under denna period. Min frågeställning är om skapandet av den Röda Boken även innebar en spontan bildterapi för Jung. Lyckas Jung via skapandet av bilderna och skrivandet av boken även bedriva och hitta en ny väg för egenterapi? Slutligen så kommer jag fram till att Jung via sitt arbete med den Röda Boken och den katarsis som medföljer, hittar nya metoder för terapeutiskt arbete som senare kom att utvecklas till den analytiska psykologin.
