All over the world the urbanisation increases at the expense of green areas. Many plants and animals are endangered today because their habitats gets smaller or disappear. The green areas that are left in city centres and suburbs are often small and surrounded by roads and buildings. Despite this, several studies have shown that these small green areas may house large biological diversity.This project aims to study the biological diversity in small green patches in residential areas. The study has been carried out in Råsunda in Solna municipality (Stockholm county) during the period May?July 2006.Three equivalent areas (5000?10 000 m2) with quite many old oaks were chosen for the study and inventoried for birds and saproxylic insects.

BakgrundCallcenter- verksamhet har vuxit fram snabbt och utvecklats mycket under de senaste årtionden, både internationellt och i Sverige. Det är en verksamhet som innebär många utmaningar i en ofta komplex arbetsmiljö med höga krav på samverkan inom systemperspektivet Människa - Teknik - Organisation. Arbetsförmedlingen tillhandahåller handläggning per telefon via kundtjänster på sju olika orter i Sverige. Korttidssjukfrånvaron ansågs högre i denna verksamhet än i övriga organisationen och målet var att minska den. SyfteHuvudsyftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka om det fanns arbetsmiljöfaktorer på Arbetsförmedlingen Kundtjänst som förklarade korttidssjukfrånvaron. Detta genom att tillämpa ett MTO- perspektiv (Människa - Teknik - Organisation). MetodFör att få svar på vår frågeställning tillämpades metodtriangulering genom kvalitativ och kvantitativ datainsamling.

Inom arkitektbranchen är tävlingar ett vanligt arbetssätt men samtidigt ett unikt förfarande för arkitekter som akademisk yrkesgrupp. Vi hade inga tidigare erfarenheter av arkitekttävlingar och såg examenssarbetet som ett bra tillfälle att bygga erfarenheter inför yrkeslivet. Vårt gemensamma examensarbete är en undersökning av tävlingsformatet som arbetssätt och genomförs genom att delta i den allmäna idétävlingen OpenGap InNatur_2. Därefter kommer vi att utvärdera och reflektera över vårt deltagande och resultatet i tävlingen. Vårt mål är att kunna erbjuda landskapsarkitekter och studenter värdefull inblick i vad denna typ av tävlingar innebär och den specifika problematik som vårt val av tävling förde med sig. InNatur_2:s tävlingsuppgift bestod av att arbeta fram ett idéförslag på ett besökscentrum för ett valfritt skyddat naturområde.

This master thesis is about a place that has a story to tell. Olsson?s garden came about when Mr Carl Oscar Olsson acquired a piece of land in Landalabergen in the beginning of the 1930's and at that time he started his industrious work of uniting much of Sweden's flora in his garden. Since the very beginning Olsson's garden has played a lot of different rolls in a variety of situations and meant different things for different people. Today one can find traces from Mr Olsson's life and deeds in the garden.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.

This report analyzes disposable packaging and returnable packaging with the methods life cycle analysis and life cycle costs analysis. These two different packaging are analyzed through the company Clas Ohlson?s packaging-flow. To get a picture of how the flow works, a visit at the company and email contact have been done with Clas Ohlson to get relevant informationToday Clas Ohlson has a big flow of articles to the stores without larger variations in the demand, with the exception of autumn, which is when customers start shopping for Christmas. Clas Ohlson?s articles are placed on a pallet and are wrapped into plastic-film for protection and to make sure that nothing will be stolen.

The ever-growing e-commerce brings many opportunities for society's consumers and businesses. Digitization has strongly contributed to these opportunities and has, among other things, facilitated the search for information and increased the range for the customer. While the opportunities are many, the increased consumption has also brought consequences. The increase in consumption contributes, among other things, to quantities of deliveries and returns as well as increased waste, all of which results in environmental destruction. The issue of sustainability is very topical today and is influenced by almost everything today. In connection with the markets changing, the consumers' behaviors and expectations also change.

This Master thesis is made at the request of the local municipality of Uppsala in Sweden. The purpose of this work is to create a guiding management plan. Recreation, conservation of the cultivated landscape and the historical environment, conservation biology and the aim of the landowners are all considerd. The area is almost 34 hectares and located north of the centre of Uppsala. Landowners are the National Heritage Board, the diocese of Uppsala, the university of Uppsala, the local municipality of Uppsala and one private landowner.

In some postmodern philosophy and theology, the view of God has returned to the centre of the discussion. God is seen as a living reality beyond human conception. Some of the contemporary philosophers even relate to the negative or apofatic theology. They often do this as a contrast to the positive theology. The view of God in postmodern theology and philosophy is beyond our rational knowledge.

Idag väljer allt fler butiker att starta en webbshop och på så vis nå ut till fler kunder samt marknadsföra sig på ett enkelt vis. Eftersom konsumenter söker och jämför produkter via Internet är det viktigt att företag och deras erbjudande är tillgängliga även där och inte försvinner i det brus som uppstår på marknaden på grund av exempelvis konkurrenter. Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka, analysera samt diskutera hur en mindre klädbutik påverkas av att både driva en butik och en webbshop samt även vilka fördelar som kan utnyttjas. Vi har intervjuat tre företag som har fått svara på ett antal frågor om hur det är att driva en webbshop. Vi valde att intervjua mindre butiker som använder sig av webbshop som ett komplement, för att se hur det påverkar företaget.

At the centre of this study lies the question if normative gender thinking affects the way poetry gets reviewed and how the reviews are written, this in relation to both the gender of the reviewer and the poet. The study crosses three academic fields; gender studies, poetry and journalism, and is based on the cultural studies theory of media affecting and even creating the world around it.The study is based on two types of analysis. One quantitative analysis based on the thematic criticism theory about detail studies that shows bigger patterns, this analysis focuses on how the poet and his/hers work are being treated in the reviews in areas such as how much space they´re given in the newspapers, how they are named by the reviewer and the tendency to quote the reviewed work.  And one qualitative analysis based on the new criticism method of close reading, that focuses on the reviewers way of writing and how that may be connected with theories of gender differences, this both connected to the gender of the reviewers and the poets.The material chosen for this study are all the reviews that were published in the same newspapers and that reviewed two specific poetry works by two specific poets chosen with great sensibility to age and career so that their difference in gender would be the most significant difference between them. The works were chosen based on year of publishing, they were supposed to be published as newly as possible and as close to each other in time as possible.

Shopping, som till stor del äger rum i köpcentrum, har blivit en väsentlig del av människors liv och är i dagsläget en av de viktigaste sociala fritidsaktiviteter som människor ägnar sig åt. Inom den svenska detaljhandeln har de större köpcentrumen utvecklats till att bli allt mer mångfacetterade, i såväl utbud som hela sitt uttryckssätt, men samtidigt har deras innehåll blivit allt mer likriktat. I debatten om köpcentrum har vikten av differentiering och upplevelsedimensionen hamnat mer i fokus. Det har väckt frågeställningar kring vad köpcentrumupplevelse egentligen har för betydelse för konsumenter och om det påverkar människors beteende. Den här rapporten syftar till att undersöka om konsumenters köpcentrumupplevelser påverkar deras besöks- och köpbeteende.

Hur tar sig människor utan tillgång till bil till externa köpcentrum? Är det meningen att som gående eller cyklist behöva ta sig fram i ett hav av bilar som står parkerade eller kör i cirklar för att hitta den "bästa" parkeringsplatsen? Målet med detta arbete är att undersöka om, och i så fall hur, det planeras för gång- och cykeltrafikanter vid externa köpcentrum. Arbetet vill uppmärksamma att det ofta finns problem i planeringen för gång- och cykeltrafikanter kring dessa platser. Syftet är att bidra med kunskap om hur planering och utformning av gång- och cykelvägar vid externa köpcentrum sker. Frågeställningarna har varit följande: (1)Anpassar planerare utemiljön vid köpcentrum till gång- och cykeltrafikanter? Om det görs, hur görs det då? Om inte, hur bör det göras? (2)Varför ska det planeras för gång- och cykeltrafik generellt och därmed också vid externa köpcentrum? (3)Vad finns det för dokument och riktlinjer som styr planeringen för gång- och cykeltrafik både generellt och kommunalt i Lunds kommun? (4)Hur fungerar det egentligen för personer som går eller cyklar vid exemplet Nova Lund? Hur kan det förbättras? En studie av dokument som styr planeringsprocessen för den fysiska planeringen och därmed gång- och cykeltrafiken har gjorts.

Urban forests are important for people to get at break and be able to relax in a stressful world. Several studies show that we feel better through being out in the forest and historically this was the normal environment for us. As a result of population growth and urbanization we tend to spend less time in nature nowadays than before. Due to this development urban forests have become a central role in our society as a place where people can fulfill their needs and interests. The management of the urban forest is therefore important, especially for municipalities that own forest which is supposed to be of benefit to local residents.Falköpings municipality owns approximately 260 hectares of forest in the popular and most visited recreational area along Mösseberg?s southern slope.
