Eskilstuna Folkhögskola is located in Munktellstaden in Eskilstuna. The school has two separate buildings with entrances that are difficult to find. This bachelor thesis in European studies examines the perceived effects ofEuropeanization among officers, soldiers and seamen in the Swedish Armed Forces(SAF) through the use of semi-structured respondent interviews. The study focuses onchange in rules, values, identity and organizational changes.The study shows the most important parts of what is believed to be the biggestfactors behind the major change in the SAF during the last 20 years. The biggestfactors are shown to be the fall of the Warsaw pact and the increasing influence ofNATO in Europe. Interviews show that staff within the SAF has difficultiesseparating change coming from the EU and the above-mentioned factors, partially dueto the fact that most members of the European union are also part of NATO. The purpose of this study is to evaluate an existing user interface. The company in question has a web-based user interface (available through logging in via their website), but they are interested in making the process of using the interface more convenient and the interface more accessible, so that users without a background in computing can properly manage the interface. At the same time they want to apply additional functionalities in order create and to manage increased traffic on the company?s website. For this reason it is important to take into account the issues involved in human-computer interaction (HCI) as well as aspects of cognitive psychology in order to make the tool and the web interface more usable, more motivational, and therefore more efficient and professional.

Today more and more municipalities interact across a wide range of sectors. The reasons tostart interacting are varying and for those who succeed with this form of work, there arebenefits in terms of efficiency and knowledge exchanges. But are the reasons that interactalways obvious? Sweden currently has 290 municipalities of varying size and allmunicipalities have basically the same mission, to deliver services to its residents.Information technology allows municipalities to digitize much of the workload, but theintroduction of the technique is not without problems. For small municipalities, there are greatdemands to deliver reliability and support for their internal and external services.

Huvudsyftet med examensarbetet är att beräkna lönsamheten för fartygsimport av olika fasta trädbaserade biobränslen. Arbetet vänder sig i första hand till en läsare som har begränsade kunskaper om ämnet.Genom att använda teorier om sjöfartens grunder tillsammans med svensk erfarenhet av logistik, söker författaren finna samtliga steg och faktorer som ingår i importprocessen. Efter att delmomenten kartlagts, kan kostnader härledas och därefter är det möjligt att konstruera kalkyler för erhållande av en företagsekonomisk synvinkel på uppsatsen. Med hjälp av kalkyler och statistik kan analys av lönsamhet beroende på olika importval genomföras.Bränslena som berörs i studien är träbaserade pellets, träbaserade briketter, stamvedsflis samt rundved.Författaren vill även testa en hypotes som förts på tal under jägmästarutbildningen; att det skulle vara mer lönsamt att öka graden av vidareförädling så sent i försörjningskedjan som möjligt.
