The Saami, a Nordic indigenous people scattered over four countries, has for centuries been regarded as parts of the national populations of the countries in which they live. During the 19th century saami demands for greater influence resulted en several changes, among them the founding of a Swedish Saami Council in 1993. The council became a popularly elected, representative institution with an agenda of its own, but also a public authority answerable to the government. The decision to attribute the council this twofold role was unusual and, from a certain point of view, even controversial: it makes it difficult to determine the location of the power to act in saami-related issues and the legitimacy to do so.This essay is about how the twofold role came into existence, what it leads to and how the seemingly contradictive duality is managed. It has an institutional approach with theories concerning institutions and etnicity as well as institutional change and handling of complicated and ambiguous demands.

Background: According to many authorities Trademark consideration will within the companies become all more prioritized objectives for competitive advantage and a strong organisational structure.Trade marking is becoming an important tool, not only Production oriented companies apply this on their products or services whereas it is today spread in many different sectors.Problems: On the basis of theoretical and empirical studies, we will try to see how a trademark is built up.This will guide us to our questions at issue:? How has the actual process for HTF been in order to strengthen and to build up their trademark, how have they achieved this in practice?? What are the underlying criteria?s to for this work and what role has the consultant company BMN in the actual process?Aim: The authors have for intention to create an understanding on why there is interesting for a trade union organisation like HTF to carry out a trademark development investment. A further understanding will be to highlighting a strong trademark's advantages and possible disadvantages.Results: As a trade union organisation where the relationship to the members and the potential members is becoming all more important is the interesting to highlight their trademark clear and in addition to that contribute to building and establishing strong relationships. on the basis of this study we can state that it is now one of the most important support activities that as a trade unions to highlight its core values through trademark. As a trade union, one can to a large extent work with and to apply the market the economic mocks-up for trademark build up.The most important aspect is that we can state , in the future developed to concentrate more on communication, positioning, segmentation and diversification, which the trademark act as intermediary.

This study departs from the observation that since the late 1980´s educational programmes for curators have been established and since then expanded greatly. The programmes are part of a process of institutionalization and professionalization of the role of the curator within the international contemporary art field where the role as such has gained much power. Even though many statements have been made about this relatively new phenomenon of curatorial studies, there is a lack of sufficient research. The intention of this study is therefore to examine the educational programmes as such. The selection of 15 programmes has been made with the purpose to include early as well as newly established and to cover a wide geographic area.

Ledarskap är ett frekvent diskuterat ämne där nya trender kontinuerligt sätts i fokus. Idag finns det delade ledarskapet som ett alternativ till det traditionella ledarskapet och det är ett fenomen som blir allt mer förekommande inom organisationer. Det delade ledarskapet innebär att två eller flera delar på samma chefsposition. En organisation som implementerat detta är Södertäljepsykiatrin där ett unikt samarbete mellan de två huvudmännen, landstinget och kommunen, arbetar i avsikt att skapa en helhetssyn för patienten.

The increased interest in relationship marketing and the potential of the Internet as a platform for relationship building activities have given rise to new ways for companies to interact with their customers, such as services based on a freemium pricing model. Based on the premise that relationships are processes consisting of interactive moments of value-creating activities, value is considered subjective, relative and dependent on the context in which the activity takes place. Value is therefore variable given its context and cannot be pre-defined without nuances being lost. Despite the Internet's given role in societal development, our understanding of what contributes to customers' intentions to build relationships with online services is yet to mature.As the music industry is well established on the Internet, alongside the change in how music is consumed, it is thus appropriate to examine activities in accordance with a freemium based service that distributes music online, since it still lacks in academic understanding.This study aims to provide insights about virtual relations and how online services that provide cultural content should relate to there users as well as contributing to the ongoing academic discussion regarding value and how it is manifested by highlighting contextual impact on relational activities. For a rapprochement of relations to online services in cultural industries, this study assumed a practice perspective.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur några pedagoger i olika skolor uppfattar sin professionalitet när det gäller att samtala med föräldrar och elever vid eventuella samtal som upplevs som svåra. I vår studie har vi intervjuat sex stycken pedagoger på tre olika skolor i Stockholms län. De pedagoger vi valt att intervjua är en rektor, en specialpedagog, en kurator och tre lärare i de lägre åldrarna. Vi kommer förutom dessa sex pedagoger även genomföra en försöksintervju med en lärare. Studien utgår från ett interaktionistiskt perspektiv och bygger på teorier från Vygotskij, Bronfenbrenner och Mead.

There are around 855 000 on-site sewage systems in Sweden and some 1 800 of these are located in the municipality of Sigtuna. The Sigtuna local authority has set the goal that all sewage systems with insufficient function should be improved before the end of year 2010. A malfunctioning on-site sewage system may cause three main problems: spreading of diseases, discharge of eutrophicating compounds and wastage of resources. The municipality strives to reduce these problems already at the stage of granting permits for installation of on site sanitation systems. The municipality has recently adopted new guidelines, which demands certain minimum reductions for different compounds. The guidelines also state that it is preferred that neighboring house-owners cooperate in jointly built and operated sewage systems and that the system should be able to recycle plant nutrients.

Mitt projekt är en urban strategi för Uddevalla, som är en stad med väldigt dålig självbild. Jag kallar projektet: ?Vision för aktivering av Uddevalla centrum?. Projektet handlar om att ge de de offentliga rummen i stadskärnan ett värde som inte bara handlar om kommersiell handel utan också om interaktion och utbyte mellan människor. Mitt fokus är Uddevallas centrala årum, som är ett outnyttjat område med stor potential.En del av strategin innebär att jag tar utgångspunkt i Uddevallas planerade satsning på ett kulturhus.

For many providers of ERP-system, Poland is one of the most valuable markets in Central andEastern Europe. The Polish market for ERP-systems is still a growing market, especially; wecan see the low utilization of ERP-systems among small and medium-sized enterprises. Thisis due to several factors, primarily the cost of implementing the system and the necessary infrastructure.Subsequently due to the lack of knowledge, where there is no sufficientknowledge of the benefits arising from the use of an ERP-system in their business, and thereis a fear within the companies that its business would start stagnating.This paper investigates the implementation process of a Polish consulting company whichworks towards small and medium-sized businesses. The key success factors will be studied inthe implementation of ERP-systems, and the instance factors of the interrelationship betweenthe consultant and client from a consultant perspective. The review of the literature has beenidentified and discussed in relevance to the empirical study.

Executive summary This master thesis was originally based on a specific assignment given to the authors from ABB Full Service, a unit specializing in providing maintenance outsourcing: ?How can ABB Full Service expand its offering of providing fundamental maintenance by seamlessly incorporating the business concept with competencies and solutions from other ABB divisions?? The academic issue was developed throughout the thesis, resulting in the following formulation: ?From an organizational perspective; how can service providers bring continuous added value to intra-organizational outsourcing partnerships?? Many of the key findings of this thesis are reflected in the issue. The term intra-organizational outsourcing is a proposed addition to the terminology in the academic discourse on outsourcing. The definition of the term is: ? Where an organization outsources a business process interlinked with the physical operations, requiring the service provider to take over a preexisting unit and its employees.This is an accurate description of the form of outsourcing that ABB Full Service is engaged in.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att studera den fysiska aktiviteten i idrott och hälsa på gymnasiesärskolan ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv samt analysera faktorer som kan hindra respektive främja fysisk aktivitet. Följande frågeställningar utgår studien ifrån: Hur uppfattar lärarna elevernas fysiska aktivitet? Vilken form av stöd och resurser använder lärarna för att främja elevernas fysiska aktivitet? Hur upplever lärarna elevernas sociala samspel?  MetodStudien utgår från sex kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer av lärare inom idrott och hälsa verksamma på gymnasiesärskolor i Mellansverige. Samtliga intervjuer har spelats in på diktafon, transkriberats samt bearbetats tematiskt. Empirin har delats in i meningsfulla teman och har analyserats från tre aspekter inom det sociokulturella perspektivet; scaffolding, mediators och shared activity.

In Automatic Milking Systems (AMS), cows are kept in a free stall barn equipped with one or several milking units (MU). The cows? activities in the system are called cow traffic. There are three types of cow traffic systems: guided, partly-guided and free. Free systems have no gates, allowing the cows access to the feeding and resting areas at any time.

The project seeks to defend the gaps that occur in time and space and encourages the reader to care about the interruptions of the routine-like and planned, whilst also opening up a discussion about interaction and participation. Mind the gap is a project about the many opportunities the public space has in the contemporary city. What you have in front of you is the result of this project. As society constantly changes, new and different needs arise in the city and it is necessary that architects and planners understand and adapt to these changes. They have to be able to develop new ways of thinking and to challenge established perceptions of what the public space is and should be. This means being able to see that the public space could be different and to recognize the potentials for it to change. This project examines the underlying ideals of urbanism and investigates the potentials of the City when shaped by these ideals.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka några lärare, lärarstudenter och elevers erfarenheter av samt attityder till faktionstexternas roll i skolan. Detta undersöktes genom halvstrukturerade intervjuer med fyra verksamma grundskolelärare, två lärarstudenter, som har läst svenska minst två år, och genom en gruppintervju med fem gymnasieelever. En enkät användes i urvalssyfte samt som grund för den följande diskussionen. En inventering av skolbiblioteket samt svenskämnesinstitutionen på den skola där de medverkande lärarna arbetar har även genomförts. Resultatet visar att lärarna och lärarstudenterna anser att faktionstexter är intressanta både innehålls- och formmässigt, men att de används alltför sällan i klassrummet.

Luleå stad flyttade från Gammelstad in till Norra hamn under 1600-talet just på grund av stadens behov av en hamn. Området fungerade länge som ett livligt handelscentra i staden med en omfattande hamnverksamhet. Järnmalmsindustrins stora expansionsplaner med ett nytt stålverk i Luleå ställde krav på vägnätets framkomlighet och många av stadens trafikleder dimensionerades efter stora trafikmängder, däribland vägarna runt Norra hamnområdet. Planerna för det nya stålverk -80 lades ned och den ökade trafikmängden uteblev, kvar fanns däremot de stora trafikrummen. På grund av detta har områdets aktivitet decimerats till att idag främst fungera som ett av Luleås största transportstråk för fordonstrafik.
