This work studied the information flow and information handling among different parties. The study focused on how educational materials on national tests from The Swedish National Agency for Education is managed by school principals and teachers and how the information is passed on to students. The data material was based on observations and interviews at two different high schools. Six teachers and their classes and principals participated in the study. The Agency was also interviewed.

This essay seeks to analyze the consequences of modern information and communication technology for collective action within the framework of social movements. With references to the protests in Seattle 1999, the essay argues that the emergence of distributed collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet. This distributed collective action can be characterized by its decentralized and self-organizing features, forming a global pattern emerging from local interactions. Whereas contemporary theories of collective action can be ´stretched´ to fit these aspects, they lack analytical tools to describe and analyze such systems. Further, their rejection of classical crowd theory is problematic, since it contains valuable insights.

Människor upplever ånger dagligen, och beroende på vilka beslut som fattas kan vissa beslut ångras mer än andra. Därför undersöktes skillnader i typer av ånger med hjälp av webbenkäter som delades via Facebooks PM funktion. 80 deltagare ingick där de fick beskriva två saker som de ångrade mest att de hade gjort samt två saker som de ångrade mest att de inte hade gjort. Dessa skattades sedan på hur mycket de ångrade det samt hur pass viktigt/allvarligt de upplevde det. En signifikant skillnad upptäcktes där saker som de ångrade att de inte hade gjort skattades som viktigare/allvarligare än det som de ångrade att de hade gjort.

Anledningen till att författarna gjorde denna studie var att bröstcancer är en av de vanligaste cancertyperna som drabbar kvinnor. Diagnosen innebär för de flesta kvinnor att hela eller delar av bröstet opereras bort. För många kvinnor representerar bröstet sexualitet och kvinnlighet. Syftet var att beskriva hur kvinnors sexualitet och sexuella relation förändras efter genomgången kirurgisk bröstcanceroperation och efterföljande behandling. Metoden var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie.

The law which makes the purchase, or the attempt to purchase, temporary sexual services a criminal offence has been implemented in Sweden for more than six years. It appears as if very few, possibly no, sex-selling women have used the law to report men who have bought their services during these years. How can this be understood? With this thesis I suggest a new way of thinking on agency. A way which questions the traditional view on action whereby agency equals to act in certain, predefined ways.

The aim of this study was to develop a simple model for calculating stock costs for bio fuel at Billerud Karlsborg and subsequently recommending a suitable stock level of bio fuel. The stock components considered in the model are GROT (branches and tops), bark, dry wood chips, raw wood chips from barking and sawdust. The calculations are based on a probability distribution of historical deviations between ordered and delivered volumes. The model presents two different ways to manage the supply in case of irregular deliveries. The first way is to stock enough volume to cover the deviations and the second way is to compensate with a quick purchase from the spot market (at extra high purchase prices).

Dagens samhälle blir alltmer mångspråkigt. Ungdomar från olika delar av världen och med olika bakgrund och språk samlas inom en och samma sociala praktik för att lära, i skolan. De nyanlända eleverna hamnar i olika stadsdelar och börjar integrera sig i olika sociala praktiker, vilket ger upphov till att eleverna utvecklar olika erfarenheter och även att de utvecklas olika språkligt. Hur påverkar olika sociala praktiker elevernas andraspråksutveckling? Varför är språkinlärningen så varierad hos olika elever? Jag har valt att utgå från sådana frågor i min studie och förankrar dem i ett sociokulturellt andraspråksperspektiv.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur homosexuella män konstruerar föräldraskap i ett samhälle dominerat av en heteronormativ diskurs. Genom att presentera icke normativa familjeberättelser hoppas vi kunna öka handlingsutrymmet och antalet möjliga positioner för föräldrar oberoende av kön och sexuell orientering.Frågeställningarna är:Hur konstruerar homosexuella män föräldraskap i förhållande till diskursen om moderskap och diskursen om faderskap? Hur förhåller sig homosexuella män till normer om familjebildning? Vilken betydelse har sexuell orientering för homosexuella mäns föräldraskap? Uppsatsens teoretiska grund utgörs av ett konstruktivistiskt perspektiv. Studiens teoretiska ram utgörs av diskursteori och queerteori med utgångspunkt i Judith Butlers heterosexuella matris. Det empiriska materialet består av sju semistrukturerade intervjuer med åtta homosexuella fäder.

Sammanfattning:Genom en intervjustudie med tre personer som arbetar med sex- ochsamlevnadsundervisning på särskolan undersöks och analyseras diskurser om intellektuellfunktionsförmåga och intellektuell funktionsnedsättning i relation till sexualitet och kön.Studien försöker svara på hur dessa kategorier står i relation till varandra och hur dekan förstås som samkonstruera(n)de. Vidare undersöks diskurserna i relation till hurföreställningarna om intellektuell funktionsförmåga, kön och sexualitet påverkarmöjlighet till subjektivitet för personer med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar ochvilka subjektspositioner som o/möjliggörs för dem.I en diskurs om intellektuell funktionsförmåga som en linjär utveckling sågs hurförmågan att fatta egna beslut nedsattes just genom omgivningens förväntan på en sådanoförmåga hos personer med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar. Detta fickkonsekvenser för personernas sexualitet och även möjlighet att forma en känsla av etteget själv. Diskursen omöjliggjorde subjektspositioner som vuxen, förälder och ävenhandlande sexuella subjekt. Dock visade informanterna på motstrategier hos eleverna.I en diskurs om utsatthet bekräftades bilden av personer med intellektuellafunktionsnedsättningar som sexuellt utsatta, även om skillnader mellan könen blev tydliganär maktordningar om kön och funktionsförmåga samkonstruerades.Genom att förstå elevernas intellektuella funktionsförmåga som ett görande snarareän ett varande kunde informanterna närma sig svårigheter som benämnandet innebar förde elever som inte själva såg sig som tillhörande kategorin.

Cattle production systems are changing to bigger intensified systems with larger numbers of animals per farm and more free range systems while at the same time employing fewer people. Aversive handling has been known to affect cattle production negatively for many years, but lately scientists have started to focus more on what positive effects gentle handling and positive human-cattle interactions may have on beef and dairy production. Fear can cause high stress in production animals and this can contribute to not only reduced production within beef and dairy cattle, but also increased risks for accidents and decreased animal welfare. Therefore, by reducing the fear cattle experience of humans, it could be possible to increase production, decrease accidents and increase the welfare of the animals. Reducing the animals fear and stress can be done by simple means, such as walking and talking calmly around the cattle, associating humans to positive feelings (such as feed) and stroking the cattle?s body regions associated with social grooming.

Motivation är en kraft som driver oss framåt mot ett mål. För att komma fram till målet, krävs det energi, ofta i form av rörelse, som leder till handling. Personer med funktionsnedsättning i någon form, kan ha svårighet att hitta den rätta energin. Med stöd av Funktionsinriktad Musikterapi ? FMT, finns möjlighet att locka fram spontana handlingar som leder till ökad helhetsutveckling hos individen.Under min utbildning till FMT-terapeut vid Musikhögskolan Ingesund i Arvika, som tillhör Karlstads universitet, har jag haft praktik med två barn med diagnosen autism och intellektuell funktionsnedsättning.

This master thesis is performed at Scania Axles and Gearboxes, a production plant located in Södertälje. Within the plant axles, gearboxes as well as central gears are assembled from components to finished products. All production is conducted on production lines, with a pre-determined rate, which is supplied with components by the material handling department. Since the production quantity and the mix of product variants produced on the production line is customer order-based, the number and type of components needed for production as well as appropriate staffing within the material handling department is difficult to predict. Scania is currently using a number of different resource planning tools for each material handling-department within Axles and Gearboxes to visualize the workload within the departments.

Uppsatsen avhandlar hur gymnasielärare sinsemellan konstruerar föreställningar om gymnasieelever som utsätts och utsätter andra elever för kränkningar av sexuell karaktär i sociala medier. Av detta syfte följer två frågeställningar: Vilka föreställningar om gymnasieelever som utsätts och utsätter andra elever för kränkningar i sociala medier ger gymnasielärarna uttryck för i relation till genusnormer? Hur förhåller sig dessa föreställningar till skolans ansvar att förhindra elever ifrån att utsättas för kränkande behandling?Nätkränkningar av sexuell karaktär mellan gymnasieelever avspeglar ofta normer kring ?normalt? respektive ?avvikande? beteende för flickor respektive pojkar. Därför applicerar uppsatsen ett genusteoretiskt perspektiv. Eftersom föreställningar om ?normalitet? och ?avvikelse? (åter)skapas i interaktion bygger uppsatsen på tre fokusgruppsintervjuer med vardera fyra gymnasielärare; en homogen mansgrupp, en homogen kvinnogrupp och en grupp med jämn könsfördelning.Empirin bearbetades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilken åskådliggjorde att samtliga deltagare är väl medvetna om sina juridiska möjligheter och förpliktelser att fördela ansvaret mellan lärare, rektor, kurator, polis och föräldrar.

AbstractSkanska Sweden has decided to split the organization that earlier handled both large and small projects into two different subsidiaries. A consequence of this is that all construction service handling will from now on be enforced under the name Skanska Direkt AB. The management of Skanska sees this as an opportunity to develop the organization and in the long term achieve higher earnings.   The task which Skanska in connection with the reorganization wanted to be investigated was a proposal on how the organization of work with the insurance work in the future should look like.The organization that is handled is from production manager to professional workers and includes damage handling that has been obtained from insurance companies in the southern and northern parts of Värmland. The purpose with this work is to present a different kind of view to the problem with developing this branch of the company. The main target was to work out a proposal of an organizational plan for the damage handling in Skanska Direkt AB that is possible to apply, less sensitive for dismissals, results in higher earnings, obtains higher customer satisfaction and also a staff stab that develops their skills at their own.The report and work progressed as following:Opening theory study of strategies to obtain the objectives set.Restructuring of existing organization with theories as support.Interviews with the actors involved to verify feasibility of the developed organization plan  Organization chart, the result of work means that some workers at each location shall be responsible for a small group of workers and work independently. They shall manage the process of invoicing and calculate costs at the same time as they work out on the workplace.
