In the paper three women with vulvar vestibulitis (long-term pain condition during sexual intercourse) were interviewed to find which conceptions the women experience exist about vestibulitis and how the women they self feel about the condition. Furthermore it was examined if and how the construction of vulvar vestibulitis affects the identity of the women. The method used was half-structured interviews with interview guide. Foucault's discourse analysis was used to analyse the interviews. Several constructions of vestibulitis were revealed from the interviews.

This master thesis aims to examine the process of indexing fiction when it comes to area of Sexuality and gender identity. The empiric work that forms the basis of the thesis are three investigations:(a) examining the current status of indexing fiction within the catalogues of six Swedish medium-sized libraries;(b) interviewing librarians who allocate the subject headings; and(c) an analysis of the Swedish subject heading system Att indexera skönlitteratur.This will be concluded with an analysis of the gathered material through queer theoretic standpoint with the help of critical classification and its inclusion through separation, and marginalization where subjects that differs from the norm is included but only by being separated from the norm, or ignored totally. This will show that there are similarities with how different groups get treated within the classification systems and how they are treated in subject heading indexing. An example of this in Att indexera skönlitteratur is that heteroSexuality never is mentioned in the subject heading but is always present as the silent norm, while gender identity is marginalized through exclusion of the subject heading, and related words are instead being included under sexual identity..

Title: "In the verdict, reality is reconstructed" - a documentary study of how sex is reproduced in verdicts of LVU-cases.The aim in our study is to see how existing circumstances revolving power between the gender, are contained in court, through language and differences in the sentences and expressions that are used in the verdicts. In this study we have reviewed verdicts about young people who are taken in to custody care by Lag (1990:52) med särskilda bestämmelser om vård av unga.We have reviewed verdicts from the county administrative court in Kalmar, from January in 2007 to October in 2008. Through the analysis we have taken into considerations and worked with earlier research and litterateur containing different theoretical approaches to feminism.The result of the study shows, that despite of a neutral law, girls and boys, women and men are judged and treated different, because of their sex. Depending on your sex, you are expected to behave according to norms and values. These norms and values are not the same for girls and boys.

Vår uppsats handlar om tre pedagogers arbetssätt att integrera drama och teater i skolundervisningen. Vi har tagit reda på hur lärare och drama-/teaterpedagoger arbetar och till viss del hur det påverkar eleverna. Vi har intervjuat en lärare i grundskolan som arbetar med att integrera drama i sin svenskundervisning, en drama-/teaterpedagog som hjälper lärare med att integrera drama och teater i sin undervisning och en kulturpedagog som arbetar med olika estetiska processer integrerat med annan undervisning i för- och grundskolan. Utifrån dessa intervjuer har vi analyserat resultatet och jämfört det med tidigare forskning inom området.Vi märkte att de tre pedagogerna hade ganska olika arbetssätt. Läraren arbetar med drama för att underlätta sin undervisning i svenska som andra språk, drama-/teaterpedagogen samarbetar med lärare för att utveckla dramaövningar i relation med läroplanen och kulturpedagogen har teater som hjälpmedel, då detta främjar bland annat gruppdynamiken.Deras förhållningssätt till ämnesintegrering är i grunden lika.

The aim of this paper is to analyse how subject, gender and Sexuality is constructed in the book Dårfinkar & dönickar (1984), by Ulf Stark. In relation to this I have also analysed how the main character, Simone, develops from being a child into becoming a teenager.Queertheory is the theoretical basis of this paper. Queer theory questions heteronormativity and aims to dissolve conceptions and notions that function in an excluding and limiting way. Queer theory also questions conceptions that seem obvious and/or natural, for example ?woman?/?man? and ?homo-/heteroSexuality?.I have chosen to focus the analysis on a number key events in the book and they are categorised according to Tiina Rosenberg`s three dramaturgic concepts: transformation, unveiling and restoration.

The current paper is a study of the character Christian Grey in the EL James trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey. The main aim is to find out how masculinity, Sexuality and gender are constructed in this erotic fantasy. More over terms as femininity, unmanliness and gender have relevance to the study. Several studies have been done on romance novels and Harlequin in particular from a gender perspective, but few of them from a masculine point of view. Hence, no earlier study has been done on Fifty Shades of Grey with masculinity studies as the main tool of masculinity, or with theories of romance.

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of being a homosexual immigrant in the Swedish society. Our questions were how the interviewed homosexual immigrants experience being treated by the people in their surroundings and how they are influenced by their attitudes. We also wanted to know what kind of thoughts they have about affiliation considering origin and Sexuality, and what positive and negative aspects they experience from the combination of being both homosexual and immigrants.To get the answers to these questions we used a qualitative method and interviewed seven homosexual immigrants between the ages of 25 and 40 years. We then compared our material with earlier studies of the living situation of homosexual immigrants in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. We also linked our findings to Goffman's stigma theory and to heteronormativity.The main result was that the combination of homoSexuality and immigrantness can result in various difficulties.

The aim with this study was to examine how social service statement in 3 § social-judgements LVU (Swedish care of young persons act) produce ideas about gender. We have taken an interest in the production of both boys and girls and their mothers and fathers because there are clear differences in the description of these. From a historical perspective, the differences between gender in social assessments occurred despite the fact that discrimination is prohibited by law and despite the fact that social service shall work on the basis of an gender equality perspective. In the analysis and interpretation of the rulings we have been inspired by a critical discourse analysis. 30 social-judgements have been analyzed where of 15 concerns girls and 15 involve boys.

This thesis discusses how a historic woman is represented on stage today. The woman in mind is Sabina Spielrein, and she is portrayed in a play called: Name: Spielrein Sabina. She was born in the late 19th century and made a significant impact on the development in psycho-analysis. Since her letters, diaries and fragments was found 1977, and later on in 1982, nu-merous of people have been fascinated regarding her life, especially with her relation to Jung and Freud. One of my arguments is that there could be another story to tell, as she is living in a context when women were organized and struggled for their rights on many levels.

Relationer och sexualitet utgör grundläggande behov för alla människor men detta är något som ofta förbises av omgivningen när det gäller funktionsnedsatta personer. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur Örebro kommuns ROS- policy för bemötande av brukares känslor, relationer och sexualitet tillämpas i dagliga arbetet på boenden med särskild service inom förvaltningen för funktionshindrade. Studien har haft följande frågeställningar: hur följer medarbetarna ROS- policyn, på vilket sätt kan medarbetarnas förhållningssätt påverka brukarnas möjligheter till relationer och privatliv. För att få svar på forskningsfrågorna användes kvalitativa intervjuer, för att generera uttömmande och detaljerade svar. Intervjuer genomfördes med elva enskilda medarbetare, vilka valts ut genom målinriktat urval via en pedagogisk verksamhetsutvecklare.

Studiens huvudsakliga syfte är att ur ett normkritiskt perspektiv analysera grundlärares utsagor om sex- och samlevnadsundervisning inom religionskunskapsämnet. För att fylla detta syfte har studien sökt ta reda på hur de intervjuade lärarna genomför sin undervisning om sex och samlevnad inom religionskunskapsämnet, samt vilken roll de ger undervisningsområdet, beträffande vilket utrymme de ger sex och samlevnad i sin religionskunskapsundervisning och vad de anser vara sex- och samlevnadsundervisningens syfte. Studien baseras på enskilda intervjuer med fyra lärare som undervisar i religionskunskap grundskolans årskurser 4-6. Studien visar att samtliga av lärarna som deltar i hög grad är medvetna om risken att deras sex- och samlevnadsundervisning är heteronormativ. De har alla också en uttalad ambition att försöka motverka att deras sex- och samlevadsundervisning blir alltför heteronormativ, emellertid saknar de specifik utbildning i att hantera sex- och samlevnadsfrågor.

Sexualitet är en väsentlig del av människans hälsa och något som alla har rätt till oavsett ålder. Att tala om sexualitet med äldre människor upplevs ofta hos vårdpersonal som obekvämt och tabubelagt. Med ökad ålder kommer naturligt sjukdomar och åldersförändringar som kan påverka sexualiteten. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa äldre personers upplevelse av sexualitet. Studien baserar sig på 14 kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar och utfördes efter induktiv ansats.

This thesis is based on qualitative text analyses of four works of fiction, used as teaching materials in the school subject of Swedish, from a queer theoretic perspective. The purpose of the study is to examine how sexual identities and expressions are being presented, as well as what positions are offered a reader, in relation to the heterosexual norm. Basis for this thesis are the schools fundamental values, which highlights the importance that intolerance be confronted through both knowledge and active measures, and the syllabus, which states that fiction should be viewed as a tool for identity development as well as an understanding of the outside world.The analyses reveals a distinct connection between the generally accepted heterosexual norm and a professed (or taken for granted) heteroSexuality which is being carried out by the characters or the books as a whole. Out of the four titles only one disputes this norm, by offering a wide range of sexual identities and expressions. These expressions, however, are being invalidated ? through insufficient ability to relate to the norm ? or made invisible ? through an imagined heteroSexuality which, by superiority over other expressions, excludes them..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka sexuella relationer och mötet mellan man och kvinna i Charles Bukowskis författarskap med fokus på den självbiografiske protagonisten Henry Chinaski i romanerna Postverket och Kvinnor. I analysen undersöker uppsatsen tre aspekter av mötet mellan man och kvinna: Det initierande mötet, det fysiska mötet och vad vi kallar kärlek.
