The climate crisis represents a serious threat to both people and nature and it will exacerbate existing inequalities, especially for women and girls who are most at risk yet have contributed least to the problem. Climate adaptation is critical to addressing the challenges of climate change, and it requires integrating a gender perspective to take into account the specific vulnerabilities faced by women and girls, as highlighted in the Paris Agreement. This study examines the implementation of gender perspectives in Swedish governmental climate change adaptation strategies. By applying a qualitative content analysis to 24 government agencies? action plans, the study investigates how gender equality is addressed in the context of climate change adaptation.

A Study of the Swedish Press Views on the Health Insurance Reform in the USA? The purpose of this essay is partly to examine whether the picture that Swedish press presents of the health insurance reform in the US, which is part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Act bill, will be of crucial importance to the possibilities that the American population has to receive health insurance. The main research question is accordingly: ?Does the picture that Swedish press presents of the health insurance reform in the USA, seem like something that will be of radical importance to the possibilities of the population to receive healthcare?? The purpose is also to examine in which model (demand or market) the opinions of the Swedish press fits. This purpose will be answered by using three specific questions asking whether their opinions differ when it comes to three criterions: organization, financing/resources and delivery systems.

In the forest sector, non-industrial private forest (NIPF) owners commonly interact with numerous stakeholders (e.g. forest managers, timber buyers, harvesting contractors and advisors) for counseling, planning, selling and hiring. Forest management is therefore built and influenced by the relationships between NIPF owners and other stakeholders. In the local context of a Southern Sweden, the Swedish Forest Agency (SFA) and the Southern Forest Owners Association (SÖDRA) are very influential stakeholders in small-scale forest management. Based on qualitative interviews and by means of grounded theory, an analysis of the relationships between NIPF owners and the mentioned organizations was carried out in order to understand the social context at the genesis of forest management decisions.

Idag domineras den svenska skogsbranschen av manlig arbetskraft. Det uttrycker sig extra tydligt i ledningsgrupperna där andelen kvinnor är ännu lägre. Däremot ser man en uppåtgående trend gällande kvinnor som anställs till personalledande positioner. Syftet med studien är att undersöka tankar och åsikter hos chefer med personalansvar angående en jämnare könsfördelning, med hänsyn till olika mål och andra påverkande faktorer vid rekrytering på Norra Skogsägarna. Studien baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer genom fysiskt möte med sju respondenter från Norra Skogsägarnas alla fyra industrier samt huvudkontor. Alla personer som intervjuades har personalansvar. De intervjuade har en positiv syn på mål kopplade till jämställdhet vid rekrytering. Den positiva synen gäller både det egna företagets och branschorganisationen Skogsindustriernas uppsatta mål inom detta område.

Scientists and educational psychologists research have seen on self-regulated learning as learningconstruction. Every scientists have developed their own terms and concepts in the events of explaining how self-regulation affects students learning-process. Keyprocesses in previous studies is the importance of the active choice, to be goal-oriented,and awareness is what students need to self-regulate their own learning. The purpose of this study is to examine how students use different educational learning strategies based on the principles for self-regulated learning (SRL). From the process of the previous research, different concepts and terms have been divided into three key concepts titled:Active choices and actions, Goal-orientation and goal Setting, as well as consciousness and self-awareness.

Vårt syfte var att studera begreppet interkulturellt förhållningssätt och undersöka hur det uppfattas av olika aktörer i förskoleverksamheten i den mångkulturella Stockholmsförorten Vantör. Vi har utgått från ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv, och utifrån detta tittat på fyra olika delar som vi anser vara viktiga för ett interkulturellt förhållningssätt. De fyra vi valt att titta på är, fysisk och psykisk miljö, språk, barns identitet och föräldrar. Vi har även gjort en kvalitativ undersökning, där vi har intervjuat människor med olika roller i förskoleverksamheten i Vantör. Vi ville höra deras tolkning av begreppet interkulturellt förhållningssätt, och vad de ansåg var viktigt för att få detta att fungera.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur Jan Firbas (1992)variant av Pragskolan, också känd som functional sentence perspective(funktionellt satsperspektiv, FSP), kan användas vid en analys avtextbindning. Tanken med att applicera Firbas, som huvudsakligen harsatsen som största analysenhet, på en text, är att därigenom kunna påvisaett formellt samband mellan sats- och textnivå.I kapitel 4 och 5 presenteras Firbas teori genom en praktisk steg-försteg-analys av en text. Syftet med detta är, förutom att presentera Firbas,också att visa hur jag praktiskt gått tillväga vid analysen av de feminledande styckena i August Strindbergs Röda Rummet, som legat tillgrund för resultaten och diskussionen i kapitel 6 respektive 7.Analysmetoden som visas i kapitel 5 på ett kortare textstycke är alltsåsamma metod jag använt mig av i analysen av Röda Rummet. Någracentrala begrepp är distributionsfält, dynamiska semantiska funktioner,kommunikativ dynamism, tema, transition och rema.I avsnitt 5.4. tar jag även upp ett problem som teorin har med attskilja mellan de dynamiska semantiska funktionerna Setting ochSpecifikation, ett fenomen som av Firbas kallas potentialitet.

This thesis project has been written and accomplished in cooperation with HABO AB. The objective of the project was to develop a standard stated packaging system. The background to this is that HABO is not pleased with the system currently in use. The system which HABO is currently using consists of to many sizes. The largest benefit of a standard stated system is that it becomes much easier to organize the packaging with the aid of a computer program.

Russian comfrey, Symphytum x uplandicum, was tested as a plant nutrient source in a trial with tomatoes. Comfrey liquid was produced by Stiftelsen Holma i Höör. Tomato plants of the cultivar Aromata planted in a medium of soil:peat (1:1) enriched with organic nutrients and lime, were fed with comfrey liquid plus Biofer, in three different concentrations. Two different concentrations of BioRika were used as comparison, along with an unfertilized control group. In the comfrey treatment I a total amont of 1g N, 0,23 g P, 0,84 g K, was given to the tomatoes.

Det finns ytterst få beskrivningar av kvinnliga musiker och deras musicerande genom historien. I dag syns fler kvinnor på musikfältet, men männen dominerar fortfarande musikmedierna i stort, både vad gäller artister och journalister. Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på hur ofta och hur mycket kvinnliga respektive manliga artister syns i musiktidningarna Sonic och Lira musikmagasin, i radioprogrammet Mitt i musiken och i tv-programmet PSL- på festival. Vidare vill jag undersöka hur många av texterna och inslagen som är gjorda av kvinnliga respektive manliga journalister. Med hjälp av dessa två representationsstudier undersöker jag sedan om det finns ett samband mellan artisternas kön och journalisternas kön.

No one believes in Åkesson - a comparative study on the evening press and the publicservice reporting on the Swedish Democrats before the 2014 election.The purpose of this essay was to study how Aftonbladet and Ekot reports about the SwedishDemocrats before the election 2014, as well as comparing the two medias and reasoningabout their agendas towards the party. The tabloid, Aftonbladet, is one of the biggestnewspapers in Sweden, which depends on counter sales and commercials. Ekot, which is apart of public service, is state-funded and regulated by certain guidelines. Using aquantitative method we studied 80 articles, and through a qualitative method, six of thearticles were analyzed to reach a deeper understanding. The theories primary used in thisstudy were agenda-Setting and framing, to stress the power of media.

The reason for the study was to look deeper into employees? motivational factors, this with a focus on salary as motivational factor in structures of salary boxes where it is possible for the employee to work towards goals which affect their salary. The primary purpose of the study was to look into if employees? ability to advance their performance had any connection to the impostion of salary boxes.Methodology: In order to collect as much data as possible for the measurements one of the largest occupational groups in Uppsala municipality was chosen, which represents the group of pre-school teachers.

Partille municipality is planning an extension of the building Forellen. Green environments in health care have been shown to improve the health of patients, especially in elderly care. This report addresses the possibility of using the leftover space in close connection to a dementia and short-term accommodation to a winter garden and a terrace. The report also analyzes the impact of these green spaces on the residents.The purpose is to find alternative answers on the issue through the study of nursing homes and green spaces, and that these may be useful for Partille municipality and inspiration for future projects. The goal is to get conclusions in to a report, drawings, and an oral presentation.The results show that the design of environments can affect human well-being and also be healing both mentally and physically.

Literature and studies exist on how to create services in the best interest of the client or how these services have an impact on individuals. They are however mainly from a social work professional stand point and rarely from how clients would develop and create the services that can imply a life change for them. Especially when working with children under 18 years old issues of agency and age that can result in the disregard of the Convention on the Right of the Child (UNCRC). The target group of this study is therefore youth between the ages of 15 to 17 years old in three cities across Sweden to allow them to voice their opinion and experience of being in treatment. Resulting from that is the aim of this study ? to investigate how an intensive treatment method like Multisystemic Therapy is described from a client?s point of view.

Communication has become more and more important for authorities, there are several reasons for the use of communication and they may differ from authority to authority. Some authorities claim that the purpose of the communication work is to create awareness and recognition among citizens. A communication form that has become increasingly important for government agencies is social media, according to the government authorities should implement social media in their communication work because it is very important that the authorities are available where the citizens are. Previous research has focused on the risks and opportunities that the social media generates for the public sector.
