Emulering och simulering omfattar ett brett spektrum av varierande tekniker på olika nivåer, som involverar både mjuk-, och hårdvaruparadigm. Denna rapport är utformad utifrån ett arkitekturellt perspektiv och ämnar att återge en kortfattad studie av ämnen relaterade till design av en generell referensarkitektur för emulatorer.Särskilt fokus har lagts på sammansättningen av de olika komponenter som vanligtvis utgör en emulator, och dessa ställs sedan i jämförelse med den arkitektur, skapad av Von-Neumann, som idag används i den moderna datorn.Målet är att identifiera de mest lämpade arkitekturella strategierna för att kunna uppnå kvalitetskrav som flexibilitet, generalitet och funktionell lämplighet. Vid skapandet av en prototyp görs en avvägning mellan olika tekniker, vilket resulterar i en hybrid mellan tidskritiska och händelsedrivna paradigm. Vidare jämförs befintliga arkitekturer där modularitet mellan komponenter visar sig vara en återkommande egenskap inom samtliga designer.Det viktigaste resultatet vi kom fram till är att en tillståndsmaskin ofta har en betydande roll inom händelsedrivna system. För den prototyp som designats resulterade detta i en tillståndsmaskin med svagt kopplade deltillstånd som tillsammans leder till aktivering av olika huvudtillstånd, något som går i linje med icke-Von Neumann-alternativ..

Användarna erbjuds även egna gallerier och möjligheter att diskutera i forum samt privat meddelandefunktionalitet. Grundtanken är att Phos Graphis ska fungera som ett verktyg för att lättare kunna utvecklas inom sin roll..

Laser for material processing possesses a number of advantages which mean that it has been and will be an important component for a wide range of industries' future development. Cutting materials processing is the dominant use of laser technology and has revolutionized the manufacturing industry. The aim of this thesis is to describe the principles of metal cutting by laser, how laser cutting is applied in practice and to identify how Swedish companies are using laser cutting. For the theoretical and technical description of laser cutting literature studies are the primary source of information. The empirical basis for the mapping of the Swedish industry for laser cutting is grounded on a survey; this includes Swedish companies that use laser cutting in their production.

This is a bachelor thesis that studies and discuss the question: How can we develop our individual narrative technique with sound design in a Swedish drama production? We have done research and empirical studies. We have analyzed movies to get an idea how we use the sound design in Swedish drama productions today. Fast pyrolysis is a method for converting biomass into three energy rich products: char, gas and bio-oil, where the latter is most interesting.  Pyrolysis is an endothermic process where biomass is heated in an anaerobic environment and, with the right operating conditions, up to 80 %wt bio-oil can be extracted. Key parameters for fast pyrolysis are: stable reactor temperature (~500°C), short residue time for gas in the reactor (<2 s) and a very high heating rate for the biomass. Today there are several different process solutions for fast pyrolysis, where fluidized beds and rotating cones are most developed. Bio-oil has compared to fossil oil: lower heating value, low pH and also polymerizes with time. Because of this upgrading is desirable for increasing competitiveness.

This degree project has been performed with Mega Teknik AB in Landskrona. The project has resulted in a workplace for the cable installers of Mega Teknik. The workplace contains a workbench and a cart.The first stage in this project was to make an analysis of the current workplace to identify the needs the installers had.The different principle construction proposals of how the workbench would look like and which functions it would have was made during brainstorming, in groups and alone. These proposals were compared against each other using a functional analysis that has been put up to get the principle construction that fulfilled most points in this analysis.The proposal chose for further work was a cart and a bench with a module intends, the table got a formulation that creates a better reach for the installers.This proposal was generated in Catia V5 to get a better overview of the suggested proposal.During the primary structure phase drawings over all the products were made and the components were chosen. Calculations were made and the product got the dimension required.

Avsikten med denna studie var att undersöka vilka spår av teknikundervisning somfanns i grundskolans år ett till tre. Våra upplevelser var att lokala arbetsplaner ochmedvetet arbete inom teknikämnet saknades i år ett till tre, vilket vi ansåg försvåraelevernas chanser att uppnå målen för teknikämnet i slutet av år fem. Trots upplevelsenav att teknikämnet försummas, har vi ändå sett att lärare undervisar i teknik i år ett tilltre, dock omedvetet. Syftet blev därmed att studera teknikämnets förekomst och karaktärmer systematiskt och genom observation och analys kritiskt granska hur teknikämnetkom till uttryck i den vanliga undervisningen. Detta analyserades utifrån en kvalitativmetod med deltagande observationer och berättande observationsanteckningar sominsamlingsdata.

Feedback tools support electricity users within the Swedish residential sector to increase their knowledge of electricity and the electricity market as well as to become more aware of their electricity consumption, which in turn encourages a reduction and an increased flexibility of electricity use. The primary aim of this study is to identify and analyse how existing feedback tools can be improved, to ensure that they contribute efficiently to the achievement of the EU objectives congruent with a more sustainable energy system in 2030, emphasizing: greenhouse gas reduction, increased energy efficiency and an increased share of renewable energy. In order to reach the primary aim of this study, existing feedback tools have been identified and mapped and interviews with feedback tools providers have been conducted. The study is limited to three research areas: the practical functions of feedback tools, available technology and the use of feedback tools.The use of more efficient feedback tools will provide an increased success rate for energy management, which includes both behavioural changes and energy efficiency. According to the results from the interviews conducted for this study, an increased use and user frequency is important to utilise the energy management potential.

Sammanfattning Denna studie utreder om ett långsiktigt samband mellan oljepriset och valda aktieindex kan påvisas. Tre typer av aktieindex har valts, generalindex, industriindex och råvaruindex, för Sverige respektive Norge. För att undersöka det långsiktiga sambandet mellan oljepriset och aktieindex används kointegrations- och regressionsanalys. Studien visar att det bara förekommer ett långsiktigt samband mellan oljepriset och ett fåtal av aktieindexen. This study examines how gender is at work in four series of teaching material of Swedish in the years 7-9 of the Swedish primary school. Analyzing eight books in total, and also their respective teacher?s manuals, the study focuses on the following aspects in both texts and pictures within the books: heteronormativity, marginalization, stereotypes, equality, and also general gender related issues. Doing so, this study approaches the analyzed material with the eyes of a feminist critic. Moreover, this study applies both a qualitative and a quantitative analysis as its method of approach. Initially, the theoretical background and scientific method for this study is presented.

Occupational Health Service (OHS) has an important role in society. It is designed to prevent illness and strengthen the health of workers. OHS operations and development are currently being studied at the School of Technology and Health at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. One of the industries studied is the home maker service. During the 2010s were such employees one of the most ill groups in Sweden.This master's thesis in occupational environment development and change management focus on examining the special knowledge an OHS and its clients in one home maker service need to strengthen the workers of the industry and find out how the interaction between OHS and home maker service works and how it could be evolved.A qualitative study was conducted in a Swedish city on the basis of an organizational perspective.

Traditionally, rolling mills use emulsions based on a mixture of oil and water for lubrication. Since two years ago SAPA has been using (instead of oil) a synthetic lubricant so called conditional emulsion for hot-rolling of aluminum. This lubricant is water based and homogenous at ambient temperature, but switches to a two-phase system at heating above the cloud point.This project aims to validate and if necessary modify an existing HPLC method for quantifying two out of three key components (A, B and C) in the conditional emulsion. Attempts to develop a method to quantify the pH adjusting components, X and Y were also made. These two methods are required to optimize the lubricant.Due to the complexity of the components, it has been difficult to present a method for quantification, and HPLC with ELS detection was chosen after a long series of trials.

Digitization is a concept that has become popular in terms of collections of old heritage-related material such as books, photographs and paper documents. This work is a study of the Swedish composer Allan Pettersson (1911?1980) and his personal archive stored at Section for Manuscripts and Music at Uppsala University Library. My issues are What happens to the archive of the digitized? Will there be a "new" archive of the digitized? What guidelines are Uppsala University Library using for their digitizing and how do they look? What will be the result after digitization? What about copyright and the material? Allan Pettersson's personal papers consist a large collection of sketches of musical notes, newspaper clippings and concert programs.

Denna undersökning omfattar hur man kan applicera Pixars metoder och tekniker av en grupp bestående av tre studenter vid skapandet av en animerad kortfilm. Utifrån resultaten av vår forskning kring metoder, tekniker och analyser har vi skapat en animerad kortfilm. Kortfilmen är en samtida tolkning av Astrid Lindgrens kända barnbok Emil i Lönneberga. Filmen ämnar att belysa olika samhällsproblem som kan kopplas till den klassiska boken.
