En mätserie utfördes på en entreprenadmaskin där entreprenadmaskinen var en tandemvält. Data som spelades in på en DAT-bandspelare var motorns rotationsfrekvens, valsarnas vibrationer samt ljudfältet i kabinen. Den insamlade datamängden analyserades m.a.p dess spektra samt ljudnivåer. Vidare predikterades resultat till implementering av det adaptiva systemet ur dessa insamlade data. Viss laboration utfördes på en modell av det adaptiva systemet m.h.a insamlade data.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine if there where fallacies in the design solutions for the business system IFS Applications from a user perspective, and if so, correct these from a cognitive science approach.Data collection consisted of three main portions. These where; workshop, individual interviews and observations. The collected data was analyzed and resulted in identification of two main areas in the application that where found lacking.The result of the study showed that the usability for processing large amounts of data and the lack of customization where the main flaws in the application. Two low fidelity prototypes where created with the purpose of rectifying the underlying flawed design solutions that where identified from the collected data..

Syftet var att undersöka högkänslighet och stress hos studenter. Metoden var en kvantitativ jämförande studie mellan grupper (kvinnor och män). Undersökningen genomfördes genom en elektronisk enkät. Urvalet var ett tillfällighetsurval av kvinnor och män i åldrarna 19 ? 56 som studerade vid ett universitet, totalt 122 stycken deltagare, 31 män och 91 kvinnor.

The purpose of this study is to achieve an understanding of how a CE- marking process is conducted and to identify the relevant factors that must be considered in such a process. We have conducted our study at Lo?vhults Svets & Smide AB (Lo?vhults) in Skruv, Sma?land Sweden, which are manufacturing brackets for small covering constructions.To understand how a CE-marking process is conducted several documents and provisions have been reviewed to achieve a basic understanding and insight of the subject. It thus led to that guideline ETAG 015 were studied and the factors to be considered in the CE-marking of brackets were identified. Together with Jan-A?ke Johansson at Lo?vhults we agreed on four different brackets to investigate for a potential CE-marking.

The procurement has been termed ?Grundpaket Drift?, GPD, and comprises mostly operational measures for road networks.The clients of GPD, SRA regions, have gradually changed the original documentation in order to adapt it to local conditions. Examensarbetet som är utfört för SAS Flight Academy innebär att modernisera hanteringen av flygradiostationer för en flygsimulator från 1968. Detta görs med hjälp en PC som kopplas till det nuvarande datorsystemet med ett parallellkort. I PC:n finns en Microsoft Access databas där all data lagras om världens alla flygradiostationer. Informationen om flygradiostationerna finns lagrade på en CD-ROM som uppdateras ett antal gånger per år. Klienten till databasen är programmerad i Visual C++ och använder Microsofts programbibliotek MFC för hantering av databasen. Klienten har två uppgifter dels sköta hanteringen och dels uppdateringar av databasen.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate different methods do measure velocity of pistons in pneumatic cylinders at Bosch Rexroth Teknik AB. Through information of velocity the adjustment of a cylinders damping can be done easier.A future transducer will be used by salesmen, service personnel and customers. This requires a sensor that is easy to apply and use. It is also desirable that the sensor is cheap. A number of possible methods to measure velocity have been presented.

The objective of the essay has been the studying of the importance of religion for children. To answer and satisfy my objective, I have some questions: How do children talk about their own and others? religions? In what way do children associate themselves to religion? Which meaning does religion have for children?s identities? Which thoughts rise about religiontuition in the school?To answer the problem formulation, I have done a qualitative interview study with five children of different religious and cultural backgrounds in a Swedish communal school. The results showed that children?s thoughts about religion are mostly inherited from the parents.

In recent years, Lean has been implemented in a variety of companies with focus areas that differ from the conditions that characterizes manufacturing. In product development there is a negative view on standardized work, where the engineers state that the principle is not applicable for knowledge processes that include non-repetitive and creative work.In the framework of this master thesis literature has been studied to find support that standardized work is applicable for product development and areas that include knowledge processes.
