In this essay I analyze the way my collection of poetry relates to the concept cyclic. What is cyclic and what different interpretations are there concerning the concept? Which other related concepts are there regarding things that seem to reoccur regularly? How does the cyclical, the circular, relate to the linear in regard, for example, to the perception of time? Life often creates the sense that different phenomena and experiences repeat themselves. Different processes are conducted according to regular or irregular cyclical phases, situations seem familiar and events can be relived.         Starting from my writing project Sinnligt kviller, a collection of poems, I discuss these questions in themselves and the impact they have had on my collection. I describe the phenomenon cyclic as a result of the emotions and moods this term creates in a more or less decisive way.         The intention with this paper is to show how Sinnligt kviller offers different perspectives of and reflections upon the various feelings provoked by the cyclic in our lives, feelings that are given my own voice in the literary text under study..

ALS, Amyotrofisk lateralskleros är en dödlig neurodegenerativ sjukdom vilken drabbar de motroriska nervcellerna. Kroppen bryts successivt ned. Orsaken till sjukdomen är okänd och botemedel saknas. Sjuksköterskans roll är att lindra patientens besvär, ge god omvårdnad och stöd, för att underlätta patientens redan svåra situation. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur patienter med en diagnostiserad ALS upplever livskvalitet och hur de gör för att bevara denna.

In the present case, the conception of policy hitchhiking gets evaluated in terms of its implications for democracy. This task is executed through the accomplishment of a case study of the use of social- and environmental clauses in the Swedish competitive tendering.A useful definition of policy hitchhiking, including different types of actors, is created.Through the defining of democracy and policy hitchhiking, the author comes to the conclusion that policy hitchhiking in some respects does meet democracy values.The thesis? result can in some sense be regarded as a contribution to the pursuit of knowledge of how power is distributed in the society and how the current distribution can be explained and understood..

Ambulanssjuksköterskor är sårbara när det gäller både kortvarig och långvarig stress då de efter en traumatisk händelse ligger i riskzonen för att utveckla en akut stressreaktion. Stressreaktioner kan ses som en normal reaktion för den som varit med om en traumatisk upplevelse. Många har lärt sig att hantera detta i sin arbetsvardag, men för en del utvecklas denna stressreaktion till att bli långvarig. Det är betydelsefullt för ambulanssjuksköterskor att ha strategier för att kunna hantera upplevelsen efter traumatiska händelser och därmed kunna förebygga långvariga stressproblem. Vårt syfte var därför att undersöka hur ambulanssjuksköterskor hanterar upplevelsen efter en traumatisk händelse.

Bakgrund: Demenssjukdomar blir allt vanligare och en stigande ålder ökar risken för att få denna sjukdom. Att få en demenssjukdom innebär att språket, tankeförmågan liksom de kognitiva och intellektuella funktionerna är nedsatta. Målet i omvårdnaden är att vårdtagaren skall ha ett gott liv trots sjukdom. Vårdpersonalen upplever att de behöver mer kunskap för att ge personer med demenssjukdom en god omvårdnad. Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva hur vårdpersonalen upplever omvårdnaden av personer med demenssjukdom.

Marknadsföring utgör inte någon särskiljande effekt idag och konsumenter blir visuellt överstimulerade av alla olika reklambudskap. På grund av detta måste företag numera skapa en djupare och personligare kontakt för att nå ut till sina kunder. Genom att använda sig av emotionella inslag i en produkt gör det att kunden uppfattar produkten mer som en upplevelse istället för enbart dess funktion. Skapandet av en upplevelse sker genom att sätta människans fem sinnen i centrum. Genom att använda sig av flera sinnen kan även ett mervärde skapas, vilket gör att företag inte längre enbart kan koncentrera sig på kärnprodukten.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Uppsatsens syfte är att lyfta fram motståndsartikulationer i låttexter skrivna av aktiva all-trans/female-punkband. Frågeställningarna behandlar låttexternas teman, deras referenspunkter, bandens val av mottståndsstrategi och vart detta motstånd riktas.Teori: Huvudsakligen har motståndsforskarna Mona Lilja och Stellan Vinthagens bok Motstånd (2009) använts för att beskriva hur motstånd verkar i förhållande till makt. Judith Butlers Genustrubbel (2007) har använts för att exemplifiera makt- och motståndsverkan kopplat till kön.Metod: Låttexterna har analyserats kvalitativt och tolkats i relation till det omgivande samhällets maktstrukturer. På så sätt har tema och referenspunkter utlästs. Hur motståndet artikuleras i låttexterna har sedan beskrivits med hjälp av uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkter.Resultat: Det har funnits ett stort omfång av motståndsartikulationer i alla nio låttexter.

Teachers and special education teachers play a vital role in the creation of a study environment that fosters productivity in students. The current study aims to further expand the knowledge regarding teacher?s perception of common work with developing an optimal study environment within the classroom and the educational institution. In order to achieve this, qualitative interviews have been performed and study results analyzed according Nilholm´s model of the three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective.The study results show that the concept of order and study environment is not clearly defined among the interviewees. However, the concept appears to presuppose the teacher?s responsibility to create the sense of security and effective study environment to those students who express the wish to educate themselves (Children make the things right only if they have been shown the correct way to do it).

This essay in Art History treats the former Central Post Office in Gothenburg, Sweden, and its recent transformation into a luxury hotel. The magnificent original building in neo-classical style, inaugurated in 1925, has been supplemented by a twelve stories high tower in postmodern style containing hotel rooms and suites, creating a complex architecture. The approach of this essay is that of ?lived architecture?, that is, how people experience and act in relation to the building. It is argued that the history of the building is rewritten in the marketing of the hotel and the management?s concept of creating a comfortable ?mini-world?for its guests.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att genom litteraturen redogöra för cancersjuka ungdomars livskvalitet och hur de hanterar sin sjukdom. Denna studie är en beskrivande litteraturstudie där författarna sökte vetenskapliga artiklar på Medline, Cinahl, SweMed+ och PsykInfo. I resultatet redovisas femton artiklar. Resultatet visade att socialt stöd i form av föräldrar och en speciell vän visade ha stor betydelse för ungdomarnas välmående. Ungdomarna beskrev också att det kändes bra att prata med andra ungdomar i samma situation.

The purpose of this thesis was to design an electrical system for use in a ballistic test at the Swedish National laboratory of forensic science (SKL). The detector unit would use four main parts: coilsystem, transmitter, reciever and indicator. The coilsystem would be based on a balanced system using three coils. One that creates a magneticfield and the other two will sense the differences when a metallobject is in the coilsystem. This report starts out by investigating possible solutions for this specific task followed by a description of the physics that the metaldetector use.

This study aims to explore purposes of daily workshops for persons with disabilities. The method used was qualitative interviews. An inductive research strategy was used. Half-structured interviews with six managers of daily workshops were carried out, wherein they expressed their intentions with the daily workshops and the reasons for people to participate. The interviews were analysed with Antonovsky´s salutogenetic perspective, in which Sense of Coherence, SOC is a main concept, and with the normalisation principle.

AbstractThe purpose of this article was to examine how students learn French by integrating a multimode way of learning through literature, music, poetry, painting, reading, writing and IT in the classroom, in order to create understanding and motivation regarding the subject, but also a sense of cooperation and sensibility toward each one of the students Individual work. In the study of Victor Hugo?s novel Les Misérables as a tool for learning and deepen understanding about human values, the focus was laid on essentials questions such as the question of good and evil which is the major theme presented in the novel. The results showed that the students developed a vast interest in literature and human condition and made progress in French in both oral and written work but also acquired more knowledge about the French history..

Emotikoner är ett vanligt inslag vid datormedierad kommunikation, såsom på den sociala nätverkstjänsten Twitter. Emotikoner tycks ha en vedertagen roll som känslomarkörer i en text, men forskning har visat att de även har andra funktioner av mer pragmatisk art. En mer nyanserad bild av emotikoners funktioner på Twitter kan öka förståelsen av hur de ska tolkas i texter och stödja utvecklingen av automatiska textanalyser där emotikoner förekommer. Då funktionerna hos emotikoner ur ett pragmatiskt perspektiv tidigare har studerats främst inom ramen för andra språk och kommunikationskanaler bidrar denna studie med en analys av kommunikativa funktioner hos emotikoner i twitterinlägg skrivna på svenska. 202 twitterinlägg innehållande fem olika typer av emotikoner analyseras med utgångspunkt i existerande litteratur om emotikoner samt pragmatiska teorier som talaktsteori, artighetsteori och implikatur.

Many reports infer that questions of HBT and homophobia are either poorly addressed or not addressed at all in schools today. This study is based on interviews with teachers of students aged 13 to 15. It is an inquiry to the teacher's thoughts about, knowledge of, and sense of responsibility to inform students of the subjects 'Queer', 'HBT', and 'Homophobia'. Who is responsible for educating the students regarding these subjects and what do teachers think about including these subjects in their curriculum? How do the teachers describe their knowledge of the subjects? Do they require further knowledge themselves in order to educate others in a proper way? The study is grounded in queer theories.
