The aim was to find out teachers in Swedish as a second language in primary schools view on how they work with a language development teaching in a multicultural environment. I did a semi-structured interview where I both made questions before the interview and also used individualized follow-up questions during my interview. I did that because I really wanted to get answers to the subject and the aim of the essay. Two teachers in Swedish as a second language have been interviewed. The result shows that a holistic approach to language development is important, where great emphasis lies on understanding. Teachers say that communication and interaction are key factors and that it is important with good linguistically appropriate and understandable texts where the words/concepts are learned and used in the right context. .

This study is concerned with the region of Öresund and the aspects of work commuting in particular. The purpose is to investigate attitudes and opinions towards the region among work commuters and then apply them to various theories relevant for the questioning, such as globalization, regionalization, ethnicity, nationalism, culture and identity. To investigate the attitudes towards the region we have done a number of interviews with commuters, using qualitative and semi-structured questions. The analysis is divided into three different parts; In Body and in Mind, Us and Them, the Future; and consists of a discussion of our informants? answers related to the theoretical aspects of the earlier mentioned theories.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka huruvida lärares interaktion med elever under lektionstid påverkas av undervisningsgruppens storlek och tillämpad arbetsform samt om arbetssätt anpassas till klassens storlek. Undersökningen har pågått under en treveckorsperiod och genomförts med observationer och semi-strukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer som analyserats ur ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv och ramfaktorteori. Resultaten visar att lärarna i undersökningen inte gör någon märkbar skillnad i sin interaktion med elever beroende på klassens storlek eller arbetsform. Resultatet visade även att lärarna i studien inte anpassade sin lektionsplanering eller undervisning efter undervisningsgruppens storlek trots sin medvetenhet om detta..

Our study aimed at gaining insight of co-workers experiences of different factors that affects the verbal communication and leads to dialogue and misunderstanding between co-workers and their managers. The empirical material was gained from semi-structured interviews with co-workers at various departments within the same organization. We used a hermeneutic interpretive approach and our data was analyzed concerning different factors affecting communication. The result has been interpreted using the theories of deliberative conversations and dialogue competence. We have also used Illeris theory of learning.

The objective of the study is to examine whether the experience from language courses abroad has had any impact on the career choices for four individuals. Based on a qualitative research methodology, four semi-structured interviews have been executed. The two research questions have been answered by letting four people recount their experiences from language courses abroad linked to their self-images and career choices. The outcome is that the experiences from the language courses contributed to a more or less altered self-image. Most of all, the interpersonal abilities were fostered, which led to the formation of a self-image characterized by improved confidence in social settings.

This study aims to build a deeper understanding of how differences in identities and communication can affect the possibilities of achieving a successful merger between companies from different type of industries. Our study is of qualitative nature and looks into the specific merger between Företagshälsovården AB and Managementkonsulterna AB. The study builds upon 16 semi structured interviews which are carried out with employees from both parts of the organization and with management personnel. Firstly our study shows that the different identities existing within the different parts of the organization, highly affect the integration process after a merger. Secondly we show that the level of communication transmitted from the management, but also between the different parts of the organization, affects the possibilities of creating a successful merger.

This is a qualitative study of how 4 school teachers and 3 special educational teachers define the term ?pupil in need of special education?. They have each one been interviewed about this term, by the means of a semi-structured interview. Afterwards the collected information has been analyzed and seven major themes have been arranged out of them. From these themes it is possible to see that the term is hard to define, since the participants all believe that it should be decided by each individual case, if the pupil is in need of special education or not, and that the education in itself has to be relevant to the need, which means one cannot decide what special educational needs are, without a student who is in need of them.

The thoughts of a common school for all children have been around since the 1800?s but was something that was introduced in Sweden first in 1962. When the curriculum for primary school came in 1980 there was a new concept, a school for all. With a school for all it was aimed that all children should have the right to participation and a common education no matter what needs they could have.During my education I have come across the concept a school for all and that is something that interested me. Today?s curricula and school laws aim to ensure that all children have the right to equal education and inclusion whatever needs you have.The purpose of this study is to find out some pedagogues? thoughts and work around the concept a school for all.

The purpose of this study has been to examine the unit manager?s perspective on making Lex Sarah-notifications. The study has been carries out by six semi structured interviews with persons in leading positions of the elderly from three different municipalities. They were asked about different circumstances that affects the problems with Lex Sarah. The results indicates that the unit manager?s act on elder abuse from the complex mechanisms that exist within the organization.

Vårt syfte med den här studien var att ta del av yrkesverksamma lärares tankar och erfarenheter kring sambandet mellan koncentrationssvårigheter och skolmiljö hos barn. I vår studie använde vi oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer som vi genomförde med tio lärare i grundskolans tidigare år. Vårt resultat visade att lärarna hade liknande upplevelser av hur koncentrationssvårigheter kan ta sig uttryck hos barn, samt hur man som pedagog kan underlätta skolsituationen för dem. De karakteristiska drag som alla lärare nämnde som typiska för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter var rastlöshet, impulsivitet och svårighet att behålla fokus. Vad samtliga lärare framhöll som något av det viktigaste i samarbetet med dessa barn var vikten av uppmuntran och beröm.

This study is about how a swedish brand within the food industry that experiences a crisis following a product failure. It focuses on three areas following the crisis and these are crisis management, recovery strategies and brand management. This study seeks to explain how these areas interact in relation to massive exposure to mass media and how they interact restore the brand's potential loss of reputation. This study was conducted as a case study with a deductive and qualitative approach. The data gathered to this study was mainly based on newspaper articles and complemented with semi-structured interviews with twelve local retailers of the brand..

Med hjälp av en enkät fick förvaltningar runt om i landet svara på frågor gällande växtsortimentet som används för sommarplantering på gravrabatterna. En svarsfrekvens på 90 % gav ett intressant resultat. Genom intervjuer med både kyrkogårdsförvaltningar och producenter av blomsterfrön och plantor, gavs en bredare förståelse för sortimentet. En fråga som ställdes i både enkät och intervjuer var om det fanns något intresse att förnya det utbud som erbjuds idag. En annan fråga handlade om viktiga egenskaper som växten bör ha för att passa på kyrkogården. En tillbakablick till 1940-talet visade att de växter som användes under denna tid återfinns i dagens sortiment. Begonior, silverek och pelargon var vanliga då men är så också i dagens utbud och användning. Större delen av förvaltningarna är intresserade av förnyelse men tycker det är svårt att hitta bra växter som kan jämföras med dagens sortiment.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis was to explore how principals and school administrators work to develop their school libraries. To narrow our area of study we chose to only include gymnasiums run by the municipality and conducted four semi-structured interviews with two principals and two heads of upper secondary school. We formulated two questions: (1) what perceptions of the school library and its functions can be found among our four respondents? And, (2) how do they work with developing the school library? As a theoretical framework we used Loertscher?s taxonomy of the school leader.

Most of the people in today's society have at least some knowledge about Alzheimer's disease to some extent. When a person with Alzheimer's disease is being taken care of at home, the relatives have to change their own priorities and readapt themselves to the existing situation. The primary aim of this study is to describe how the relatives experience their own situation in life. The secondary aim of this study is to describe how the relatives understand their own relation with the health care authorities concerning the help and support issues. The authors have realized this study using the analytic inductive method and have interviewed four informants using a semi structured interview guide.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur nyanställda upplever sin socialisation vad gäller social kompetens och yrkeskompetens. Studiens två frågeställningar var; Hur upplever nyanställda att de har förvärvat social kompetens genom organisations-socialiseringen? Hur upplever de nyanställda att de har socialiserats in i yrkeskompetensen? Undersökningen var av kvalitativ karaktär där fyra semi-strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts. Resultatet visar på att de nyanställda upplever att de har socialiserats in i organisationen vad gäller den sociala kompetensen genom sina mer erfarna medarbetare och även genom att sätta sig in i organisationskulturen vid ett tidigt stadie. Yrkeskompetensen har också förvärvats genom interaktion med de äldre medarbetarna men även genom att praktiskt utföra arbetet istället för att läsa sig till kunskapen. .
