The paper will clear out the student perspective in order to examine students' attitude towards what would be important to touch on a matter of life. The essay will explore what is important for students to discuss and respond to their environment in schools and perceived to be relevant to talk about in life skills. There is an object which deals with gender and masculinity in the study. The study would examine whether a student perspective on life can affect the current knowledge of gender structures in the school. Qualitative research interviews were carried out in seven students in grade 9 at a school located in inner suburbs of Stockholm.

Enligt forskning har riktig natur och bilder av natur en avstressande effekt på människor i sjukhusmiljö. Stenpartier byggs ofta för att simulera naturliga förhållanden och kan upplevas som en tredimensionell landskapsmålning som förändras med årstidens växlingar.Syftet med denna studie är att komma fram till en gestaltningsskiss med hjälp av sten och stenpartiväxter. Gestaltningen tänkta plats är utanför Gävle sjukhus. Fokus har lagts på stenpartiets uppbyggnad, växternas krav och anpassningen till sjukhusmiljön.För att ta reda på ett stenpartis uppbyggnad och stenpartiväxters krav på växtmiljö har både en litteraturstudie och platsbesök med intervjuer gjorts. Litteraturen är sökt via LIBRIS.

Den Europeiska Unionen är idag inne i en intensiv process som syftar till att ha en autonom förmåga att genomföra militära krishanteringsoperationer från år 2003. Denna uppsats syfte är identifiera eventuella brister i denna kapacitet. För detta ändamål nyttjas en metod av Gunnar Sjöstedt som i sin utvecklade form innebär att analys genomförs av gemensamma mål, resurser, managementsystem för hantering av kriser samt beslutsfattning. Hela analysen sker utifrån den realistiska teoribildningen som väl lämpar sig för att nå syftet. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av fördragstexter, ordförandeskapens slutsatser, relevanta officiella EU-dokument samt samtal med officiella EU-tjänstemän.

SAMMANFATTNING: Syftet med denna studie var att belysa två systrars relation i förhållande till den ena systerns tidigare självskadebeteende, hur självskadehandlingarna påverkat relationen och hur omgivningen såg på systrarnas respektive situation under denna tid. Självskadebeteende definieras som ?avsiktlig förstörelse eller förändring av den egna kroppsvävnaden utan medveten självmordavsikt.?. Studiens primärdata utgjordes av separata intervjuer med två systrar där den ena av dem tidigare har haft ett självskadebeteende. Sekundärdata erhölls via sökningar i vetenskapliga databaser såsom SCA Social Sciences, PubMed (Medline), och Artikelsök och sökord som användes var; självskadebeteende, self-harm, syskon, syskonrelation, syskon till självskadare, sibling relations och anhörig.

Huvudsyftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att undersöka fil.kand. behandlingspedagogers upplevelser av sitt arbete och vilka arbetsuppgifter de har inom skolans verksamhet. Vidare undersöktes om dessa behandlingspedagoger upplever att de har den kompetens som krävs för detta arbete och om behandlingspedagoger kan kallas en profession. Metoden som användes var kvalitativ med semi-strukturerade intervjuer med tre behandlingspedagoger som är verksamma inom skolan. Resultatet tolkades utifrån bakgrundslitteraturen.

The neo-classical conception of the market place does not provide a framework to account for ethical or moral action. As a result, the neo-classical model is unable to explain the impact of ethical and moral issues on business sustainability present in the modern economy. To address this limitation, this thesis investigates whether theories of ethics can help explain the motivations and actions of stakeholders within the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, the thesis explores whether theories of ethics are presented differently within aspects of the stakeholder model. Semi - structured interviews were conducted with various stakeholders within the CSR sector, including a NGO, a commercial firm and a CSR consultancy firm.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

The thesis objective was to study the partnership between the municipality of Gothenburg and three nonprofit organizations concerning the mobile EU-citizens. The study examines how the EU-enlargement affected Sweden and eventually the municipality of Gothenburg, and how Gothenburg responded to the new situation regarding the target group. The thesis contains one case study and the empirical data are based on semi structured interviews with politicians and officials from both the public- and the nonprofit sector. The results were screened with New Institutional Theory, Resource Dependence Theory and Decision Making Theory: Rule Following. The theories were used to locate any type of isomorphism, resource dependence and rule following in the partnership.

The purpose of this thesis is to research public librarians view ofthe public library as a meeting place and how it may contribute tofacilitate social integration. To study this we have asked thefollowing research questions: How do public librarians work withthe public library as a meeting place? And how do they contributeconditions for ?soft inclusion??The method we have used for this study is semi-structuredinterviews. Seven public librarians from the Gothenburg areawere interviewed and the empirical material was analyzed usingqualitative content analysis.As a theoretical foundation we have used Dorte Skot-Hansensmodel of the public library as a third place and Mikael Stigendalstheory on social inclusion. Furthermore have we used research onthe public library as a meeting place and social integration as acomplement to the model and the theory.Conclusions from the material gathered is that public librarianssee the public library as a meeting place with potential tocontribute to integrating individuals and groups with one another.The librarians? foremost method was to attract visitors withactivities aimed at certain target groups.

Syftet med denna studie var att öka kunskapen om behandling av alkoholmissbruk, ur ett genusperspektiv. Frågeställningarna har lydit: Hur kan behandling av alkoholmissbruk se ut ur ett genusperspektiv och för vilka passar enkönad respektive samkönad behandling? För att få svar på detta har en kvalitativ semi-semistrukturerad intervjumetod valts. De personer som har intervjuats är en man och en kvinna som arbetar på ett behandlingshem för både män och kvinnor med kognitiv inriktning samt en man och en kvinna som har genomgått behandling på behandlingshem med inriktning mot 12-stegsmodellen som har både män och kvinnor inskrivna. Resultatet har visat att vissa klienter passar bättre inom enkönad behandling än inom samkönad, vilket ofta beror på klientens tidigare erfarenheter och attityder genemot det andra könet.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify how Swedish clothing companies strategically communicate CSR ? the issue being that CSR communication is frequently scrutinized and criticized. This is examined using semi-structured interviews with six company representatives. The result is presented thematically, dealing with (1) conditions for CSR and CSR communication, (2) how to manage the issue with criticism and (3) which communication strategies companies use. Following conclusions are drawn: the companies can be divided into Mirvis and Googins phases integrated or engaged/innovative, with conditions characterizing these phases.

The purpose of this study was to examine what participants in the third phase (fas 3) of the Swedish unemployment program, Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin, think about their situation, what they think about the program and if they feel stigmatized due to their unemployment. The data for the study was collected at one of the organizers of the program, which provides an introduction program for the participants. A qualitative method was used and the data was collected through six semi-structured interviews. The results were analyzed using Antonovskys theory of Sense of Coherence (SOC). The conclusions of the study were that the participants felt support from the staff at the organizer.

Syftet är att undersöka allmän sjuksköterskans upplevelse av möjligheter och förutsättningar att arbeta efter generella omvårdnadsåtgärder och givna lokala riktlinjer, exemplifierat inom postoperativ omvårdnad. Datainsamling gjordes genom semi- strukturerade intervjuer med sex sjuksköterskor delaktiga som arbetar inom kirurgisk verksamhet. Analys av insamlat material genomfördes med hjälp av innehållsanalys. Ett flertal hinder samt förutsättningar för att kunna arbeta utifrån vetenskaplig kunskap kunde identifieras. Upplevda hinder var bland annat tidsbrist, dåligt uppdaterade riktlinjer och ostrukturerad integrering av ny kunskap.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate how young adults view their own employabilityand to see if there was a connection between their view and their social background. Themethod used in the thesis is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach. The interviews includedwere of semi-structured kind. The main result is that respondents in the thesis expressed similarviews on their perceived employability regarding commitment and energy at work, networkingand contacts and job discrimination but there were some distinctions noted regardingtheir view on education and working life experience. The respondents from working classbackgrounds tended to focus more on education than the respondents from middle class/uppermiddle class backgrounds.

The purpose of this study is to understand school counselors knowledge and work with cyber bullying among students. Our study is based on the result from eight qualitative semi-structured interviews. These interviews were conducted with school counselors working at elementary and high school in the state of Kronoberg, Sweden. Our theoretical base is human services organizations, street level bureaucrats and acting space. Our study shows that school counselors have adopted cyber bullying in various ways which has an impact on their knowledge and systematical work regarding this question.
