This thesis is a study of Facebook users? beliefs attitudes and behaviour towards personalised adverts on the site, using Wang & Suns theory about the relationship between beliefs and attitude toward online advertising (ATOA) and the connection between attitude and behaviour. The result, based on qualitative research and interviews, will introduce a deeper understanding and interpretation of users? beliefs, attitudes and behaviour toward personalised adverts. The result showed that people perceive the site?s personal adverts as intrusive and interfering with their personal space and the purpose of the site.

When studying the voting behaviour of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) concerning the Services Directive within the EU, what patterns can be observed? With a starting point in previous findings about voting behaviour, this study analyses the results of the given Roll-call votes in the European Parliament in regards to the Services Directive. Here I focus on the division of votes within and between the member states and the parliamentary political groups; with the aim to identify patterns that might show clash of opinion concerning this issue. I found that ideology seems to play a role in the MEPs voting behaviour. Parties on the far left reach the highest level of cohesion and together with the party on the far right, they voted against the Directive, but due to different reasons.

The giant otter (Pteronura brasiliensis) is listed as an endangered species and scientific litterature concerning its biology and behaviour is scarce. The current study observed a group of three giant otters in a Swedish zoo. First the otters normal behaviour was recorded. Then the aim of the study was to see if the otters behaviour changed when given blue mussels (Mytilus edulis). Furthermore the aim was to see if the otters displayed any tool-using behaviour when given mussels.

Bakgrund: Tidigare studier har visat att självskadebeteende ökar hos unga kvinnor. Självskadebeteende anses vara ett sätt att uppnå tillfällig lättnad vid psykiskt lidande och bakomliggande orsaker anses i huvudsak vara depression och ångest. Forskning har påvisat att vårdmötet är problematiskt. Det finns vårdare som upplever bristande kunskap och förståelse och känner frustration och maktlöshet inför självskadande patienters handlingar. Många unga kvinnor befarar att deras problem ska förvärras av att söka vård samt fruktar att inte bli tagna på allvar.

The purpose of this thesis has been to investigaste the phenomenon of self-harm. To investigate this phenomenon, I interviewed three experts in Malmö and then compared the result with previous research on self-harm behaviour.The questions I wanted to answer were the following: How common is self-harm behaviour and how does it, according to experts, manifest itself among young men in Malmö? What can we learn from previous research about the causes of self-harm? Are there any correlations between the statements made by experts and previous research?My conclusion is that self-harm behaviour first and foremost is a mean of expression, a way of dealing with feelings that the self- harmer cannot deal with in any other way. People who suffer from self-harm behaviour often seem to have difficulties both in expressing and understanding their own feelings. Furthermore, they have often experienced abuse, abandonment, or other childhood traumas.

During the latest 50 years, the Swedish porcelain tableware industry has gone from being rather successful to experience significant problems. Our empirical study attributes these problems to underlying changes in consumer buying behaviour, whereas current generation theory supports our findings. The younger generation has significantly different preferences compared to older generations, with less focus on quality and more focus on variability, and there is reason to believe that these findings also are applicable to other consumer purchases. The successful porcelain companies of tomorrow will be the ones that continuously can adapt to these and further changes in consumer buying behaviour..

Warthogs live under natural conditions in matriarchal groups, bachelor groups and yearling groups. Just like all pig species do warthogs have a complex behaviour repertoire. The semi-wild warthog population at Kichwa Tembo Lodge, outside Masai Mara National Reserve, lives in a fenced area with access to food all over the year and is protected from predators. The aim of this study was to observe the male warthogs? mating behaviour and their hierarchy during the mating season.

För att öka förståelsen för dessa patienter kommer denna litteraturöversikt att fokusera på patienternas egna erfarenheter av hälso- och sjukvården.Syftet: Syftet var att beskriva erfarenheter av hälso- och sjukvården hos patienter med ett självskadebeteende.Metod: Litteraturöversikt med kvalitativ innehållsanalys av 12 artiklar genomfördes.Resultatet: Fem kategorier skapades: Att finnas men inte synas- erfarenheter av den sviktande organisationen, En miljö som hämmar eller främjar- erfarenheter av den fysiska miljöns påverkan, Att hjälpa eller stjälpa- erfarenheter av personalens attityder, Mellan hopp och förtvivlan- erfarenheter av patientens egna känslor i mötet och Jag är unik men ni väljer att inte se- erfarenheter kring patientens önskemål om en individanpassad vård.Diskussion: Fynden diskuteras utifrån negativa och positiva aspekter samt diskuteras patienternas behov.
