The Swedish industrial society has left several areas with contaminated soil and water which today is of danger for the environment and human health. One of these areas with contaminated soil and water is the region where the former Glava glassworks operated during 1859 to 1939. The main object in this study has been to study the responsibility for the contaminations according to the Environmental Code. The method used is a qualitative content analysis of relevant literature to answer the following questions:What types of contaminations can be found in the area of Glava glasswork and what health issues can these cause?What kind of activity has been conducted in the area that have caused the contaminations in soil and water?According to law, what are the responsibilities for the contaminations in soil and water at Glava glassworks?The contamination in the region has been confirmed to originate from the glasswork due to the environmental engineering survey made in the area in 2009.

Syfte: Studien syftar till att öka förståelse för hur reformen Hälsoval Skåne har påverkat såväl offentliga vårdenheter som privata aktörer och härigenom lyfta fram olika problematiska aspekter som upplevts. Metod: Kvalitativ metod, fallstudie. Empirisk analys: Studien visar bland annat på att det krävs en överrensstämmelse mellan de interna och externa faktorerna. Studien visar även att företagen inte kan forma sin strategi fritt utan att vissa faktorer måste tas i beaktande vilket går i linje med strategic fit och the design school. Vidare har även ett first mover advantage identifierats vilket i sin tur skapat barriärer likt de Porter beskriver i How competetive forces shape strategy. Ekonomiska aspekter har även identifierats vilka är av stor vikt för att överleva i hälsovalet men även olikheter beträffande konkurrenssituationen visar sin inverkan. Slutsatser: De aspekter som bland annat kan tänkas vara avgörande är företagets ekonomiska styrka samt omfattning av annan vårdverksamhet. Urininkontinens hos kvinnor i Sverige och i resten av världen är idag ett växande problem och ett dolt hälsoproblem. Syftet med studien var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med urininkontinens. Metod som användes var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med vetenskapligt granskade artiklar. Sökningen resulterade i nio artiklar. Vetenskapliga artiklar söktes i CINAHL och LibHub databas.

Bakgrund: Personer med ej akuta tillstånd utgör en betydande del av besökarna på en akutmottagning och det är av vikt att deras omvårdnad innehåller kvalitet. Hög patientgenomströmning medför ökad arbetsbelastning och stressiga situationer, vilket kan medföra att sjuksköterskan fokuserar på symtomen och människan glöms bort. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur personer med ej akuta tillstånd upplever omvårdnaden på en akutmottagning i Storbritannien och Sverige. Metod: Innehållsanalys gjordes av artiklar med kvalitativ ansats. Resultatet visade att det fanns brister i omvårdnaden som påverkade vårdrelationen, tryggheten och lidandet hos de vårdsökande personerna.

Stöd till närstående borde utgöra en väsentlig del av den vård som patienten får. Syfte: Att belysa det stöd sjuksköterskan kan bistå närstående med vid diagnostiserad bröstcancer. Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie och inkluderade tio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades och utformades till studiens resultat. Resultat: Det framkom att behovet av informativt och emotionellt stöd kunde kopplas till närståendes ålder, kön och den genetiska risken att drabbas av bröstcancer.

Bakgrund: Reumatoid artrit är den vanligaste inflammatoriska ledsjukdomen i Sverige. Sjukdomen påverkar individens liv och orsakar svårigheter i vardagen. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att belysa personers upplevelser av att leva med reumatoid artrit. Metod: En litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats användes där tio artiklar granskades med hjälp av en innehållsanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundmans tolkning. Resultat: Resultatets underlag är skrivet utifrån de tio kvalitativa artiklarna.

Statistik visar att fem procent av alla sjukskrivna i Sverige är lärare. Sjukskrivningar orsakade av den arbetsrelaterade ohälsan har under senare år alltmer även kommit att förknippas med psykosociala faktorer. Syftet med studien är tvådelat. Vi ville för det första undersöka hur grundskollärare anser att den psykosociala arbetsmiljön påverkar deras hälsa. I Sverige ökar frekevensen av psykisk ohälsa. Mindfulness är en form av uppmärksamhetsträning att vara i nuet, som kan kan öka förmågan till lugn istället för att fastna i invanda beteenden såsom oro för framtiden. I aktuell studie delger fyra respondenter individuellt sina upplevelser kopplat till hälsa, efter deltagande i ett mindfulnessprogram. Denna kvalitativa studie med en tematisk analys på narrativ bas visar att berörda anammat mindfulness i varierande grad för att hantera egen hälsa och tillvaro i arbete samt privatliv inklusive relationer. The goals of this Bachelors? Thesis were to establish the production loss through the VTIS1 Pasteur at Arla Foods Linköping dairy and then suggest simple but effective solutions to minimize the losses for each production run. If the timeframe allowed it, some of the solutions would be implemented and tested in full production to determine their impact on economic and environmental savings.The very first step of this project was to establish the statistics over what losses there is in the production pipeline through VTIS1, from milk and powders in mixer tanks to finished and packed products in cold storage. Then, when knowing how much product was actually lost and where, those bottlenecks could be pinpointed and examined more closely. At this stage the focus was switched, from the otherwise complicated and broad manufacturing process, to the VTIS1-aggregate, since early data indicated there were quite substantial losses there.In conjunction with this project Arla Foods purchased an absorption photometer-measuring device (OPTEK AS16) that could be inserted straight into the product stream out of VTIS1, allowing real time measurements of its optical density.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.

This research aim was to examine the relationship between the choice of lunch dish, level of education, gender and age of the participants. The understanding of diet and it´s influence on health was also of interest to the research, as was cooking interest and travel habits. The goal was to demonstrate how these factors affect the adult individuals in their choice of lunch. A questionnaire was filled in by 99 guests in a chosen restaurant. The results show that many of these factors influence the choice of dish, especially those related to gender.
