Randomness is a complex area of computer science, where only pseudo random numbers are possible to generate algorithmically.This report presents established algorithms for random number generation by conducting a basic study of relevant literature, while testing distribution and speed of the algorithms contained within the C++11 Random library. The results are compared to the algorithm XORShift and a modified version of it. The study shows that the modified algorithm passes all tests in Small Crush, andthat the run time is shorter than for those in the Random library. The conclusion is that it is possible to, with simple means, modify an algorithm to outperform the algorithms of the C++11 Random library..

Numerous physiological, pathological and pharmacological factors, aside heart function, may influence concentration of natriuretic peptides. This leads to an increase in herdsize in order to make a profit.The milk cow herds in Sweden becomes fewer year by year and the herdsize increases. Theincreased herdsize can cause a decrease in the time the farmer spends per animal. This canaffect early disease detection and prolong the animals suffering.Swedish Board of Agriculture published (2008) statistics showing that today's milk cow ismedicated primarily because of two reasons; mastitis or hoof problems. Mastitis is thereason to two thirds of all treatments that are carried out.

The aim of this study is to find out whether there is any difference to be found in the attention ability before and after physical activity. The method used in this study was made of an experimental design. The participants were chosen through a cluster sampling and thereafter divided into a control group and an experimental group. A total of 64 pupils from upper secondary school participated in the study, 25 of them in the experimental group and 39 of them in the control group. Since the measure was repeated, both in respect of time and the comparison between the groups, a mixed design was used.

The pathogenic fungus Rhizoctonia solani causes major economic losses for potato producers in Sweden. The producers, as well as advisors, have reported possible increases in severity of R. solani when free-living plant parasitic nematodes are present and active. There are several examples in the literature of interactions between pathogens where one, or both species, support or increase the damage made by the other organism. These complexes are important to investigate and to be able to forecast, since even low incidences of fungi or nematodes may result in an interaction of significance.

Purpose ? The purpose of this thesis is to develop a total cost model for container transports and create a tool that calculates a suitable transport quantity from an economic view, which fulfills the demands on delivery service. To achieve this purpose the following questions will be answered:Which costs are affected by the decision between the two transport alternatives LCL and FCL?   How does the decision of sending product LCL or FCL influence the delivery service?  How can a tool be constructed to simplify the decision-making process regarding the choice of sending products LCL or FCL?  Method ? A total cost model was developed. This model is supported from existing literature.

Uppsatsens syfte är att ur ett personalperspektiv undersöka och beskriva kunskapsläget i äldreomsorgsarbete inom hemtjänsten med brukare som har alkoholproblematik. Syftet belyses via följande frågeställningar; 1) Hur beskrivs arbete med vård och omsorg hos brukaren generellt i forskningen? 2) Hur påverkas brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet generellt vid behov av vård och omsorg från äldreomsorgen? 3) Hur beskrivs arbete med vård och omsorg hos brukaren med alkoholproblematik i forskningen? 4) Hur påverkas brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet generellt vid behov av vård och omsorg från äldreomsorgen om brukaren har alkoholproblematik? För att besvara frågeställningarna valdes selektiv kunskapsöversikt som består av 11 utvalda primärdokument. Syfte och frågor i vår uppsats analyserades och besvarades via socialkonstruktionistisk och DBO-teorin, en handlingsteori. Resultatet av uppsatsen visar att: relationen mellan personal och brukare är avgörande för brukarens självbestämmande och livskvalitet.

Under 2000-talet har det i Sverige genomförts två gymnasieutredningar som har syftat till att reformera gymnasieskolans struktur. Den första utredningen tillsattes år 2000 av den då sittande socialdemokratiska regeringen och fick namnet ?Åtta vägar till kunskap ? En ny struktur för gymnasieskolan.?. Politiska motsättningar gjorde dock att de påföljande reformerna, vilka skulle genomföras 2007, blev tämligen blygsamma och vid regeringsskiftet 2006 drog den nya alliansregeringen helt tillbaka reformerna för att själv tillsatta en ny utredning. Utredningen, som fick namnet ?Framtidsvägen ? en reformerad gymnasieskola?, ligger till grund för den gymnasiereform som börjar gälla hösten 2011.

Vår undersökning visar att Gina Tricot är den kedja som har lyckats uppnå störst och snabbast tillväxt på den svenska marknaden och vi gör en närmare undersökning på deras verksamhet. I slutsatsen har vi tagit fram en modell som visar på vilka beståndsdelar som är ett måste i en kedja för att generera och bibehålla tillväxt..

Nowadays, cooperation is necessary and this study tries to illuminate the possibilities and problems about cooperation in fiction between 7 small/midsize farms in Skåne. Conventional Farming is done with grain and sugarbeets as specialization. Calculation of machine costs have been done and compared in the study, both for the farms in thorough and the fictitious operation companies. Business ratios as depreciation/ha, interest/ha and maintenance/ha have been calculated. In this essay we present a proposal about how a practical implementation can be done. In the proposal there is an example how the distribution of work can be done.

Syftet med den här undersökningen är att beskriva och analysera vilka fördelar och nackdelar det finns med att utkontraktera en transportplaneringsprocess till en extern part. Undersökningen genomfördes på uppdrag av BT-Europe i Mjölby på avdelningen som ansvarar för distribution av produkter och reservdelar. BT är i grunden ett svenskt företag som startade sin verksamhet 1946 och är idag världsledande tillverkare av eldrivna lagertruckar. År 2000 förvärvades BT av Toyota och detta skapade en världsledande konstellation inom truckbranschen.Bakgrunden till undersökningens syfte är att arbetet med att effektivisera och förbättra transportplaneringsprocessen inom BT har blivit eftersatt på grund av den kraftiga produktionsökningen de senaste 5 åren. Detta har lett till stigande kostnader för distribution av färdiga produkter och reservdelar.I dagsläget finns inget centralt kontrollorgan över transportplaneringsprocessen på BT utan all transportplanering av produkter och reservdelar till truckar, sker lokalt på varje marknadsbolag i Västeuropa.
