Although gang violence has gained much attention in Swedish media in recent years, women in gang environments remain unexplored. Recently the Swedish Gender Equality Agency (J?mst?lldhetsmyndigheten) published a report in March 2024 showing that women are being sexually exploited in gang environments, and the report has brought attention to women in gangs. This study examines gender-based violence in gang environments in Sweden. The aim of this study is to examine how intimate relationships with men in gang environments affect womens? agency to enter and leave gangs.

Uppsatsens syfte var att presentera och analysera exempel på hur två elever utövade inflytande överen kollaborativberättelse de skrev i ett klassrum modellerat efter Tragetons modell att skriva sig tillläsning. Vidare var syftet att synliggöra de lärdomar som kan dras från att i denna studie med ensamtalsanalytisk metod analysera interaktioner i samspelet runt skriv- och läsinlärningen i skolan.Materialet som presenteras i denna uppsats samlades in med två filmkameror och en diktafon somfokuserade på ett par elever som arbetade med att skriva en berättelse tillsammans. Segment av detinsamlade materialet presenterades sedan i form av transkriptioner som låg till grund för analysen.Resultaten synliggör ett antal olika interaktioner där deltagarna utövar inflytande över materialetoch i begränsad utsträckning hur texten växer fram i förhållande till dessa interaktioner. This report is the result of a project in the course Independent Projekt in Molecular Biotechnology at Uppsala University during the spring of 2014. The foremost purpose of the course is to give students the opportunity to carry through exstensive work in a project environment. This project was formed based on a comission from the biotechnology company SweTree Technologies, and the goal has been to compose a summary of the different techniques and methods that exist in the field of mass propagation of trees through the method of somatic embryogenesis.The project group has obtained information about the area mainly throgh reading patents, trying to find key components and bottlenecks in other companies? somatic embryogenesis technologies. This paper is divided into different sections, containing the patents of the automation of different steps in the process.

District heating covers most of the residential areas and industries in the twoneighbouring Swedish municipalities Nyköping and Oxelösund. In Nyköping,Vattenfall AB Värme produces heat in a bio-fuelled CHP plant. In Oxelösund,waste heat and use of waste gases from the steel production at SSABOxelösund is the basis in the district heating system.This report examines the environmental consequences of a connection betweenthe two district heating systems. A broad system approach is used and the focusis on environmental effects in the system.A system analysis has been performed on the result of simulations of differentheat and electricity production alternatives. The alternatives simulated wereone where Vattenfall Nyköping covers the base load in the joint district heatingsystem and two where the power plant at SSAB Oxelösund supplies the heatbase load.The conclusion in this report is that the consequences of connecting the twodistrict heating systems can be both positive and negative, depending onsystem boundaries and on the environmental focus.

Abstract New methods, techniques and tools for the building industry are constantly being developed and improved and launched on the market. The problem in the building industry development is not that the products are not good enough. The problem is instead that the existing construction companies do not choose to use these innovations, instead they continue to employ the technologies they already possess and master. This leads to the fact that the construction industry is, in the public eye, beeing seen as a conservative industry. AquaVilla is a company that basically produces houseboats.

The idea with constructions made out of prefabricated elements is that it should be quick and easy to build as the demands for lower production costs, increased profitability and shorter production times are constantly increasing. High accuracy in measurements and well-balanced tolerances is required to achieve this. The fact that the concrete-elements doesn?t fit and that damage occurs during assembly is a highly topical issue even though we now have methods and systems that make this high-intensity construction possible. Through this report we want to highlight the problems that cause the dimensional and tolerance problems and give suggestions on how to come to terms with these.

This report summarizes the development of a calculation program estimating the profitability of converting a peak-load oil-fired boiler to pellets. To convert an oil-fired boiler to pellets a new fuel handling system must be designed. Changes also have to be made to some other components. Since there are many different techniques for transportation, storage and treatment of the fuel only the most interesting techniques from Swecos experience and interest were included in the study.The capacity of the different parts in the system was dimensioned based on the power of the boiler after conversion. To estimate prices, installed power and dimensions manufacturers and distributers were contacted.

Idag finns det lite forskning kring området alpinanläggningar och så kallade snowparks som många norska alpinanläggningar erbjuder. Syftet med denna studie är att skapa en större kunskap om användarnas, dvs. Snowboardåkares, preferenser som kan användas som stöd i utvecklingen av framtida norska snowparks. Vi önskar även skapa en kunskap om varför vissa anläggningar upplevs vara bättre än andra.En undersökning, baserad på Kanos et al. (1984) teori om attraktiv kvalitet, utfördes för att hitta svar på vad som gör snowboardåkare av snowparks tillfredsställda och om det finns en skillnad mellan hur olika dimensioner av snowparkprodukten bidrar till kvalitet och tillfredställelse.

I förskolans utvecklingssamtal skall personal och föräldrar diskutera barnets utveckling ochlärande, vad barnet gör, hur det trivs och hur barnet fungerar socialt (Skolverket 2005). Detfinns inga mål barnet skall uppnå, som beskriver vad barnet skall kunna vid en viss tidpunkt.Det anses dock viktigt att följa barnets utveckling och lärande, men det är inte detsammasom att bedöma barnet utifrån fastställda kriterier och normer (Prop.2004/05:11).SYFTE:Vårt syfte med studien är att ta reda på vad föräldrar förväntar sig av utvecklingssamtal iförskolan, och vad de anser vara av betydelse i pedagogens roll under utvecklingssamtalet.METOD:Vi har valt att använda oss av self report som metod till vår studie. En self report är enskriven text av en person om ett fenomen som en forskare vill veta mer av. I vår studie är detföräldrar som skrivit ner berättelser utifrån frågeställningar om utvecklingssamtal iförskolan.RESULTAT:Resultatet visar att föräldrar vill veta hur barnet har det på förskolan. Föräldrarna villframförallt veta hur barnet fungerar i gruppen, i det sociala samspelet.

Forest management plans have been sold to private forest owners by wood supplying companies for a long time. These plans are considered to be effi-cient tools to identify measures and wood volumes, and are simply a starting point for discussions between private forest owners and round wood pur-chasers. However, large variations are observed between different purchas-ers, in their usage of the plans. The purpose of this report is to identify to what extent a forest management plan can promote an increase in the amount of wood which a round wood purchaser can obtain and to find differences in the way of using the plans between different wood purchasers. Furthermore, the purpose is also to ana-lyse if varying owner structures can be underlie variations in the selling of forest management plans. Qualitative interviews with nine of Stora Enso?s round wood purchasers were performed.

The homes that were built in the 60?s - and 70's are now so dilapidated and worn that they need thorough renovations. These renovations are expensive to implement for the landlords, which means that the funding for these renovations can create problems. Currently there are no government subsidies for these renovations. This report will examine how Förbo performed the renovation of Säteriet.

Microproduction, also called distributed generation, is something that has become more and more popular in the electric grid. Microproduction can however lead to unacceptable performance if several units are installed in the same low voltage network. It is therefore good to know a limit where the performance of the low voltage network becomes unacceptable based on given parameters. This limit is usually called hosting capacity.In this report the hosting capacity with respect to voltage and current have been studied in three low voltage networks which are located in Falu Elnäts concession area. This has been done by simulations in a GIS-program where critical times of the grid have been simulated.
