An introduction to the complexity which surrounds the matters of land in the northern parts of Sweden was the purpose of this thesis. The agriculture colonization, the delimitation and the development of forestry and mining business were big events which are shown from the view of property rights. The situation of the Lappish people and how their situation has changed through the history was the main theme of the thesis. Hopefully this thesis will also serve as a support while reading for example investigations published by the government and judgments by courts. Supply to the resources of nature has always been decisive for the survival of humans.

Most of the beef production in Sweden has been integrated with milk production. Since the 1990:s, the number of dairy cows has decreased. A specialised beef production has developed in purpose to compensate for this decrease. The consumption of beef have increased in the last decade, but the Swedish production has no followed this trend. In 2004, the percentage of beef self-sufficiency in Sweden was 60 %.

Regioner har alltid funnits. Det har stått för det intermediära, en funktion mellan det lokala och det centrala styret. Den geografiska omfattningen har varit allt från länsindelningar till stora internationella eller kulturella regioner. Historiskt sätt, kan regioner vara funktionella, administrativa eller kulturella. När Sverige övergick till att bli ett industrisamhälle, blev regioner en viktig utgångspunkt för att förändra de nationella näten.

AbstractThis essay begins with a presentation of the complex set of problems which relate to the interaction between freedom of speech and the ban against discrimination based on a person's race, the colour of their skin or ethnic origin, confession of faith or sexual preference (BrB 16:8, incitement to racial hatred). Can conflicts arise between freedom of speech and the ban against discrimination? To shed light on this question, we have chosen to look at the issue from a new perspective. This perspective is based on the new challenges faced by Swedish society as a result of the changed composition of our population, our membership in the EU and our acknowledgment of certain international conventions concerning human rights.Fifty years ago our population almost solely comprised of ?native Swedes?.

Stureholm Manor and garden is a relatively young farming unit on clay soil in the north western part of Skåne, a province in Southern Sweden. Since the middle of the 19th century the landscape has been actively cultivated and has been transformed from oak forrest into farmingland of high efficiency. The industrial era during the 19th and 20th centuries meant new posssibilites for cultivation of these clay soils. With equipment like steam ploughs and the possibility to obtain fertilizers, the harvest increased considerably. This increased prosperity provided estate Stureholm with a beatuiful corps de logi, a manor. The trends prevailing in Europe around the turn of the century 1800-1900 against the growing industrialism, was turned into a artisan movement known as Arts and Craft. The Swedish followers idealized our Swedish history and they took the turn of a national romantic movement that later turned into neoclassicism.

In the middle of the 19th century came an opposite reaction against the hospitals? treatment of their patients and a more human way was requested. A link between crowded housing, bad hygien and other bad conditions had been noticed and nature was considered to be healthy. Hospitals and sanatiories moved closer to nature due to influences from England, USA and Germany, and cities began building public parks. Employment was seen as calming and healthy for the patients.

The European Union is a 60 year long collaboration between the European countries. It was born from the intention to ease trade and thereby reassure peace. Within the 60 years EU has functioned it has developed and expanded further. In 1952 it evolved around the trade of coal and steel between six countries, today it includes 27 nations and oversees a large number of topics such as foreign affairs, a common currency and regional politics. EU has grown at several times, the latest expansion was the largest where 12 new countries became members. The unions of countries that only 60 years ago were at different sides of a world war can be considered an accomplishment.

Mitt syfte har varit att undersöka om och hur Viksjö genom förtätning kan utvecklas från en modernistisk förort till att fungera och upplevas som stad. Mina utgångspunkter har varit idéerna om den täta staden, blandstaden, den traditionella staden och staden med människan i fokus. Jag har utgått ifrån Jane Jacobs och Jerker Söderlinds synsätt på staden och även lyft fram kritiker vilket har lett fram till mitt planförslag. Enligt mitt planförslag och min diskussion så går det att tillföra element till Viksjö som gör att området har potential att fungera och upplevas som en stad. Viksjö är en typisk 60-70-talsförort i Stockholmsregionen som består av mestadels villamattor och radhusområden samt ett mindre centrum med ett antal flerbostadshus. I centrum har en viss punktvis förtätning skett men annars ser Viksjö ut som när det byggdes. Viksjö är uppbyggt utav flera småhusområden där varje område bildar en egen enklav som är kopplad till en matargata som leder till huvudleden genom Viksjö ? Viksjöleden.

Sammanfattning Helsingborg är i behov av att växa. Detta beror bl.a. på dess geografiska placering i centrum av Öresundsregionen. Som en av de större städerna i denna till innehållet växande landsdel är framtidsutsikter extra goda. Av den anledningen förutspås befolkningsantalet fortsätta stiga och behoven öka.
