Bakgrund: Omkring 25000 individer i Sverige lever idag med en stomi. Stomin kan ha en påverkan på den sexuella hälsan då den kan orsaka problem vid sexuella aktiviteter. Den kan också hota vuxenrollen på grund av förlusten av att inte kunna konrollera tarmen. Sjuksköterskans uppgift är att ge vägledning, utbildning och information om sjukdomsförloppet och den sexuella hälsan. Att prata om sexualitet inom sjukvården kan dock vara problematiskt då det är ett känsligt ämne för både patient och sjuksköterska.Syfte: Att beskriva individers upplevelser av sexualitet i samband med stomi.Metod: Litteraturöversikten baserades på tio vårdvetenskapliga artiklar som hämtats från databaserna CINAHL Complete, PubMed, Medline, Academic Search Complete och DOAJ.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine how libraries can organize their collections in terms of library shelving and displays and to what extent these activities stem from a desire to create a user-friendly library. The thesis is based upon a case study of Arkenbiblioteket in Sweden and the material consists of a literature study and qualitative, semi-structured interviews with three librarians at Arkenbiblioteket. The theoretical framework consists of theories on information-seeking behavior, classification and displays. These theories form the basis of the analysis of the empirical material.The main reason for the changes in shelf arrangement at Arkenbiblioteket was a desire among the library staff to create a user-friendly library.

At present indoor tethering of dairy cows is still common but is not predicted to take part of modern dairy production. When conducting scientific studies of cattle it is generally necessary to tether the animals to maintain a controlled environment. Studies confirm that tethering and confinements of cattle severely affects the development of stereotypies in cattle. The feeding regime and feeding level have an immense affect on the stereotypi level in cattle. The aim of this experiment was to study dairy heifers that had never been tethered before the start of the experiment, to evaluate the affect of tethering on the development of stereotypies and the impact of the feeding regime on the behavior of the animals. Sixteen dairy heifers were tethered in a tie stall and divided in two groups with different treatments. Heifers in treatment E were fed restrictedly with silage and treatment EH was fed with the same amount of silage but also straw ad libitum.

In this essay I examine the auto fictive self in Jeanette Wintersons Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit. I do this through a close reading of the novel using Mieke Bals narratological terms;narrator, story, fabula, time and order. These narratological terms have been merged together with central themes of the book. I look at the readers understanding of the novel, the relation between fairytale and realism, symbols, intertextuality, the mother-daughter relationship and silences and I analyze these themes in their relation to autofiction and the auto fictive self.  Gemma Lopez Seductions and Narratives has been a key reference, mainly her theories on self-creation in narratives, and the construction of the self, trough language. The narrative is the place where the self can transgress and reshape, which gives the narrative a subversive power. I analyze this presumed power, and look at how the story shapes an opportunity for the subject to see itself.

Fotledsdistorsion är bland den vanligast förekommande skadan inom idrotten, där symtom som smärta, svullnad och funktionell instabilitet oftast blir en följd av skadan. Beroende på hur allvarlig skadan är kan det innebära långa tidsperioder ifrån idrotten. Det finns olika rehabiliteringsmetoder efter fotledsdistorsion där oftast PRICE ingår. Syftet med studien var att granska den vetenskapliga litteraturen avseende effekterna av rehabiliteringen efter akut eller subakut fotledsdistorsion. Metod: En litteratursökning genomfördes i databaserna Academic Search Elite, CINAHL, PEDro och Pubmed, vilket resulterade i att 25 artiklar inkluderades.

The last few years have been characterised by increasing online communication and the emergence of social media, made possible by Web 2.0. In society as well as in reSearch, social media is used for knowledge produc- tion and networking. One example of this is Mendeley, a social reference management tool. With answers from users all over the world, this study investigates the use of Mendeley, if the respondents use other social media and if all of this affects scientific communication. The aim is also to study what the respondents think about the future of scientific communication and if this can be related to current tendencies.The theoretic framework for this study is based on Leah Lievrouws reSearch on the Cycle of Scientific Communication and the relationship between the ?Little Science 2.0?-scenario and the ?Big Science Retrench- ment?-scenario.A qualitative web based survey was conducted (41 answers) and complemented with an interview with a professor in environmental sciences.

To be able to test this connection we gathered information from the corporation?s annual reports which we compiled to see how the market comprehends.

When the independent upper secondary schools were started in 1992, it meant a change in the competitive relationship for the local upper secondary schools. A reduced number of students during some years ahead, while the number of independent upper secondary schools increase will probably result in tougher competition between upper secondary schools.The purpose of this study is to review and compare financial and performance management between a public and an independent upper secondary school. The dissertation will focus on the now existing competitive relationship between the two types of upper secondary schools.The theory underlying the study is Porter's model - five competitive forces. The model is applied to the local upper secondary school and used to identify competitive factors affecting upper secondary schools. The study is using a qualitative approach with five interviews at two upper secondary schools, one independent and one public, located in the same town.The comparison of financial and operational management of upper secondary schools indicate that the differences are not as great as we first imagined, but that there still are some differences.

I takt med att synen på psykisk ohälsa förändrades avvecklades den institutionsbaserade vårdformen. 1995 års psykiatrireform syftade till att stärka dessa patienters rättigheter och ställning i samhälletSyfte:Beskriva anhörigas upplevelser av att ha en närstående med psykisk ohälsa.Metod:En litteraturöversikt gjord enligt Fribergs (2010) metod för litteraturöversikter. Efter sökningar i databaserna Academic Search premiere, Cinahl Plus with Full Text, Medline och PsychInfo valdes tolv kvalitativa artiklar för att analyseras. Den teoretiska referensramen för arbetet är Katie Erikssons lidandebegrepp.

Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur sjuksköterskan kan stödja överviktiga barn och deras familjer till en hälsosam förändring samt beskriva vilket stöd dessa barn och deras familjer vill ha från sjuksköterskan för att genomföra en hälsosam förändring. Vidare var syftet att granska de ingående artiklarnas kvalitet, avseende datainsamlingsmetod.Metod: En systematisk litteratursökning gjordes i databaserna Cinahl och Academic Search Elite. Dessa sökningar genererade 11 artiklar vilka resultatet baserades på.Resultat: Barn som lider av övervikt och deras föräldrar önskar ett utökat stöd från sjuksköterskan och sjukvården genom till exempel individuella viktminskningsprogram för hela familjen. Genom att använda ett neutralt språk och att ta hjälp av tillväxtkurvan kan sjuksköterskan göra familjerna uppmärksammade på barnens övervikt. En bra metod för sjuksköterskan att använda sig av för att kunna stödja familjerna är motiverande samtal.

We want to explore which communication strategy the company applies to reach their customers. We also want to see what kind of communication the company applies to get to market more effectively and remain on the market longer. Method:The study is a qualitative case study where we have conducted a personal interview with the company president.

The purpose of this thesis is to inquire how a small town can be affected by some planned changes in the physical structure of the town, and how its inhabitants can benefit from those major changes. The town in question is Ulricehamn, and of the four projects considered, two concerns infrastructure. A new railway and a new locality for the major road, today passing through Ulricehamn. The other two projects are run by the local authorities, that is the planning of a modern town park by the lake, and a new public building for cultural purposes. There are no guarantees that any of the four projects will ever be realized, but in the process with this work, they have been considered as already a fact.

Background:Existential and spiritual thoughts are a big part of pallative care. The terms existential and spiritual can be understood in many different ways. It may mean thoughts about faith or thoughts concerning life and death. The nurse in palliative care need to have good communication skills, be responsible and be present and supportive in meeting with the patient.Aim:To describe the nurse's experiences of meeting patients' existential and spiritual thoughts in palliative care.Methods:A literature review based on 10 scientific studies have been done. The studies have been downloaded from the following scientific databases; Academic Search preimer, CINAHL Plus with   Full Text, and PubMed.

The Regional State Archive in Uppsala [Landsarkivet i Uppsala] has several archives left from various types of educational institutions in the counties of Dalarna, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västmanland and Örebro. This archiv-al guide reveals the main content of some of the school archives. It goes through the archives of the elementary school, state secondary grammar schools and private secondary grammar schools. A few special schools for the blind and the deaf children are included.
