An information system is something that evolves over time to enhance the company that is using it. The technology for building an information system is also evolving. New methods and new programming languages make system development easier. As new technology breaks ground and the demands of a company?s information system grow, the company will sooner or later get to a point where a change in the base of the system is necessary.

Uppsatsen redogör för manusförfattarnas uppkomst och utveckling, medgångar och motgångar, dels med hjälp av teori men personliga erfarenheter i Hollywood, intervjuer och samtal med manusförfattare och andra filmskapare spelar också en väsentlig roll.Uppsatsen innehåller huvudsakligen en teoretisk och praktisk analys av manusförfattarnas tillvaro, analysmetoden används som en referensram i övriga delar av uppsatsen.Historiskt undersöker vidtecknad den primitiva och klassiska perioden inom filmens utveckling där fackföreningarnas inverkan analyseras samt hur Europa påverkat manusförfattandet ur ett historiskt och filmteoretiskt perspektiv, dessutom undersöks vilket inflytande auteur-teorin haft på manusförfattarna som yrkesgrupp.Vidtecknad försöker att med hjälp av en teoretisk men samtidigt undersökande metod knyta samman teori och praktik för att göra en så underhållande och samtidigt lärorik uppsats som möjligt..

Syftet med denna uppsats är framförallt att försöka visa, samt diskutera, vad en postkolonial läsning kan vara, och vad den kan ge. Jonas Hassen Khemiris "Ett Öga Rött" är ämnet för min läsning, alltså mitt primärmaterial. Genom olika närläsningar av denna roman undersöks relationerna mellan språk, makt och identitet. Huvudsakligen försöker jag, med hjälp av postkolonial teoribildning, att utröna hur romanens huvudkaraktär och berättare, Halim, förhåller sig till sig själv, och sin verklighet. Min teoretiska grund ligger hos de postkoloniala teoretikerna Edward Said och Homi Bhabha.

There are shortcomings when it comes to recent studies by a Roma perspective on Roma culture and traditions. The purpose of this paper is to understand how the Roma present themselves in eight articles with an emphasis on culture, language and identity. The questions are as follows:First, how the Roma articles manufactures the Roma culture and what do these articles say about culture, identity and language from a Roma perspective? Second, how can the Roma preserve and develop their culture and be a part of Swedish society in accordance with Articles?Some of the findings are that the Roma language, Roma clothing and Roma music is part of the Roma culture. Similarly, social codes and traditions such as International Roma Day, which is a Romani celebration.

Röstlikhet hos enäggstvillingar är ett relativt outforskat ämne inom fonetiken. De få studier som har gjorts har dock fastslagit att enäggstvillingar har väldigt lika röster. De flesta studier som gjorts har varit perceptoriska, dvs. de har testat huruvida skillnaden i enäggstvillingars röster är hörbar och i vilken utsträckning. Det faktum att man vet väldigt lite om ämnet gjorde att arbetet med min egen studie blev väldigt intressant eftersom det var svårt att förutspå resultatet.

Sweden has a growing proportion of children living in a multilingual environment. It is thus highly important that caretakers as well as professionals who meet these children have knowledge of multilingualism and its impact on language development. Also, an increase of referrals of multilingual children with suspected language impairment to speech and language pathology clinics is seen.The objective of this study was to investigate the linguistic ability in both Swedish and Arabic in a four year old child with suspected language impairment. A further aim was to implement an intensive intervention and evaluate the efficacy of it. Language testing in both languages showed that the boy?s greatest need was in the lexical domain.

Uppsatsen diskuterar olika uttolkningar av George Batailles pornografiska kortroman Ögats Historia (L?Histoire de l??il, 1928) utifrån den franska feministiska filosofen Luce Irigarays teorier om Fallogocentrism, en genuin Femininitet och Mimesis.I slutet förekommer även en analys av Ögats Historia som med hjälp av Irigarays tolkningsverktyg och med utgångspunkt i den tidigare uttolkningsdiskussionen försöker producera en positiv feministisk tolkning av texten. Det vill säga en tolkning som istället för att visa på textens eventuella misogyna eller fallogocentriska drag, visar på dess feministiska kvaliteter och potenser.I praktiken innebär detta att Irigarays tankar om det Genuint Feminina eller ett Kvinnligt Språk (Parler Femme) används som modell för en alternativ sexuell diskurs vilken sedan appliceras på Ögats Historia, och särskilt på framställningen av den kvinnliga huvudprotagonisten.Det underliggande syftet är därmed att utforska möjligheterna för en feministisk pornografi eller erotika..

This thesis aims to analyse ontology, primarily as the word is used in the context of the Semantic Web. One of the main questions is how ontologies relate to classification and thesauri, two concepts well known within Library and Information Science. The vision of the Semantic Web, a more intelligent addition to the current World Wide Web, has raised the question of how to deal with information scattered over a multitude of locations, stored in different formats, written in different languages et cetera. This issue is in many ways similar to the classical problems encountered in library science: how to classify and categorise large amounts of information. The use of ontologies is one of the main steps leading to the Semantic Web, as well as a tool which can be used in other areas of information organisation and management.

Our aim in this study is to explore if the schoolchildren?s written language differs from the?National tests? in Swedish and from Facebook. We specifically want to see if we candiscover words and expressions mainly from the English language or other languages in the?National tests? in Swedish written by the schoolchildren in the ages between 18-20 yearsold. The methods that we used to discover the results in this study was; to interview threeteachers, have 30 schoolchildren answer a questionnaire survey, analyze 30 written ?Nationaltests? in Swedish by the schoolchildren and finally analyze two Facebook walls from twoschoolchildren.

This paper investigates the methods used by teachers when teaching elementary mathematics to children with Swedish as their second language. The original mathematical terminology derives from Latin, Greek and Arabic, this terminology is not of great importance in this paper, the everyday language spoken in elementary classes when teaching mathematical concepts and calculations to younger children is. The use of everyday language is an advantage for children with Swedish as their second language as mathematical problems presented in a more plain language is easier to comprehend and solve than problems in mere numerals. Special teachers in home language classes often have the task of clarifying the mathematical concepts, introduced to the children during mathematical lessons, in the pupils first acquired language. A qualitative method was used in this study.

This C-essay is a qualitative study designed to create a basis for understanding how managers involved in school affairs perceive the impact of merit points on students? chances to continue on to higher education and how this will affect individuals' life chances.The study is based on three interviews with managers involved in school affairs. In this paper grades, merit points and socioeconomic class differences are discussed.The aim of this paper is to answer the following questions:? What impact does merit points in language studies and the way different languages are valued, in the system, have for the individual and for society?? Who are the winners in the new grading system and who are the losers; how are different socioeconomic groups affected?The material was interpreted with the help of a report written by Ingrid Nordqvist and Monica Langerth Zetterman called "Secondary School competition field-a regional perspective", a paper written by Helen Raven who did a study on grades, national tests and social reproduction and the Frenchman Pierre Bourdieu's theories.The results show that class differences will increase and that it will be difficult to rise in the social hierarchy in the future..

The purpose of the study is to contribute knowledge about the representation of fiction authors who have written in languages other than Swedish in educational school books within the Swedish subject. This is done in relation to the school's promotion of cultural diversity, a globalized world and to the Swedish curriculum. The study is a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative analysis that takes its starting point in six educational books for the courses Swedish 1 and 2. The analysis shows that all study materials include a broad representation of authorships from Europe and the USA. The selection of authors from other parts of the world is, however, limited.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att undersöka engelskans påverkan på det svenska språket som den kommer till uttryck i svenska grundskolelevers inställning till och attityder till användning av engelska i svenskan.Här vill jag ta reda på hur eleverna kommer i kontakt med engelskan, hur ofta de använder engelska ord i sitt vardagliga språk och varför de använder engelska ord. Andra frågor som jag vill få besvarade är vilka engelska ord som används, om man föredrar engelsk stavning på engelska lånord eller svensk stavning. Slutligen vill jag också få besvarat om man föredrar engelska ord eller svenska motsvarigheter, om man förstår svenska meningar med lånord i, om man godtar svenska meningar med engelska lånord i och om man använder svenska meningar med engelska lånord i. Arbetet bygger på en enkätundersökning som gjorts på två grundskolor, en friskola och en kommunal skola. I undersökningen deltar 40 elever i år 9.

The purpose of our research was to explore the social situation of unaccompanied children. We also aimed to reveal the relation between their social situation and their identity development. The overall purpose were to describe their social situation, the value of significant others, how different languages influence their identity development and finally how their origin affects their future dreams.In order to achieve the best result in our research a qualitative method was used. This was based on qualitative interviews and was disposed around a very loose set of questions in order to let the interviewees lead the way. The analysis of the result was conducted on the basis of a set of theories and concepts in order to understand the identity development.

Purpose: The purpose with the essay is to examine how some teacher?s works with intercultural questions, if they are looking after student?s cultural background, earlier experiences and knowledge?s in their teaching. We have formulated three questions whom we want answer to.Method: The essay began with a theoretical research to get more knowledge of intercultural pedagogic. The study part is based on seven interviews in two schools in Södertälje, five with teachers and two with assistant principals. The conclusions of our essay are based on the results of our study.Result: The study shows that the two discourses ?national self-understanding? and ?the democratic credot? still lives and compete with each other.
