The aim is first to identify concept of citizenship and the dimensions of the same, in the political science theory, which can be crucial, to that a citizenship may be found available for people who have a cognitive delay. Thereafter examine the prevalence and significance of these, in policy documents from two different organizational forms, through an analysis, in the form of a discussion, on the basis of political science theories in the field. The study's aim in a reflective way, highlighting key requirements for an accessible citizenship for the target audience, and thereby clarify the priorities in daily activities that can support an emancipatory citizenship process for people who have a cognitive delay..

Today?s cell phones include more and more functionality, it is no longer uncommon to be able to connect to the Internet or take photos with the cell phone. In this thesis the question is if the cell phone users are interested in this new functionality. Are there people who are interested in a cell phone that in this thesis is called ?Basmobilen? (the entry level phone), which include the following functions; phone call, SMS, phone book, calling lists, clock and the possibility to change the call signal.

Elever i årskurs nio står inför ett val då de ska söka till gymnasiet. De blir informerade, av studie- och yrkesvägledarna och även av rektorerna på gymnasieskolorna, om de program som det finns att välja på i deras närhet. Vi har bestämt oss för att titta närmare på den här informationen, hur den ser ut och om alla program får lika mycket uppmärksamhet. Vi har valt att inrikta oss på det individuella programmet. Detta har lett följande frågeställningar: ? Vilken information får högstadieeleverna om individuella programmet? ? Hur presenteras informationen för eleverna på högstadiet? ? Vilka attityder har studie- och yrkesvägledare på högstadiet och rektorerna på gymnasieskolan till individuella programmet? För att nå fram till ett resultat har vi använt oss av viss litteraturgenomgång men främst av de intervjuer som vi har genomfört med sex stycken studie- och yrkesvägledare och två rektorer.

Syftet med det här arbetet är att utforska och undersöka om färg påverkar hur en miljö uppfattas. Miljön arbetet fokuserar på är placerad inom science fictiongenren. I konceptteckning för spelproduktion tecknas eller målas koncepten ofta gråskala för att sedan testas i olika färgkombinationer. Samma process och samma tekniker används vid framställande av bilden som är i fokus för undersökningen. För att framställa bilden gjordes studier på existerande science fictionkoncept och bilden arbetades fram via en iterativ process.Undersökningen genomfördes i form av en strukturerad intervju där tio studerande vid dataspelsutvecklingsprogrammet på Högskolan i Skövde medverkade.

Container Security Initiative was launched in 2002 by the US Customs and Border Patrol in order to secure the global flow of containers destined for USA. This thesis attempts to analyze Container Security Initiative in relation to a possible future scenario made by the weapons industry where the state's global traderoutes are being subject to militarization. A development which is partly based on the threat posed by global illegal trade. The latter is discussed and defined based on current research made by Carolyn Nordstrom, Moíses Naím and theories on the cosmopolitan perspective made by Ulrich Beck. Strategy documents concerning Container Security Initiative are then analyzed in terms of discourse to try to say something about what the program indicates.

 Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka vilka yrkes- och studiebakgrunder yrkesverksamma datalärare har och om olika bakgrund leder till skillnad i uppfattningar om deras yrke och utbildning. Dessutom syftar arbetet till att undersöka hur datalärare håller sina ämneskunskaper ajour och om det finns skillnader i fortbildning beroende på utbildning och yrkesbakgrund. För att besvara arbetets frågeställningar används en kartläggande kvantitativ enkätundersökning som besvaras av yrkesverksamma datalärare från hela landet. För att få fram resultaten görs vissa sambandsanalyser och dessutom presenteras deskriptiv statistik. Undersökningen visar att majoriteten av datalärarna saknar lärarbehörighet samt att ungefär hälften tidigare har arbetat utanför skola och har professionella tillämpningar inom sitt ämne.

The purpose of the study was to examine what possibilities and obstacles, according to the personnel and patients in a methadone treatment, exist in the patient's social rehabilitation. How does the methadone treatment encourage the patient's social rehabilitation, what possibilities/obstacles are there according to personnel and patients? What does the patient see as important aspects of his/her social rehabilitation and what importance does the methadone have on the treatment? The results show that there are difficulties for patients to rebuild their life, find employment, start new social networks and get by with everyday tasks. The support from friends and family will simplify the patient's social rehabilitation, otherwise they get isolated and alone. Patients feel that they are fighting for a successful treatment so that they can have a relationship with friends and families again.

Det finns inget generellt svar på frågan när en revisor anses vara culpös i samband med rådgivning, utan det måste vägas in olika omständigheter. Stor betydelse har revisorns professionsansvar, det vill säga de måttstockar och normer inom branschen som ligger till grund för culpabedömningen. När väl professionsansvaret har identifierats, så föreligger culpa om man handlar annorlunda än de normer som professionen satt upp. Likt en tratt har jag försökt smalna av forskningsfrågan ytterligare genom att göra en indelning i skatterådgivning, oklart rättsläge samt den pedagogiska plikten..

Syftet med denna rapport var att undersöka hur gymnasieelever ser på nyttan med matematiken och den gjordes som en jämförelse mellan två olika program. Vi använde oss av den kvantitativa metoden enkät för att få reda på omfattningen av elevernas uppfattning av nyttan. Därefter genomfördes elevintervjuer för att få en bredare bild av deras nytto-upplevelse. Samtal med lärare kompletterade vår bakgrundsförståelse för matematiken i de olika programmen. Vid enkätundersökningen kom vi fram till att eleverna i stort tror att de behöver matematiken men under intervjun hade de svårt att komma med exempel på vilken nytta de har haft eller kommer att ha av matematiken.

Liberal theorists often argue that there is an automatic link between ?free market? and ?democracy?, however this link is not evident in China. Title: What is important knowledge in social studies- An analyse of opinions among teachers in social studiesThe aim of this paper is to increase the awareness about how teachers in Social studies think about goals and substance in the subject. I also want to get a picture about what kinds of problems teacher?s experiences when teaching Social studies. My expectations told me that Social studies are complex to teach, because it derives from several university disciplines such as Political science, Economics, Sociology, Law and Geography, which I believe makes the subject harder to define and what to give priority to. Finally, I want to increase the awareness, if it seems to be any fundamental essence in Social studies as a subject.To achieve my goals with this paper I have studied relevant literature about Social studies.

The principal aim of this thesis is to test if extracts, produced by the automatic summarizer "Copernic Summarizer", are possible to use as abstracts. The aim is also to give a picture of what automatic summarization is and why it is motivated. Three questions are asked: What is automatic summarization and what can it be used for? Is it possible to replace the author-written abstracts with extracts from "Copernic Summarizer"? Is automatic summarization motivated for the different areas of use that are identified in the first question? An automatic summarizer is a program that is intended to summarize text automatically and it can be used for different purposes, for example for summarizing WebPages or scientific articles. To answer the second question an experiment is carried out.

Syftet med min studie var att undersöka om problemlösning i matematik gick att förena med användandet av digitala hjälpmedel/program ur ett elev- och lärarperspektiv. Mina frågeställningar rörde hur digitala program som verktyg påverkade matematikundervisningen och hur elever och lärare såg på att arbeta på detta sätt. Det har visat sig i olika rapporter och bland forskare att skolan i Sverige generellt är dålig på att använda digitala verktyg i matematikundervisningen. I skolans styrdokument står det tydligt att moderna verktyg ska användas i undervisningen. Vidare visar rapporter på att matematikundervisningen fortfarande tenderar att vara tyst räkning. Forskare menar att om man använder sig av digitala verktyg leder detta till samspel.

Stratego is a boardgame not very different from chess, that contains hidden information. Because of this, existing programs play at beginner level. The purpose of this thesis is to adjust a minimax algorithm so that it passes the demands of Stratego, and then build a Stratego agent around it. Tests with existing minimax algorithms leads to the development p-e-minimax. This algorithm uses two different values in its nodes to simulate the different information available to the agent and its opponent.
