This thesis deals with information provision to the knowledge intense biotechnology businesses of Ideon Science Park in Lund, Sweden. Previous research concerning the information needs of Science Park companies has been conducted from the information provider s perspective. Instead, we apply a user perspective to find out what information needs these companies have, and how they prefer to acquire information. Central terms are: information, -needs, -acquisition, -consciousness, -strategy, small and medium sized enterprises, scientists and engineers, information (resources) management, networks, tacit knowledge, knowledge transfer and innovative milieux. The companies need scientific and business information; the latter is easily obtained within Ideon.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.

The purpose of this master dissertation is to show an example of how to renovate three different parks in an area of national interest in Höganäs, Sweden aiming to deal with their heritage value as well as making them attractive to today?s user. The question formulation can be described as following: How can i as a landscape architect renovate parks with different characters conserving their existing qualities. By studying and documenting the park´s history and current usage and using methods of evaluating a park?s heritage value ( Kulturhistorisk värdering av bebyggelse, Unnerbäck 2002) i could conclude which qualities to conserve and suggest and motivate what features to add or renovate.

Vi har som examnesarbete utformat en informationsbroschyr åt Munktell Science Park (MSP), med hjälp av god textdesign har vi förmedlat MSP:s koncept till en bred målgrupp. Vi har haft fokus på texterna då det redan fanns en grafisk manual. Genom materialinsamling och undersökningar kom vi fram till hur vi på bästa sätt kunde producera den här informatinosbroschyren..

Förslag på opera vid ÅrstafältetÅrsta Parkopera ligger placerad som en entré till Årstafältet. Promenaden fram till opera- byggnaden gestaltas som en park inspirerad av 1700-talets engelska parker, barockoperans storhetstid, och fortsätter genom operans två huvudbyggnader för att öppna sig mot det vidsträckta fältet..

To perform a historical record of Beijers Park's development to date is about securing the tracks back in time. The historical record about the park tells not only the history of the park but the city, district, local residents and art of gardening. As the historical story is documented the necessary base for establishment of any care plans in the future and the base for cultural and historical value the park is made. Beijers park can in such work be treated alone or as part of the context of parks that were built during the same era in Malmö's history.Beijers park origin from the era of the late 1800s, when the entire green structure in Malmö changed. The park area today covers 12 hectares and is located in the district Kirseberg.

There are mainly two ways to transform the design of an existing park. You could either make a replanning of the park, an act that changes the design and the plant material in one swoop. Or you could use the management to change the expression of the park. To be able to develop the parks with the help of management, some form of goal is needed, that can make the management of the park strive towards an expression for the whole park as well as its individual parts. Among the documented goals, for individual parks and park management, which exist in the municipalities today, there seems to be a weak link between the all-embracing goals and the management that is carried out in the parks.

The aim of this research is to find out what environmental impact a wave power park has on the Swedish west coast by creating a consultation paper (?Samrådsunderlag?) for the Lysekilproject at Uppsala University. To highlight the complexity of the problem a system analytic approach was used and illustrated by a Causal Loop Diagram.The overall assessment of the Lysekilprojects wave power park at the Swedish west coast is that it will have a low impact on the environment. This is due to the relative small size of the wave power park and some technical solutions made with the environmental aspect in mind. Artificial reefs and a sanctuary for marine species are effects created by the wave power park and in the longer term the impact will give access to an untapped source of renewable energy, wave energy.

The landscape is a great asset for Göteborg as a city and places in the landscape are much used by the public. This diploma work deals with the question of how nature in Göteborg can become more accessible and how a place in it can be supplemented with new landscape elements. It is a proposal for a new urban park at Björlanda peninsula in the western part of Hisingen, Göteborg, which today belongs to the Swedish Armed Forces and is a part of the Nature-2000 area "Nordre älvs estuarium". The reason for choosing this place is that it is the only area around the costal area in Göteborg that has not been built on and that it contains a very varied landscape. The proposal is presented as three different broschures, dated 10-20 years ahead: A map of a possible system of urban parks including a detail of such a park, Västra Hisingen (the western parts of Hisingen) The idea with a system of urban parks is to make the landscape generally more accessible and maybe open it for people that do not use it today. Stadsdelen Väster i Lund har dålig tillgång till grönytor och en tydlig avsaknad av ett ordentligt stadsdelscentrum. Här finns dock stadens gamla Folkets park med potential att bli en grön mötesplats. Syftet med detta arbete är att göra en analys av Folkparkens potential och se till hur parken skulle kunna bli en mer attraktiv och funktionell samlingspunkt. Delvis baseras arbetet på empiriskt material i form av observationer och en enkätundersökning för att få fram vad Folkparkens besökare har för vanor och önskningar för området delvis baseras arbetet på kommunala dokument, tidigare inlämnade förslag, en jämförelse med andra fungerande parker och tidigare gjorda arbeten som berör planering av stadsrum vars teorier jag applicerat i mitt arbete. Resultatet av mitt arbete är utformat som en sammanfattning av inhämtat underlag, vilken jag sedan baserar min diskussion på.

Fisksätra has a historical background that goes back to the battle between Russia and Sweden that took place in 1719. This battle is known as "Slaget vid Stäket". Today there are plans to develop Fisksätra as a tourist destination where focus lays on the historic factor of the battlefield that took place there. As of this a project called the HAMN project has started to try to develop a new experience park at this destination unlike any other.The aim of this essay has been to study how much potential this experience park has to become a popular tourist destination in the future, while looking at the potential interest of the foreign tourists. This essay is written as an assignment for Göran Andersson, who is in charge of the tourism department at Södertörns Högskola.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en modell för att attrahera innovationsmöjligheter till Munktell Science Park i Eskilstuna. Detta gjorde författarna genom att från befintliga teorier deducera fram en hypotetisk modell. Modellen används inte för att skapa innovationer utan för att hitta komplexa problem. Det är lösningarna på de komplexa problemen som i sin tur kan vara innovationerna. Därför har vi kallat de komplexa problemen för innovationsmöjligheter. .

Begreppet ?fickpark? är en direktöversättning från det engelska ordet ?pocket park?vilket för det mesta syftar på en liten park med mycket innehåll. Det är ett relativt nytt begrepp inom den svenska planeringen. Den kommun som i Sverige jobbat mest aktivt med fickparker är Enköping. Parktypen kan vara användbar i takt med att städerna förtätas.

För att få nöjda gäster eller kunder är det för företag och verksamheter viktigt att arbeta med upplevelser. Speciellt gäller det för verksamheter med tjänstebaserade produkter. I denna explorativa studie undersöks om måltidsmiljön, i ett tjänstebaserat företag, kan påverka helhetssynen av företaget. I undersökningen genomfördes en förändring på måltidmiljön, mellan två olika grupper. Undersökningen tillämpades på konferensanläggningen Krinova Science Park, Kristianstad.
