Since the 19th century the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere hasincreased by 40 percent as an effect of the use of fossil energy sources.Increased concentration of CO2 will likely lead to increased temperature,changes in precipitation, rising sea level and increased frequency of extremeweather like storm events. A step to reduce emissions of CO2 and mitigateclimate change, for the property of Tagel, can be to adopt new silviculturalstrategies and analyse which is the most effective. As a result of that, threeScenarios was produced, business-as-usual (BAU), increased set aside landand energy. An introduction of windpower at Tagels estate (property) andeffects on carbon balance was also examined. By using the Heureka systemand LCA-analysis in this study, it showed that the Scenario of increased setaside land was the most efficient way to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2)emissions for the analysed period of 100 years.

Hur förhåller vi landskapsarkitekter oss till både brukarnas önskemål och klimatets förutsättningar? Måste vi se över ytanvändningen ? fördelningen av de markmaterial vi använder oss av på platserna vi skapar? Hur ser framtidens utomhusgolv ut?Jag har med detta arbete sökt nya vägar, material och tankar kring hur man i framtiden använder ytorna på bostadsgårdar och i offentlig miljö.

In Sweden plans to build high speed railways have been around since the early 1990s and the planshave developed to be more precised since. The future Swedish high-speed rail network is supposedto consist of two lines. Götalandsbanan; from Stockholm to Gothenburg, and Europabanan fromJönköping through the Öresund Region to Hamburg.The description of the aim to build high-speed railways in Sweden has in former reports always beento achieve rapid passenger traffic between big Scandinavian cities and Europe. There are almostnothing mentioned about the possibilities of high-speed transports of cargo on these railways. Thisstudy aims to clarify the freight transport market for Götalandsbanan and Europabanan.Today there is only one transport system with high-speed freight trains.

The public transport network in Täby commune consists currently of two types of bus line of whichboth belong to the category of feeder lines. The first type terminates at Danderyds sjukhus and feedsto the subway whereas the second type terminates at Täby centrum and feeds to Roslagsbanan, asuburban narrow-gauge railway system in northern Stockholm. The trunk bus line that connectsgreater parts of the commune with Danderyd is the ring line 604 and goes both clockwise (604H) andcounterclockwise (604V). The main negative aspect of this structure is the complicity in incorporatingit timetable-wise with other bus lines that share the same route, such as through Enebyberg.The goal of this project is to investigate the possibilities of splitting ring line 604 and connecting theends to two different bus routes that terminate at Täby centrum today. Apart from easing thecoordination with other bus lines through Enebyberg, the extension also creates new directconnections from various areas in Täby to Danderyds sjukhus.

The hydropower from Nissan River is of national interest and produces annually 230 GWh from the twelve power stations in the main flow. For modified waters a consideration between the power production and the biological values has to be made. This reports serves as a pre-study for Nissans Vattenråd. It tries to evaluate some of the biological values in the Nissan basin and map the power production in the area. And the size and value of lost power production from new fishways for the twelve stations in the main flow.The investment of new fishways is calculated using simplified templates with values from the business.

När det gäller design av augmented reality­markörer och platsbaserat berättande finns det många aspekter att ta hänsyn till för att skapa en djup och engagerande upplevelse för användaren. Det finns olika tekniska och kommunikativa faktorer att ta hänsyn till, bland annat måste markörerna vara igenkännbara som just markörer samtidigt som de måste vara tolkningsbara av bildigenkänningen i augmented reality­enheten. Mitt i denna konflikt ligger en designutmaning i vilket det estetiska uttrycket och berättandet måste passa in.Denna studie har genomförts som en kvalitativ fallstudie där scenarier och prototyper har utvecklats utifrån designmetoder som bland annat brainstormning och idéloggar baserat på teorier om designprinciper för augmented reality och berättande i olika medier. En intervju med en potentiell uppdragsgivare ligger delvis till grund för designarbetet. Det producerade materialet har utvärderats genom användbarhetstester samt observationer och intervjuer med ett antal testpersoner.Under arbetet utvecklades ?Naturens gång? ? en platsbaserad berättelse med tillhörande augmented reality­markörer.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the supply chain of thecompany and evaluate the potential economic savings in this area.
