The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine posts on bookblogs about the book, Cirkeln by Mats Strandberg and Sara Bergmark Elfgren and see how it has distributed amongst readers through social media and reader response. We want through this examine whether bookblogs have a place in the literary society, and in such cases, how this may take place. The Swedish Online bookshops Adlibris and Bokus is being used to find the blogposts to be examined in this thesis. The analysis is being implemented using content analysis and constructed encoding schemes. Interdisciplinary topics, like LIS and sociology of literature may have similar points of contact, which we want to highlight with this thesis.

This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. The thesis discusses what kind of emptiness that is described, what it does to me as a reader, and how it is connected to other works by Falkenland. Cultural politics of emotions by Sara ahmed, Uses of literature by Rita Felski and Pouvoirs de l?horreur by Julia Kristeva together form the theoretical framework.Blodbok is a poetry collection, about the loss of a mother.

Större delen av vårt arbete baseras på en vecka då vår lägenhet blev ett gömställe för Sara, efter att släktingar som hotat henne till livet, ännu en gång hittat henne. Idag är begreppet hedersmord något de flesta känner till. Dock har vi svårt att i den svenska kulturen sammankoppla hedern med mord. I vad grundar sig hedersmord, beror det på religion, kultur eller gamla seder? Vad är bakgrunden till att män dödar kvinnor för att upprätthålla en familjs heder? Vi vill belysa detta ämne och påvisa konsekvenser som drabbar de utsatta.

Sara Lidman?s second novel Hjortronlandet (1955) unfolds in the north of Sweden in the early 20th century. It describes the progress of modernity and the conflicting interests of an old local culture and a new more ?civilised? one. The two cultures are constituted by different value systems and in the novel they are represented by two neighbour communities.

I study how 51 people make shifting distinctions between nature and the past in relation to culture, the present and the future. By using the concept of Orientation of Sarah Ahmed I analyze how the informants direct themselves against nature, past and culture through a questionnaire, ob-servations and walk-alongs. I discuss how their ideas about nature and the past differ with their different starting points and are shaped through their physical meetings with them.

Image indexing research today is either conducted on a visual attribute level or on a higher semantic level, forming a semantic gap between the two. There is much to gain if research progress from the two fields is combined. Image retrieval using access points in both visual and semantic significations could improve retrieval and bridge the gap. In social media today, images are often the primary communication agent and the number of images on the web is increasing in an uncontrolled way. New and efficient ways to index and retrieve the images are needed.The purpose of this study is to examine if emotions could be a semantic access point for image retrieval and if folksonomy indexing is useful when searching for images that represent emotions.

A paranoid and shameful reading of Inger Christensens novel Azorno.The contagious feelings of paranoia and shame played a vital part in my first reading of the novel Azorno, written by the Danish poet Inger Christensen. In this essay, I?m letting those emotions direct the ?understanding? and analysis of the novel. In earlier research the focus has been to comprehend what the novel ?really is about?, and even though it has been mentioned that the form probably is a way to make the reader a visible constructer of  the novel?s ?meaning? the understanding has never been created by the affects that occurs during the reading.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie där vi använder diskursanalys som metod för att undersöka hur media framställer hedersmord och om detta har förändrats över tid. De mest uppmärksammade hedersmorden i Sverige är morden på Maisam Abed Ali (Sara), Pela Atroshi, Fadime Sahindal och Maria Barin Aydin och är föremål för vår granskning. Genom att undersöka de tidningsartiklar som skrevs i samband med morden på Sara, Pela och Fadime, 1996-2002, och jämföra dessa med de artiklar som skrevs efter mordet på Maria, 2012-2013, vill vi identifiera diskursiva skillnader. Vår teoretiska ram består av radikalfeministiskt-, kulturellt- och intersektionellt perspektiv som vi använder för att analysera vårt resultat. Det vi kan konstatera är att det skedde en gradvis skiftning av diskursen under den första perioden, där majoriteten av artiklarna till en början förde en debatt om huruvida hedersmord är kulturellt betingat eller en del av det universella patriarkala våldet.

Studien är genomförd på Ingseredsstiftelsen, vilken finns i Stadsmissionens regi sedan 1988. Ingseredsstiftelsen är ett boende för missbrukare och personer med psykisk ohälsa och tar emot män och kvinnor mellan 20-65 år. Man kan få en plats på boendet genom Lagen om rättspsykiatrisk vård (LRV), Lagen om psykiatrisk tvångsvård (LPT), Lagen om vård av unga (LVU), Lagen om vård av missbrukare (LVM) och Socialtjänstlagen (SoL). Fem av de anställda på boendet arbetar som kontaktpersoner vilka har som huvuduppgifter att följa socialsekreterarens arbetsplan och att göra en genomförandeplan utifrån denna. De ska också ta kontakt med olika myndigheter, hitta anhöriga men också se till att de boendes självförtroende ökar.Studien är kvalitativ och består av totalt åtta intervjuer med boende och personal samt två deltagande observationer.

Inledning: Strukturerade professionella riskbedömningar för våld, vilka inom polisen benämns som riskanalyser, är numera ett krav och en viktig del i det brottsförebyggande arbetet inom polisen i Sverige. Polisen använder i huvudsak tre checklistor för att bedöma risk: SARA: SV, SAM samt PATRIARK, vilka generellt upplevs som praktiskt användbara. Dock är det få polismyndigheter som arbetar aktivt och ändamålsenligt med dessa. Inom Polismyndigheten i Gävleborgs län arbetar personsäkerhetsenheten för att främja tillämpningen av riskanalyserna och vi önskar bidra till att utveckla detta arbete. Syfte: Utifrån polisers upplevelser undersöka förutsättningar för och begränsningar av de strukturerade riskanalysernas tillämpning inom Polismyndigheten i Gävleborgs län.
