Användning av prestationshöjande- eller prestationsåterställande läkemedel har ökat inom många av hästsportens tävlingsdiscipliner. För att motverka detta arbetar anti-doping-laboratorier ständigt med att förfina sina analysmetoder för påvisande av otillåtna substanser. En konsekvens av detta är att även tillåtna läkemedel kan spåras under mycket lång tid efter behandling vilket har lett till ett behov av rapporteringsnivåer för läkemedel som glukokortikoider. Detta för att irrelevanta koncentrationer i plasma och urin med säkerhet kan bedömas ej ha effekt och därför ge ett negativt svar vid dopingkontroll. Ett projekt pågår just nu för att fastställa ett samband mellan plasma- och urinkoncentration med och effekt vilket kommer ligga till grund för ett fastställande av rapporteringsnivåer och adekvata karenstider. Studiens syfte är att, som en liten del i projektet, undersöka möjligheten att analysera proteinuttrycket av interleukin-10 i plasma hos häst samt att undersöka hur dexametason påverkar interleukin-10 över tid. Sex varmblodstravare deltog sammanlagt under 2 försök där olika koncentrationer med dexametason alternativt placebo gavs intravenöst över 3 timmar.

Rapportens huvudsyfte är att ta fram en isoleringskombination av högpresterande material, som ska bidra till ett förbättrat U-värde och reducerad väggtjocklek. Konstruktionen är baserad på en befintlig Sandwichvägg från Strängbetong, där författarna ersatt den ursprungliga isoleringen med det utvecklade isolerskiktet för att slutligen studera väggarna med lika villkor. Den framtagna väggens isolerings- förmåga presenteras genom handberäkningar, där det erhålls U-värde och temperaturfördelningar mellan elementens olika skikt vid stationära förhållanden. Det har även utförts värmesimuleringar för att analysera samma fysikaliska faktorer dock baserat på 3D förhållanden.I samarbete med företag har flera högpresterande isoleringsmaterial valts ut att ingå i väggkonstruktionen. Genom fördjupade studier av materialens fysikaliska egenskaper kunde en komplett isoleringskombination utvecklas och fick namnet InsuFlex.

Today´s roofing of dwelling houses is a very time consuming procedure, which includes a lot of different steps on the construction site. Not only does it cost a lot of money, but often do problems with rot and mold occur in the attics of houses today. The use of prefabricated modules has seen a great breakthrough in the field of construction of dwelling houses; at least when it comes to foundations and walls, where this type of approach makes the construction process way more efficient. What no one previous has succeeded to develop is a corresponding system for roofs that meets the demands of a dwelling house. Accordingly the goal of PlusTak has been to come up with a proper module system for roofing of dwelling houses, where the roofing is completed to meet the demands of the Scandinavian market. During the project a lot of effort has been put into customer contacts and the usability of the product, as well in the manufacturing process as on the construction site. This development has gone hand in hand with several practical tests and tryouts.

All new households were to be constructed with "near zero energy house standards" (NZE-house) by the year of 2020. The ambition to construct energy-efficient buildings had to increase rapidly in the spring of 2013.The purpose of this report was to increase the interest for building contractors to construct apartment buildings with passive house standards. By locating and evaluating experiences from an existing passive house a case study including interviews, field visits and document analysis was made. Research of literature regarding other passive houses in Sweden also helped to answer the following questions:- What positive and negative experiences have the study of the passive house meant to the involved stakeholders and residents?- What improvements can be made based on identified experiences?- How can an apartment building be designed as a passive house based on possible improvements?By collecting good and bad experiences, as well as improvements and potential design proposals, a diagram was created designed as a tool for developers when constructing apartment buildings with passive house standards.

Oftast uppträder sjukdomen i efterlöpet då tiken står under progesteronpåverkan vilket gör livmodern mer mottaglig för bakteriella infektioner. Enligt studier är Escherichia coli den bakterie som vanligen isoleras från livmodern. Bakterierna härstammar troligtvis från tikens normalflora eller från urinvägarna. Kliniska symptom på livmoderinflammation kan vara sänkt allmäntillstånd, variga flytningar (om cervix är öppen), polyuri, polydipsi, feber, diarré och kräkningar.
