Utifrån särlingen, bonden, uppfinnaren, mytens och havets man Johan August Gustafsson (1852-1932) undersöks hans konstnärskap med begreppen original, modernitet och primitivism samt djuppsykologins och modernitetens framväxt.I uppsatsen analyseras ett urval av åtta artefakter med en hjälp av en semiotisk bildanalys och en stilanalys med syfte att försöka finna en eventuell förändring i hans konstnärskap och om detta var något som förväntades av särlingars konst eller om den förväntades vara genuin.Författaren framhåller problematiken mellan skillnaden att vara erkänd konstnär och att få stämpel som original, mot att vara original med strävan att bli erkänd som konstnär. J.A.G. tillhörde den senare kategorin och nådde inte sitt mål under sin livstid, men som särlingars konst har de en tendens att bli erkända först efter sin död..

Uppsatsen avser att utreda hur August Strindbergs pjäs Fröken Julie avspeglar samtidens bild av kvinnan som sjuklig varelse. Enligt min mening tilltar behovet av att definiera kvinnan som biologiskt svag, i takt med kraven om jämlikhet mellan könen. Uppsatsen argumenterar för Julie som en representant för emancipationskvinnan. Denna, för mannen, hotfulla varelse som inkräktade på hans revir. Julie måste därmed avväpnas, göras svag, sjuk och styrd av sin sexualitet för att sedan utplånas.

The object with this thesis is to evaluate which of the catch crops oil radish and white mustard in combination with establishment method, give the most effective nitrogen uptake. The main purpose of the catch crops is to reduce leakage of nitrogen. They are sown after the main crop and killed before the next crop. In Sweden the farmers gets subsidies to establish catch crops. The thesis is limited to the trail L3-9010 sited at HS- Malmöhus, Borgeby Gård, 237 91 Bjärred, Sweden, 2007. Only treatments with oil radish, white mustard and the reference treatments were studied.

Vårt examensarbete är baserat på ett behov från August Lundh AB i Eskilstuna, att designa om en befintlig engångsmingelbricka till en flergångsmingelbricka. Brickan ska kunna användas med August Lundh ABs befintliga kollektion med vin ? och ölglas.Arbetet har utgått ifrån den designprocess som SVID, Stiftelsen Svensk Industridesign, har tagit fram. Denna process består av olika steg: Utgångspunkt, användarstudier, koncept & visualisering, utvärdering & konceptval, justering & genomförande samt uppföljning & utvärdering. Den sista punkten har vi avgränsat oss ifrån och lagt på uppdragsgivaren.De verktyg och studier som har varit nödvändiga för vårt arbete har beskrivits i punkten användarstudier.

This study is an evaluation of the school Liljanskolan, which is a ?therapy-school? for children between the ages of seven and twelve with psychosocial problems. These problems can concern difficulties interacting with adults as well as children, acting out, difficulty concentrating and anxiety. Liljanskolan has a high number of professionals, both teachers and treaters, and few children. The aim of the study was to increase the understanding of how children that have attended Liljanskolan have progressed during their time at the school with focus on their behaviour in school, ability to interact with adults and children, anger management and self-confidence.

This literature review aims to investigate, expose and explain August Strindberg's religious position in his partly autobiographical work Inferno, published in Swedish in 1897, in relation to Peter Berger's socialization theory. Strindberg says in the beginning of Inferno that he goes from being an atheist, occultist and Swedenborgian to finally return to his ancestral religion, Christianity. This is questionable, as Strindberg seems to be religious in its atheistic era, and occultist during his Christian period. Strindberg's own religious views seem not always match what he portrays, compared to what he writes in his correspondence and diary entries. This literature review aims to highlight the influences of Strindberg affected to clarify his religiosity which is implicitly and explicitly depicted in Inferno.

Although Social Democratic Memoirs comprise an extensive material, these texts have not attracted any systematic analysis as a distinct and yet varied form of textual genre. The focus in this MA-paper is the Swedish Social Democratic Memoir as a rhetoric genre. The main primary material is memoirs of the pioneer August Palm (1849?1922), the father of the nation Tage Erlander (1901?1985) and the political leader Göran Persson (1949?), published 1905, 1972?82 and 2007, respectively.The general aim is to find out what is the driving power of the memoirs and, more specifically, to shed light on the images of the party history and the history of the welfare state. The method is a comparative analysis of these texts.

Engelfors Trilogy is a three-part fantasy novel consisting of Circle, Fire and The key, written by Mats Strandberg and Sara Bergmark Elfgrens. Circle was nominated for the August Prize award 2011, which is a literary prize awarded each year. The book has also been translated into 25 different languages. Fire came out in August 2013 and is the part of the novel that I will concentrate on in these theses. What I will do in this paper is a queer feminist analysis of the novel's main characters in the book Fire.
