The background to this paper is the fact that many products are demonstrated to show the consumer value of the product. This is generally the fact when it comes to agricultural products, such as tractors. The growing number of models makes this even more import for the retailer to perform a demonstration that really catches the interest of a prospect customer. One problem is that these demonstrations are expensive and many small retailers have difficulties to afford demonstrations of every model. Together with Åhmans Traktorcentrum AB a market investigation was conducted. The company has its primary sales area in the region of Östergötland and north part of Småland. Åhmans Traktorcentrum AB is a John Deere dealer.

Sammanfattning Syftet med min undersökning är att hjälpa skolan att bli bättre i sitt arbete med elevdemokrati. Genom intervjuer vill jag få fram svar på mina frågeställningar och se vad eleverna tycker om skolans arbete med elevdemokrati och hur de kan påverka sin situation i skolan. Frågeställningarna är: Tycker eleverna att de kan påverka undervisningen i skolan? Hur går eleverna till väga för att påverka utbildningen? Vad anser eleverna att ökad elevdemokrati kan ge för resultat? Metoden som användes i studien var semistrukturerade intervjuer. Det användes för att respondenterna skulle kunna prata friare om ämnet och få mer djup i svaren.

I den här uppsatsen behandlas det könsneutrala pronomenet hen, som har debatterats livligt under 2012. Tidigare studier har visat att ordet främst är etablerat i hbtq- och feministkretsar och att det framför allt fyller en funktion i att problematisera kön. Uppsatsens syfte är att närmare beskriva betydelser och funktioner för ordet hen samt att undersöka huruvida ordet i dag förekommer i kontexter som inte är direkt knutna till feministisk eller hbtq-relaterad verksamhet.Uppsatsens teoridel behandlar feministisk språkteori och språkvårdsteori, främst enligt Cameron (1992) och Pauwels (1998; 2003). Här redogörs också för bakgrunden till ordet hen samt några av de queerteoretiska och skrivtekniska motiv som har anförts för att införa ett könsneutralt pronomen.I studien analyseras användningen av hen i 100 bloggtexter och 100 tidnings­texter, dvs. 200 belägg, från hösten 2012 utifrån morfosyntaktiska, funktionella och kontextuella perspek­tiv.

 The 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections were in many ways special, where the USA got its first president of Afro-American origin, Barack Obama. The elections will also be historical since the great use of social medias - as the community Facebook, the video sharing site YouTube and web based diaries, blogs - broke through during the campaigns. This study's purpose was to examine how a few members of the Swedish parliament described the result of the Presidential Elections in their blogs. The main question - how the election results were described in the blogs - was divided into three themes, created on the basis of the blog's content.

The treaty shall then be used on the Treaty of Lisbon as it can be seen as a contract between the European states to create an entity in the shape of the European Union with the power to defend Europe from the unrest created by globalization.My question for this was as follows:Is the new treaty for the European Union acceptable as a new social contract according to the social contract theories?During my research the following criteria?s for a social contract was found:1.

This pre-study investigates the possibility of U-value measurements through an acoustic method. A hypothesis about an acoustic model built on acoustic theories combined with U-value theories is presented to answer the questions: ? Can U-value theory be combined with acoustic theories? ? Can the coefficient of heat be affirmed trough an acoustic measurement? The idea for this dissertation begun with a logical idea in mathematical similarity, between the coefficient of heat transmission units and sound intensity units. The U-value theory is based on assumptions such as initial resistance for inner walls and initial resistance for outer walls. The resistance in the material is interpreted through sound intensity theory. The argument is built upon mass law theory, which means if the frequency or thickness of the material layer doubles it implies an increase of sound reduction by 6 dB.

My goal with this thesis was to investigate how educational material in the subjects of history, geography and social studies relate to the fact that Sweden has a history marked by prejudice and racism.I have chosen to focus on four areas in the Swedish history that I think deserves some special attention, these four areas have been: the Swedish slave trade on the island of Saint Barthelemy in the eighteenth century, Swedish eugenics and oppression of the Sami people, forced sterilization services during the twentieth century and Sweden's aid and concessions to Nazi Germany during World War II. With these areas in focus I?ve studied three textbooks in the courses Geography A, Civics A and History A to se how they deal with prejudice and racism in the Swedish history.The result I have come to is that none of the books addresses all four of the areas I?ve focused on. Even if the books are taken as a whole the image that they convey is not adequate. In the event that the four areas that I?ve focused on been mentioned the information have been scant and rarely, if ever, has Sweden been paired with phenomenons like racism, slavery, colonialism, eugenics, forced sterilization, etc.

?Liberal Democracy? is a common term in political theory, and it is used as if it had a commonly accepted referent, with both normative and descriptive content. This is certainly the case in democratic theory, where it on the one hand seems to refer to a normative democratic model; on the other hand it is used descriptively, to refer to real-life democracies. The deliberative democratic sub-field is not an exception; on the contrary, the term is frequently used albeit rarely defined; yet the concept it refers to is supposedly developed enough to allow detailed propositions about its citizens?s political behaviour.This essay is an attempt to analyze how Liberal Democracy is used by three deliberative democrats (Jürgen Habermas, John Dryzek and Stephen Elstub), in order to understand the democratic model (or models), whether normative or descriptive, they refer to.

Med hjälp av filosofen John Rawls definition av rättvisa och David Beetham finner uppsatsen att dagens system med tv-licens dels skapar ett rättviseproblem och ett legitimitetsunderskott inom vissa grupper i samhället.
