The aim of the study is to investigate pupils? attitudes to and experiences of reading aloud by the teacher in grade 1. The study answers questions about how the pupils perceive the reading aloud, what they think they learn from it, and what books they prefer the teacher to read from. The study was conducted with the aid of semi-structured interviews with eleven pupils, six girls and five boys. The study shows that the pupils have a great deal to say about reading aloud.

The aim of the study was to investigate the students´ attitudes towards mathematics, their knowledge in the subject area they find the least interesting and whether laborative/practical working methods could awaken their interest and curiosity. During our work, we have looked into previous studies regarding girls´ and boys´ attitude and performance in mathematics. We handed out surveys to students in grade 9 at a School with many people from other cultures and nationalities in Malmö in order to find the answers to our questions. The result showed that most of the students thought that the subject area "scaling" was the least interesting. The implemented action program was a laborative/practical task within the "scaling" area.

Kärr i områden med kalkberggrund är oftast artrika, med flera växt- och djurarter knutna till just dem. Därför är de viktigt att de sköts på ett långsiktigt hållbart sätt. Bernstorps mosse ligger strax utanför Malmö i ett område som präglas av både intensivt jordbruk och utbyggnaden av varuhus och industrier. Uppsatsens syfte har varit att granska hur kärrets sköts just nu och vad som eventuellt kan göras bättre i skötselarbetet.

Abstract:Today many adolescents have access to computers and mobile phones.  They prefer to socialize through these means which has led to a new kind of bullying, the electronic bullying. The purpose of this study has been to examine the electronic bullying from the perspective of gender, anonymity and the consequences that it may lead to. We have chosen a quantitative approach by using a questionnaire survey targeting young people between the ages of 15-16 years in Kalmar county. 163 respondents took part in the survey, 78 girls and 85 boys. The gathered material is presented by means of contingency tables and has been interpreted by gender socialization, deindividuation and dehumanization.

The aim with this study was to find out how young people at age 16-19 years in Kalmar, Sweden use and interact through Facebook. The questions in our questionnaire were based on three themes, these are; friendship relations on Facebook, what influence Facebook has on young people and how they choose to present themselves on Facebook. The theory that was applied on this study is of social-psychological kind. We chose the theory because we figured it would be suitable to further explain and dispute the aim of the study. The result shows that many different variables can matter in a study like this. We chose to look at a few, such as for example sex and age and we found out that there is a great difference between the way girls and boys use Facebook and how they choose to present themselves in this social media. Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att undersöka hur en grupp unga andraspråkstalare tar sig an en klassisk, äldre text skriven på ett förhållandesvis ålderdomligt språk, Selma Lagerlöfs saga Bortbytingen, med hjälp av dramapedagogiska övningar samt genom gestaltning och återberättande av den litterära texten. Metoden som används för att samla in material till studien är en triangulering av flera kvalitativa grepp: inspelade intervjuer, dels en fokusgruppintervju av eleverna, och dels en enskild intervju av deras sas-lärare; frågeformulär med enskilda svar från eleverna och deras lärare; loggböcker från eleverna och deras observerande lärare samt den deltagande forskaren; inspelningar av fem arbetspass inklusive det avslutande uppspelet.Resultaten visar att dramapedagogiskt arbete i samklang med en äldre text vars språk inte är omedelbart gångbart för nutida skolelever gav eleverna verktyg för att ta sig an textens innehåll och språkliga form, återberätta med egna ord, lära sig nya ord och uttryck, och leder till en ökad medvetenhet om svenska språket då och nu..

 Language is an important indicator of the interdisciplinarity of a certain subject. Therefore this study evaluates the use of central geographical words and concepts, by teachers and students, in seven communal, non-optional subjects in a Swedish upper secondary school. This study provides results after observations of seven subjects on seven occasions, at one upper secondary school. This study shows that by a method of observation, central geographical concepts were used by teachers and students at various extents. Furthermore, the observations provide results of the concept use by over 100 students and 12 teachers.

The purpose of this master thesis is to examine if booktalk is a good method for stimulating reading based on interviews and observations with two classes of pupils in the intermediate level of the Swedish nine-year compulsory school. Our aim is also to study the reading environment regarding of Aidan Chambers' factors about what is indispensable for a good environment for the children. The factors are: Time for reading, time for reading aloud, the stock of books and conversations about books. The study is based on interviews with 38 pupils, two booktalkers and two teachers in two different cities. It also contains two observations of booktalk.
