Examensarbetet handlar om hur vi skapar en interaktiv saga med matematiska utmaningar som vi berättar på två förskolor. Vi vill se hur barnen agerar och reagerar.

På uppdrag av Mälarenergi har jag skapat ett undervisningsmaterial som behandlar vatten- och avloppsreningsprocessen. Undervisningsmaterialet består av en saga som beskriver vad som händer när vi använder toaletten som sopnedkast samt en lärarhandledning som innehåller experiment där barnen själva är delaktiga i undervisningen. Syftet är att göra eleverna miljömedvetna och att man inte ska använda avloppet som sopnedkast. Förhoppningsvis sprider miljöengagerade elever sin kunskap vidare till sin omgivning och miljöengagemanget grundläggs tidigt hos barn/elev..

Den här studien utforskar deltagande kring det populärkulturella fenomenetThe Twilight Saga. Ett fenomen som både utgörs av fandom och kommersiell franchise. Fokus ligger på hur praktiker utvecklats fördeltagande på Internet. Materialet är både fansidor ägda och administreradeav enskilda fans och webbsidor som representerar aktörer inom franchise.Syftet är att undersöka relationen mellan fandom och franchise. Det för attundersöka karaktären av deltagande när fans har sina egna kanaler för attpublicera och producera material.

Uppsatsen behandlar "Gösta Berlings Saga" och framförallt Gösta Berling som en föränderling karaktär samt en tolkning av hur han förändras genom bokens gång. Uppsatsen handlar om hur olika händelser och andra karaktärer i boken påverkar Gösta Berling och hur han lever i en illusion som han inte är förmögen att ta sig ur med egna krafter. Objective:This study aimed to investigate the correlation between physical activity level (PAL), measured with activity diary and accelerometer, among overweight and obese children and adolescents. The aim was also to study differences in PAL between girls and boys.Design:55 children and adolescents, whom been subjected to a physical activity registration with a physical activity diary and accelerometer during three or four days, were included in this study. From the data received from the children?s journal records PAL was calculated and compiled for statistic analysis.Results:The results of the study showed that the children underestimated their physical activity level when measured with activity diary, in comparison with the physical activity level measured with accelerometer. Differences between girl and boys PAL values were not statistically significant, although the girls PAL values from the accelerometer, but not from the activity diary, reached a moderate activity level according to Nordic nutrition recommendation.

ABSTRACTThe purpose with the investigation was to find if there is a relation between daily health active and too reusing theoretic learning for health promotion school?s pupil. In the investigation I have focused into if the Health promotion school?s student has better result at the nation?s test (NT) in Swedish, English and in mathematic in the fifths grade, than the ordinary school that isn?t health promotion school. The personal feelings of the two schools are that there is a connection between health active and too reusing theoretic learning.

The purpose with this study has been to understand and analyze how teachers, working with children in the ages of 1-3 years, understand and work with the concepts of gender and equality in preschool. The study has been completed through interviews and observations and is based on three key questions, which are: How pedagogues in the pre-school interpret the concepts of genus and equality? How are boys respectively girls received and treated by the pedagogue in the pre-school? What similarities and/or differences can be seen in the way that the preschool pedagogue treats boys and girls? The study's method is based on a qualitative approach. The main research methods for this study are observations and interviews. I have been interviewing three teachers from the same pre-school, located in a suburb in Stockholm as well as observed them during work.

In this work, I have studied whether if one can detect AD / HD in preschool. I have read some literature and searched on the Internet. I have also tried to get to interview people who are familiar with this topic, which has not been easy. I have questioned 13 persons if they would participate in an interview, but most have refused because they do not have time. I succeeded anyhow to get three persons, two special educators and a nurse on the BVC.

Selma Lagerlöf var en mångsidig författare med skiftande religiösa föreställningar och litteraturvetaren Sven Stolpe har lyft fram flera av de andliga element som förekommer i författarens romaner, brev och dagböcker. Utifrån hans teori om Lagerlöfs tro har vi undersökt dessa drag i tre av författarens verk och tolkat dessa med inspiration från den hermeneutiska metoden. Romanerna är Gösta Berlings saga, Herr Arnes penningar och Körkarlen.Frågorna vi har utgått ifrån är:Vad visar Lagerlöf för exempel på luthersk kristendom, katolicism, folktro, och andra ockulta läror i Gösta Berlings saga, Herr Arnes penningar och Körkarlen?Hur gör Lagerlöf för att förena dessa?Finns det några tendenser till att de olika trosföreställningarna ställs emot varandra och i så fall hur?I texterna vi studerat har vi funnit ett antal detaljer och motiv som kan förknippas med de olika andliga föreställningarna. Lagerlöf tar upp Gud, Jesus och djävulen men visar även prov på spiritistiska och teosofiska influenser.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the opinions of young people, age 14-16, at a school in a middle-sized city in Sweden, concerning narcotics. The questions we asked ourselves were;-What are young peoples' ideas of narcotics?-What do young people imagine when they think of a drug addict?-What reasons do young people give to start using narcotics?-What gender-related opinions do young people have regarding drug abuse?-What do young people think about legalization of narcotics?For this purpose we interviewed six girls and six boys. We interviewed them one at a time, for about an hour each. We used a qualitative method for the interviews.The young people in our study described narcotics as "dangerous".

The aim of this thesis is to study and analyze a village in the southern of Sweden called Gnosjö, which is famous for a special spirit of industrial success and entrepreneurship. Gnosjö has been successful and famous for many years but is now standing in front of several threats, like a growing number of out moving inhabitants, a low standard of education and difficulties for women to make carrier. Trying to reduce the threat of young inhabitants moving out, a new education program started three years ago with the purpose to make young students to be more interested in the technical development of the industry and make them stay in the district and hopefully be entrepreneurs.The research questions are; which consequences does ?Entekprogrammet? and the background of the students have on the students view on the spirit of Gnosjö, carrier in the local industries and wish of staying or moving from Gnosjö. Furthermore, I want to see if there are any differences between the girls and the boys, does sex have an influence on the view at the future? The study is made by qualitative and quantitative method.

The most common neuropsychiatric diagnose among children and adolescents in Swedish schools today is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Many of these pupils are in need of special support and it is therefore important that special teachers and special educational needs coordinators (SENCO:s) have the competence required to meet their needs. The purpose of this essay was to study special teacher and SENCO students? knowledge and attitudes regarding ADHD. This was done using a norm critical and gender perspective.

AbstractIn this study. I have compared four different schools, two preschools and two compulsory schools. My purpose has been to get a view of, to which extent they use technology in their education.I have also compared boys and girls.The result has been achieved with the aid of questionnaires.It shows that the pedagogues in the preschool, think they use technology every day. They use it in their games, experiments, food situations and even when the children are dressing them selves.The pedagogues in the compulsory schools work with technology, without reffering to the actual concept. They use the nature and experiments, to involve the children in technology.One of the schools has a film project.

This Master's thesis explores representations of sexual agency in contemporary, Swedish novels for young adults. Using a representational theory approach the thesis analyzes 24 novels published in 2000 ? 2013. Addressing the following research questions: how is sexual agency constructed and regulated relative to gender performativity in Swedish novels for young adults? How are situations of sexual abuse and sexual ?grey zones? (situations that border on abuse) represented and being made intelligible in the texts? What are the consequences of representations of sexual agency? In the readings of the novels discourse analysis and theories on cultural representation and power have served as the critical points of entry, as well as the methodological basis for the study.

Gross motor skills among Swedish pupils. An overview of functional motor abilities among Swedish children and adolescents.IntroductionPhysical Education (PE) teachers in Sweden have noticed that pupils are getting worse in their ability to manage gross motor skills and in their aerobic practice. The gross motor skills and coordinative skills are the solid ground for sports and other health activities. If not developing their gross motor skill children tends to avoid taking part in games and sports. The benefits of sports and outdoor activities such as social and health benefits can therefore be missed.
