Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka det laborativa arbetssättet i skolan utifrån ett lärarperspektiv. När och hur kan man använda laborativa material för att förbättra matematikundervisningen? Vi har försökt att besvara dessa frågor med hjälp av lärarintervjuer. Resultatet visar att lärarna i studien anser att fördelar med laborativ undervisning framförallt innebär att det blir konkret för eleverna och det öppnar möjligheter att koppla den abstrakta matematiken i läromedlet till elevernas förkunskaper i matematik. De menar vidare att laborationer är lustfyllt och att detta i sin tur kan leda till att eleverna blir mer motiverade till matematik.

Döden är oundviklig. Alla kommer vi att dö och alla omkring oss kommer också att dö. Flera gånger varje dag förlorar något barn en förälder. Ett barn som blir kvar att överleva och leva i sorg. Eftersom det händer så plötsligt anser vi att ett ?krispaket om arbete med döden? vore en självklarhet på alla förskolor som komplement till krisplanen.

This paper deals with the question of neolithisation of Southern Scandinavia. The main goal is to give an overview of three theories regarding how agriculture and livestock breeding was introduced to the Southern Scandinavia. These are as follows: the immigration theory, the socio-economic theory and the historical explanation theory. Furthermore it is investigated which theory has the most probably support in material culture. There are obvious difficulties in interpreting the archaeological material.

In all equestrian sports except for individual voltige, men and women compete on equal terms, which otherwise is very rare in sports. This study examines from a gender perspective how female and male riders are reffered to by expert commentators in competitions. The aim is to see if there are differences in how the riders are depicted and mentioned based on gender. The material consists of comments about eight rides, four performed by female riders and four by male riders, from two large international world cup competitions in dressage, broadcasted on SVT in 2012 and 2013. The material has been transcribed and then analyzed using content analytic method with a quantitative and a qualitative part.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude of teachers regarding including democratic behaviour when grading students in social science. The purpose is also to investigate whether the teachers consider there to be a conflict between the right of freedom of speech and the democratic values that the school is supposed to make sure the students have when they graduate. The study also investigates the problems political decisions encounters when going from theory to reality.The theory of Ulf Petäjä on why the freedom of speechs is important, Robert Dahls theory about the democratic process and Anders Sannerstedts theory about converting political decisions to reality is what this study is based on.The study was carried out at three different schools; Teleborg Centrum, Växjö, Dackeskolan, Tingsryd and Centralskolan, Virserum ranging from the spring of 2006 and the spring of 2007. The method used except from litterature studies was interviews with active teachers.This study shows that teachers don?t think it?s acceptable to grade students based on their political ideology.

Dust, our smallest common denominator                                                                                                                                                                 Charlotta Lindvall ABSTRACT  I find it fascinating to know that we are all made of the same material as the stars and that everything is connected to each other and in a constant movement and transformation, a recycle of material. We are all made of stardust. In fact all life is sprung out of dust.In my essay I investigate the dust and ask the question if there are any traces in the dust. I look at the history of the dust and how it has affected us and our world through the decades. What does this small and airy but oh so unappreciated dust tell us? Why do we want to get rid of it? Is it possible to find a sense of belonging in the big context by investigating the dust and its origin and could I transform such a low material as dust into something magic that makes people reflect on our origin and belonging and how everything is connected? In my work I use dust as a material and in the essay I compare my work with other artists who have worked with dust as a material.Dust is everywhere because its source is from everything.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur två verksamma lärare i årskurs ett kan arbeta med läs- och skrivundervisning. Det empiriska material som har samlats in utgörs av kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer och kvalitativa observationer. Arbetets resultat visar att lärarna har olika teoretiska utgångspunkter vid planeringen av undervisningen. Utifrån arbetets resultat dras två slutsatser, nämligen att två verksamma lärare lägger upp sin läs- och skrivundervisning på olika sätt, vilket leder till att de använder olika arbetsmetoder och material. Slutsatsen är också att lärarna tillämpar de svenskämnesdidaktiska frågorna i olika hög grad vid planering av sin undervisning..

Background:The new guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation states that the family should be given the opportunity to be present at the resuscitation of a close relative. A cardiac arrest is an emotional experience for the family. In addition to being part of the resuscitation effort, the nurse also needs to take care of the family.Aim:The aim of this study was to describe nurses' experiences of family presence during resuscitation.Method:A literature review has been made of 13 studies where differences and similarities were analyzed. The articles were published between the years of 2009 ? 2013Result:The nurses' experiences were divided into three categories; Factors that affect family presence, The nurse' experience surrounding the presence of the family, Factors affecting family presence in the resuscitation room.

This qualitative research overview consists of the State of knowledge about people with dual diagnosis. The focus is on what Psychiatry reform meant for people with mental disabilities. Author`s ambition has been to consolidate current understanding in the problem area. The purpose of the paper is to make an analysis of the State of knowledge concerning individuals within psychiatry with simultaneously addiction problems. The issues that will be processed are: what it means to live with dual diagnosis, how to coordinate cooperation efforts, and what is the evidence-based mode.

Denna rapport ger en bild över luftfilteroch dess funktioner. Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka hur elektriskt ledande luftfilter tillsammans med en joniseringsenhet fungerar samt hur de står sig i förhållande till de mekaniska.Det låg även i syftet att titta på hur andra parametrar påverkar filtrering såsom tjocklek och innehåll av olika andel konduktivt material. Bakgrunden till arbetet var att VokesAir AB hade testat att tillverka elektriskt ledande filter med jonisering i filtret vilket hade fungerat i lite skala men inte i större. Det gjorde att man i detta arbete ville titta på om det kunde fungera om man satte joniseringen utanför filtret istället. Nio stycken luftfilter tillverkades i ennon-woven konstruktion med olika andel konduktivt material och i olika tjocklekar.

This thesis work was made to optimize the writing of the construction specificationsat FKA. These construction specifications are created before each plant modificationsthat is started because requirements from the Swedish radiation safety authority(SSM) and internally on Forsmarks nuclear group as constructions / implementationdocumentationThe study was done through seven interviews of two people at three different groupsinvolved in the construction specification and an interview from the group accreditedverification. The four selected groups were selected through an extensive analyticalwork resulted in an elimination matrix where these four groups was considered to bemost involved with the construction specification.The questions asked to these individuals were based on the instructions and sampletext that are described in the construction specification. To ensure the quality of thethesis were to limit itself to the chapters that were considered most relevant toimprove. The analysis revealed a number of points that should be improved, partlyinto the routines when writing the construction specification and when ether sampletext or suggestions should be changed and complemented.

Like many small-time companies there is a need to improve the flow of materials at HSP-Gripen AB. The company develops and manufactures hydraulic-powered grapples for the machine- and forest industry. By mapping the material flow in the current production and gathering necessary data, suggestions on how different parts of the production could be controlled is presented in this dissertation. This has been achieved by the study of relevant scientific literature. The suggested ways of controlling the production consist of 2-bin systems, hybrid material flow system as well as a cyclic product-planning.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how key performance indicators are being used as performance management tools within the production industry. Specifically the purpose is to investigate how the KPI:s within the telecommunications industry drives reusability regarding production test systems. This thesis will also highlight today?s cost models and suggest improvements of the KPI and what new ones could be introduced. A case study at Ericsson AB has been performed.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att försöka förstå vad ungdomar och i synnerhet dagens elever har för tankar kring kristendomen och vad som anses vara relevant i religionsundervisning för eleven. Uppsatsen är uppdelad i två delar. För det första har jag med elevernas bilder och bilder från läromedel och jag ska göra en jämförelse för att se om det finns någon skillnad. För det andra finns en del angående urval av material som både elever och lärare kan använda sig av. I första delen ska jag se vilka urval som läraren har när de väljer undervisningsmaterial och jämföra med vad eleverna, den andra delen, vill ha för sorts material i kristendomsundervisningen.  Mina frågeställningar i del ett är: Vad har elever, på min partnerskola, för syn på religionen kristendomen? Hur skiljer sig elevernas bilder i jämförelse med läroböckernas bilder? Mina frågeställningar i del två är: Vilken sorts material kan man använda sig av i kristendomsundervisningen för att göra ämnet mer intressant? Vad vill eleverna använda för undervisningsmaterial och hur kan de vara med och påverka? .
