Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur olika vändpunkts processer i en kristen kontext kan se ut. Resultatet av studien visar att en betydande push-faktor ut ur missbruket för våra informanter bestått av de negativa konsekvenserna som missbruket fört med sig, initialt försämrad hälsa. Parallellt med detta upplevde informanterna att det var någonting utanför deras egen kontroll som ?drog? dem ur missbruket. Våra informanter har haft känslan av att någon leder dem och manar gott för dem.

Syftet med arbetet var att identifiera ytor inom Södertörn där det skulle vara möjligt att etablera materialterminaler för hantering av byggbranschens jord- och bergmaterial. Förhoppningen var att detta kunde bidra till ett planeringsunderlag för en samordnad materialförvaltning inom regionen. Behovet och nyttan av fler materialterminaler har börjat uppmärksammas, men inga studier kring vilka platser som lämpar sig för ändamålet har tidigare genomförts utifrån svenska förhållanden.  För att ta reda på vilka kriterier som definierade en bra materialterminalyta genomfördes en intervjustudie där tio aktörer med anknytning till materialhanteringsbranschen intervjuades. Kriterierna översattes till geografisk information och implementerades i GIS-programmet ArcMAP där det konstruerades en kartbild vilken visualiserade de ytor som var lämpliga respektive olämpliga att använda för ändamålet.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage Rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.

The aim of the study was to map the extent of Fe, Cu, Pb, As, Zn and S contamination in the area surrounding the Nasa silver mine. The mine operated between 1635 and 1810 with some prospecting performed in 1889, and has become infamous for the gruesome ways that the indigenous people were treated during the early years of operation. This study tested three hypotheses through a geochemical survey: 1) sulfide oxidation is still active in the abandoned mine, 2) the soil downslope of the mine is contaminated by mine drainage, and 3) the stream downslope of the mine is affected in the same way. All three hypotheses were valid, as the results showed that still, >200 years after mining operations ceased, signs of the historical mining are clearly visible in the surrounding environment. Acidic conditions were discovered in surface waters close to the waste Rock piles, which indicates active sulfide oxidation.

This report is a result of a first survey of Halland?s gravel pits as an assignment from the County Administrative Board of Halland. The focus has been on Apalus bimaculatus, since the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency are creating a restoration program as it is red listed as Near Threatened. The purpose was also to get an overview of the pits since the County Administrative Board wants to continue this project. Apalus bimaculatus is easy to overlook since it is a short-lived beetle and it lives early in the spring.

This study is about how students view the effects teachers have on their self-esteem and self-confidence. The theoretical background covers the consequences of success and failures, and the interaction between students and teachers, in regards of self-esteem and self-confidence. The purpose of the study was to examine what had in-fluenced the students? self-esteem and self-confidence in the interaction with teachers. To reach the goal of the study, several qualitative interviews were made with the following questions as base:? Which factors does the student consider to be of importance for their self-esteem and self-confidence in the interaction with teachers?? How does the student feel that these factors were affected concerning their self-esteem and self-confidence?During the analysis and systematization of the transcribed interviews, five factors emerged that effects self-esteem and self-confidence.

The aim with this Essay is to examine the two most read magazines in Sweden covering the areas of exercising, fitness, bodybuilding, diets and ?wellness? ?Fitness and Body. Fitness?s target group is predominantly woman, while Body is almost exclusively read by men. The analysis is first done quantitatively, by systematically categorising the contents of the magazines.

The purpose of this study has been to follow how the Swedish press covers the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest. To do so, I have followed how the image of The Ark, a Swedish Rock group, changed in the press during Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. They won in Sweden, but in the big European finale they ended up in 18th place. The study is based on a discourse analysis with the focus on the social dialogue of the band in the newspapers. I have applied the analysis on 14 articles published the day after Melodifestivalen and a week ahead, and 14 articles published the day after the Eurovision Song Contest and a week ahead.

Syftet med det examensarbete som genomförts har varit att kartlägga processen för att på egen hand lansera sin musik i form av ett fullängdsalbum tillgängligt att köpas både i form av digitala nedladdningar och som traditionell CD-skiva.I arbetet har vi bekantat oss med viktiga aspekter angående distributionsavtal, upphovsrätt, marknadsföring, design, foto, logotyper, texter och koder man bör känna till. En stor del av arbetet har även ägnats åt att förklara och utreda den sista delen i ljudbearbetningen - mastring. Dessutom har vi satsat på marknadsförning och exponering på Internet samt olika betalningslösningar som möjliggör skivans försäljning.För att erhålla de nödvändiga delarna i arbetsprocessen har kontakt upprättats med bland andra: IFPI, Grammotex, N©B och Dicentia.I rapporten får vi följa den progressiva Rockgruppen Cap Outrun och deras väg till målet i form av en fallstudie..

The aim of this master thesis is to examine how leadership in public libraries is constructed discursively in the Swedish library field of today. The empirical material reviewed is job postings and articles from three library related journals.The thesis seeks to identify what different leadership discourses can be found by looking at definitions, forms of address, present actors and themes emerging. It also aims to examine the contingent presence of late modern leadership theories in the order of discourse. The leadership theories primarily investigated are New Public Management (NPM) and value-based leadership.The theoretical starting point of the thesis is discourse theory, developed by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. In the analysis a model of four phases is used; in which central concepts of discourse theory help identify the discourses.

This essay focuses upon the Kivik monument and its conservation difficulties, since its discovery at 1748 until modern time. The Kivik monument is found in southeast of Scania, and dated within the Bronze Age period. The perspective of the conservation on the monument has merely been on the monuments inner cist of stone and the Rock carvings on the cist-slabs. When the monument was first archaeological examined at 1931, its sizeable cairn (75 m in diameter) had almost vanished and the cist was sheltered by a casing of concrete and metal roof. Between 1932 and 1933 the monument has undergone a large-scale restoration, and this criticized restoration resulted in a low antiquarian value with the responsible authority.

Jag har och a?r framfo?rallt nyfiken pa? hur maskingenererat tempo, som i texten kommer bena?mnas som click eller clicktrack, pa?verkar slutresultatet av en musikproduktion.I tva? av mina produktioner har jag jobbat med tempo pa? flera olika sa?tt.

Uppsatsen går ut på att undersöka om det finns skillnader på tekniker som används vid mixning av basinstrument i musik avsedd att spelas på dansgolv som t.ex. house, trance, hip hop, R n´B, osv. och annan musik som vanligen spelas på radio, TV, Mp3-spelare, bärbara datorer osv. som Rock, metal, jazz, pop, osv. Musik som är dansinriktad och spelas på dansgolv upplevs oftast som starkare i basen, då den också har basinstrumenten som den viktigaste för att skapa ett ?groove?.
