The aim of this study is to investigate the components of religion and spirituality in the specific context of "Fryshuset" ? a multicultural and glocal arena. Against the backdrop of contemporary researchers such as Heelas and Woodhead and their hypothesis about the "spiritual revolution" and a "new spirituality", as well as the postmodern discussion about "the return of God", this study discusses how religious change can be understood in the context of Fryshuset.The theoretical point of departure is taken in a hermeneutical method where Fleck´s theory about "thought-collective" and Gidden´s theory about the "duality of structure" are used in order to understand and describe the dialectical relationship between individual and social structure.The method used in this study is qualitative. The interviews are made of six individuals representing different social projects at Fryshuset.By analyzing the material from the field study through theories on religious change, three areas are identified:"The subjective turn"Religion and spiritualityA Cosmopolitan interpretation of life The result of this study is that the religiosity among the interviewed can be described through Taylor?s understanding of the "subjective turn".

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka storbankernas etiska fonder. Samtliga fonder jämfördes med varandra och med marknaden för att undersöka hur dessa har presterat i avseende på risk och avkastning. Uppsatsen syftar även till att vägleda bland storbankernas etiska fonder, d.v.s. kunna erbjuda läsaren en bild av vilka fonder som kan vara intressanta ur ett placeringsperspektiv. Studien är av kvantitativ karaktär och utfördes med hjälp av fonddata inhämtad från respektive storbank.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the presence of arterial insufficiency in patients undergoing CABG surgery and whether arterial insufficiency is a risk factor for postoperative wound infections in the harvesting leg. Patients who had CABG surgery were enrolled consecutively. A total of 144 patients participated in the study. During their hospital stay demographic data was recorded, as well as pre-, intra-, and postoperative tests and risk factors. The patients answered a questionnaire regarding postoperative wound infections 30 days after surgery patients answered a questionnaire regarding infections.

AbstractPeople and organizations that network with one another have during the past decades, at a larger extent than before, replaced classical hierarchies. These networks have become increasingly important, as the globalisation has amplified the pressure for focused and flexibleorganizations. There is a risk of restraining the inventiveness of the firm and force customers and suppliers into cooperation by a too great commitment and dedication to the network. There are two sides to every penny, positive and negative aspects of networking.Concerning the negative approach to networking, there is relatively little theory present. The theory is regarded an emerging theory.

Mitt syfte med uppsatsen var att undersöka vilka sociala och personliga förhållanden som bidrar till utvecklingen av ett kriminellt beteende bland unga män. Jag har genomfört intervjuer med ett antal unga män i 18-19års åldern ur samma vänskapskrets för att få en inblick i deras förklaringar till sitt kriminella beteende. Uppsatsen bygger på deras berättelser och funderingar kring sin situation.Uppsatsens material har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer som analyserats ur socialpsykologiska perspektiv. Resultatet visar bl.a. att ungdomar uppger att de begår brott av rationella skäl för att få snabba pengar och saker de vill ha.

Theories about exposure and risk-taking in an everyday environment show a connection between parental strategies, parent-child relationship and exposure on the Internet. In the present study, the Internet is presented as an everyday activity. Negative exposure is seen as an outcome of risk-taking. The purpose of the study was to examine in what way parental strategies together with the parent-child relationship were related to the teenagers? negative experiences on the Internet, which consisted of three categories: 1) Exposure to pornographic sites, 2) Exposure to upsetting and violent material, 3) Digital bullying.

En bostad kan ses som en investering och finansieras oftast med ett bostadsslån från en bank. Finansinspektionen som fungerar som ett tillsynsorgan till bankverksamheterna har agerat mot en osund kredithantering med hjälp av införandet av ett bolånetak. Tidigare finansiella kriser har visat på svårigheterna att i förväg föreställa sig effekterna av framtida osäkerheter. Vid ett bostadslån kommer kreditgivaren och kredittagaren behöva resonera kring framtida osäkerhet som medföljer skuldsättningen. En ökad skuldsättning i förhållande till disponibel inkomst för varje enskild låntagare skulle innebära en ökad risk för bankens stabilitet.

Studien undersöker potentiella fördelar för företag att arbeta med och redovisa om CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, i termer av minskade avkastningskrav från investerare. Med utgångspunkt i teorier om informationsasymmetri och stakeholderteori testar vi om svenska börsnoterade företag som arbetar med och redovisar om CSR är förknippade med lägre risk och således också lägre avkastningskrav från investerare. Våra resultat visar att en separat publicerad CSR-redovisning eller hur företagen betygssätts för sitt CSR-arbete inte har någon påverkan på investerares avkastningskrav. Dock finner vi att avkastningskrav på företag som redovisar om och/eller vars arbete med CSR-frågor värderas högt blir lägre ju fler sidor de publicerar om CSR i en separat rapport..

Sedan år 2005 är börsnoterade företag i Sverige tvingade att följa internationella redovisningsregler utfärdade av IASB. Det innebär att nya standarder gällande värdering av tillgångar ska tillämpas. De nya värderingsreglerna har utvecklats för att redovisningen ska innehålla relevant finansiell information. Det har medfört att förvaltningsfastigheter, som definieras i IAS 40, kan värderas till verkligt värde. Dock är verkligt värde regleringen relativt otydlig och kan ge upphov till eventuell övervärdering av tillgångar.

Studien är gjord ur barns perspektiv med en fenomenologisk ansats.ResultatStudiens resultat är att en idrott och hälsa-lärare är för eleverna en vuxen som tar ansvar genom att inte tillåta dåligt beteende på lektionerna, en coach som peppar dem och en atlet som kan visa övningar och föregå med gott exempel. Eleverna anser att ämnet idrott och hälsa går ut på att man ska röra på sig och ha roligt. Man ska lära sig att träna, äta rätt och röra på sig samt få kunskaper om hälsa, livsstil och ideal.

In November 2007 the countries around the Baltic Sea signed the Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP). The action plan was an initiative from HELCOM due to the environmental status in the Baltic Sea. The action plan implemented a new approach with measures targeting the whole ecosystem. Eutrophication, hazardous substances, biodiversity and maritime activities constituted the main segments. The parties were to establish national implementation plans to fulfil the BSAP goals, which shall lead to good environmental status in the Baltic Sea by 2021.  The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points in common regarding conceptions of eutrophication in the Baltic Sea between the management, the science, the media and the public.

Vaccinology is an ever expanding field. As a member of the veterinary staff it is important to stay up to date with the continuous new scientific data and recommendations that affect the care that our companion animals receive at the veterinary clinic. This paper presents adverse vaccination reactions, their cause, risk factors and suggestions how we can minimize the risk of adverse vaccine events in dogs. Dog owners in Sweden were allowed to answer a questionnaire about adverse events following vaccination. Lethargy, edema and pruritus were among the most frequently seen adverse effects.

This is a thesis presents a differential gear which is found in a tracked vehicle called BvS10. The tracked vehicle is manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds AB in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The differential gear has a bolted house. The differential meets the requirement specifications, but the problem is that the bolts are sheared off because of the extreme torque that the differential is exposed to resist.Previous report on the differential show pictures of bolts which have been sheared off at the threads. This report is also includes three lists that explain seven different proposals which some are approved and some are not, and the report also presents the force, tensile, and shear stress.In a bolted connection there is both axial tension stress and radial shear stress, which can lead to wear out and broken bolts.

Today, Sweden is to be regarded as a country formed by the influences and effects of immigration. The government is considering integration as a process aimed to influent all forms of welfare politics and as a project working both at an individual and at a social level. The aims of integration policies are to guarantee equal rights and opportunities, to form a public community characterized by diversity, and to mobilize all citizens to participate in and to be jointly responsible for a social development characterized by mutual respect and tolerance. During the Swedish election campaign of 2002, integration policies became one of the most reported and discussed political questions in the media. The aim of this essay is to study and analyze discursive statements on integration policies made by politicians during this election campaign.
