The real estate industry is a sector where the companies generally have a capital structure which is high leveraged. The financing? with the related terms ? is therefore specifically of high importance for the companies in the sector. Traditionally, the way of obtain financing is by borrowing from the bank. Lately, due to new bank regulations, the banks have become more restrictive in their lending which have lead to a growth of other financing alternatives.

Studien undersöker vilka kemikalier som används i frisersalonger och som kan vara farliga för miljön. Största delen av kemikalierna sprids till vattenmiljön genom avloppsvatten, där exponering för vattenlevande organismer kan orsaka förändringar. En ekotoxikologisk farobedömning identifierar och karakteriserar kemikaliers risker och toxicitet. Farobedömningen baseras på tester utförda på de trofiska nivåer som finns i den akvatiska miljön och bygger på tre kriterier: akvatisk toxicitet, nedbrytbarhet och bioackumulerbarhet. Syftet med examensarbetet är att genomföra en farobedömning på kemikalierna som släpps ut i avloppsnätet från utvalda frisersalonger.Information om kemikalierna som återfanns hos tre frisersalonger eftersöktes i databaser för kemikalier.

The aim of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of howsocial contacts can serve as information sources for pregnantwomen. Furthermore, we wanted to examine how women?scontext influences their information seeking and the barriers thatcan occur during information seeking. The theoretical frameworkis founded on Tom Wilson's model of information needs as contextdependent, and Pamela J. McKenzie's model of informationpractices in accounts of everyday-life information seeking.

Bakgrund: Att ta hand om de efterlevande efter ett dödsfall är en svår och komplicerad uppgift för sjuksköterskan, speciellt om dödsfallet sker oväntat. Vid ett oväntat dödsfall blir sorgearbetet mycket svårare för de efterlevande jämfört med väntade dödsfall. Livet tar en drastisk vändning och ingen tid för emotionell förberedelse har funnits.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva efterlevandes erfarenheter vid ett oväntat dödsfall av en närstående.Metod: Studien är en systematisk litteraturstudie med sammanställd forskning utifrån artiklar som involverar efterlevandes erfarenheter och upplevelser vid ett oväntat dödsfall. Forsberg och Wengström (2013) har använts som inspiration under analysprocessen.Resultat: Sju olika kategorier arbetades fram och kom till att bli: Lidandets olika former, Efterlevandes erfarenheter av information och omhändertagandet, Att bli lämnad i ovisshet, Att ta farväl, Att gå vidare och bearbeta sorgen, Att få tala ut och Ökad risk för psykisk och fysisk ohälsa. Tre övergripande teman framkom: Efterlevandes kris- och sorgeupplevelser, Erfarenheten av omhändertagandet samt Erfarenheten av livet efter dödsfallet. Slutsats: Efterlevande reagerar olika på sorg och lidande.

Cystisk fibros (CF) är en ärftlig sjukdom med risk för förkortad livslängd. Sjukdomen medför att sekretet i bland annat lungor och bukspottkörtel blir segt och organen har svårt att fungera normalt. Medellivslängden för kvinnor med cystisk fibros ökar. Då allt fler når vuxen ålder ökar deras önskemål om att bli förälder. Syfte med denna studie var att belysa den reproduktiva hälsan hos kvinnor med cystisk fibros för att kunna erbjuda stöd och information.

Animal welfare can be measured in several different ways; for example by using animal-based measurements. It has been shown that register data from the Swedish Official Milk Recording Scheme can be helpful when identifying herds at risk of having poor animal welfare, which led to a development of the advisory service of ?Ask the Cow? and the web report ?Animal Welfare Signals?. The aim of this project was to find out if register data from ?Animal Welfare Signals? can be used as a screening tool for detecting herds at risk of having poor animal welfare and in need of an ?Ask the Cow?.

Ambulansarbetet är ibland stressigt och som ambulanspersonal hanteras bland annat traumapatienter. Det kan upplevas svårt att finna tid till omvårdnaden kring patienten. En del av omvårdnaden är att informera patienten vad som händer för att de ska uppleva en delaktighet och trygghet i vården. I traumasituationer är det svårt att avgöra hur detaljerad informationen ska vara och hur mottaglig patienten är för information, även patientens medvetandegrad är avgörande. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vad ambulanssjuksköterskor anser om information och vilken information som gavs till traumapatienter.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate how individuals with reading- and writing disabilities and dyslexia handle their information need in the workplace. The method that has been used is a qualitative study made with interviews with individuals who have these problems, to see how they think and feel about the flow of information on their everyday basis. The study?s respondents are working women between the ages of 27 and 47 years old and they have reading- and writing disabilities and dyslexia. The most interesting results of this study are that the respondents are avoiding jobs where they need to read and write much and where they also do not like changes in their job situation.

In this degree project I have studied how an anti-discrimination bureau can adapttheir online information to the target group ? immigrants who only have modestunderstanding of the Swedish language. This group is often subject of discriminationmatters, and therefore it?s important that they can take part of the information.To find answers to my questions I have studied different relevant theories, performeda readability analysis on the online information and have had qualitativeinterviews with representatives from the target group. I have also tested my rewrittentexts on both representatives and other readers.The result from my studies has shown that it is words that are the most difficult inthe current online information, while length and structure of the sentences are alsoof importance when it comes to the readability.

Depression är idag ett av de största folkhälsoproblemen. Antalet insjuknade i depression ökar ständigt. Ungefär 25 % av alla kvinnor och 15 % av alla män beräknas någon gång få en depression som kräver behandling. Som sjuksköterskor kommer vi i vården att möta patienter med depression och för att kunna ge en så adekvat vård som möjligt behövs kunskap om hur patienten upplever sin situation och vården som erhålls. Ges inte rätt och passande behandling finns risk för försämring.

In the media richness of everyday life, the encounter with information graphics ishappening on a daily basis, whether we are aware or not. With the development andeasy access of technologies, new ways to create and display information graphics hasemerged. Among them, the animated information graphics, which in the few pastyears appears to have increased in popularity on video sharing websites such asVimeo and Youtube. In the genre of animated information graphics, there seems to bean inherent diversity regarding the design characteristics. In this study we exploredliterature and research on information graphics and related subjects.

The aim of this study is to find out if the former students think that they have made use of the courses they have taken at the Natural Resource Use Programme specialised in Animal Husbandry at Lillerudsgymnasiet or if the courses should be exchanged. In the study it is assumed that a course can be useful professionally, for further studies and in private life.The main questions are: Have the former students made use of the courses they took at the Natural Resource Use Programme specialised in Animal Husbandry at Lillerudsgymnasiet? Was it the right decision to replace the course Horses?I have sent a questionnaire to all the students who graduated between 2003 and 2007. Out of 107 questionnaires I received 66 replies (62 %). All students have studied the same mandatory courses but different eligible courses.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how information seeking habits and experiences of people in different generations affects their expectations on information retrieval systems like OPAC. Two OPACs are used, one web-OPAC and one mobile-OPAC. The following questions are asked: how can theories about information seeking behaviors explain why and in which way one seeks information? In which way does information seeking behaviors and habits affect the experience of OPAC? Which differences and/or similarities can be found between the web-OPAC and the mobile-OPAC? How does generational aspects affect experiences and preferences in an information seeking context? The theoretical framework of the thesis is information retrieval with several models about information-seeking/searching needs and behaviors. The empirical data contains interviews with nine people in different generations and protocols about two different OPACs.

The deregulation during the last decade within the airline businesses have called upon a more fierce competition among airlines. This fact forces airlines to continuously focus on service development in order to offer attractive solutions to satisfy customers changing needs and stay competitive. This paper focuses on service development at Scandinavian Airlines. The aim of this case study is to examine the sources of information used in service development and new service development at Scandinavian Airlines. Further the aim is to examine whether information derived from customers can be shown to play a more important role in either service development or new service development.

The challenge that companies currently face in their attempts to break through the media clutter has resulted in an increased use of provocative advertising worldwide. History shows that this strategy can result in a brand crisis due to negative consumer sentiment. Despite this fact, advertisement generated crisis remain a relatively unexplored field in the academic world of marketing. The objective of this thesis is to further explore crisis creation from provocative advertising, evaluate the affiliated negative consumer consequences, and to examine the effects of two contrasting company strategies to remedy these types of crisis situations. An experiment was conducted on Swedish and Norwegian students in order to examine whether the communication and information sharing between the target consumers and others could explain the development and consequences of provocative advertisement crisis due to its psychological effects.
