Självskadebeteende och riskbeteende för ätstörningar hos tonåringar: förekomst, samband och intervention med expressivt skrivande
The purpose of the present essay, as part of the project Self esteem and Life circumstances among teenagers, was to investigate the rate of both deliberate self-harm (DSH) and risk behaviour related to eating disorders in 14-year-old swedish adolescents, gender differences in DSH, and possible correlations between DSH and risk behaviours related to eating disorder. In addition, the effects of expressive writing (Pennebaker & Beall, 1986) on DSH and risk behaviours related to eating disorders were investigated. Data from two pilot studies are included. In total, 198 14-year-olds from four different schools in southern Sweden participated. For the purpose of measuring the rate of DSH, a simplified version of Gratz's (2001) Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI) was used.

As a member state of the EU, Sweden now faces the challenge of implementing substantial energy-saving measures until the year 2016. One of these measures is the project ?Green Islands? financed by the EU that intend on creating sustainable islands in areas around the Baltic Sea. The Archipelago Foundation leads the project that concerns the Stockholm archipelago, where focus has been placed upon decreasing energy usage in businesses and services on Utö among other islands.

In today?s modern age, energy consumption has become a major issue, both from an environmental viewpoint and cost perspective. Because of a rapid technologic change and increased costs of production of electricity, the demand to develop effective methods for energy efficiency industries have grown.The electricity-intensive industries, such as plastic industry, the demand to reduce energy consumption has grown significantly over the past 10 years, which have led to the development of different methods to determine and locate energy-consuming parts in the industry. This also means being able to prioritize and organize activities in the industry.In this study the measurements of voltage, current, power and PF performance on injection molding machines (K-TEC 275 form Ferromatik Milacron in Germany) with a focus to locate, within a machine, various measures that could improve energy use in the plastics industry, in this case RostiGP in Gislaved. These measurements have been carried out with the help of a power quality clamp meter to carry out time logs of the machines for some time during normal word rate.

To reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologieshave been developed. Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) is a CO2 capture technologywith the CCS framework, and at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg,Sweden, a 100 kW chemical looping combustor has been built.This project aimed to investigate to what degree air can replace helium as the uidizinggas for uid dynamical studies in a CLC cold ow model of the above mentioned 100 kWfacility. Experiments were performed using air and helium separately as uidizing gas andpressure data were obtained, which formed the basis for the comparison. The project alsoaimed to investigate uid dynamics in the uidized bed and study when the risk of sluggingoccuring was greatest. The results were presented in the form of figures and tables dividedinto pressure, concentration and standard deviation of the pressure.The results obtained showed that air as uidizing gas did not create the same uid dynamicsas helium over the entire fuel reactor.
Momentumstrategi på Stockholmsbörsen - Hur påverkar bolagsstorlek avkastningen i momentumportföljer?
Denna studie har undersökt om momentumeffekt existerar på Stockholmsbörsen ochhur bolagsstorlek har en inverkan i momentumportföljer. Studien har baserats påJegadeesh och Titmans strategier där månatlig aktieprisdata från Stockholmsbörsenunder åren 2000-2013 har inhämtats. Aktieprisdatan användes för att bygga åtta olikamomentumportföljer. Genom att applicera momentumstrategier på olikabolagsstorlekar fann vi att man kan öka avkastningen mot en lägre accepterad risk vidval av rätt bolagsstorlek. Samtidigt erhåller momentumportföljer en genomgåendehögre risk än både de jämnt viktade och värdeviktade jämförelseindexen.
Riskredovisning - fara eller möjlighet?
Syftet med uppsatsen var att utvärdera varför företag väljer respektive inte väljer att i sin externa redovisning visa de risker de utsätts för. Uppsatsen har koncentrerats till den redovisning av risk som sker i förvaltningsberättelse och i noter och undersöker endast börsnoterade bolag i branscherna industri och IT.Vår teori består av egen modell som byggts upp med influenser från den institutionella teorin. Teorin består av tio faktorer som kan påverka valet av att redovisa sin risk eller ej.Undersökningen har genomförts med en e-mailbaserad surveyundersökning. Genom det empiriska resultatet vi erhöll försökte vi att urskilja tendenser till valet av att redovisa sin risk eller ej. På grund av att vi försökt att påvisa tendenser, och ej förklara samband hos företagen, valde vi att arbeta utifrån en signifikansnivå på 5 %.För de hypoteser som testades genom Fisher's exakta test var det endast en hypotes som visade att signifikant samband fanns.

The Functional Resonance Accident Model is a method developed to analyze complex systems for the purpose of accident prevention. In FRAM-analysis a visualization of the complex system is created as an aid for identifying points of interaction in the system where the risk of accidents is high, and to determine where preventive measures are to be placed. FRAM Visualizer is a computer program developed as a tool for creating such visualizations.Many usability problems have been identified in FRAM visualizations created both manually according to established method and by using the FRAM Visualizer software. The purpose of this paper is to give a basis for how FRAM visualizations can be improved in accordance with usability criteria for use in future qualitative studies.The author suggests alterations to the FRAM visualization to resolve usability issues identified in previous articles and to achieve usability goals derived from visual communication theory. The design process is guided by established design principles.

Visual Type Instrument - VTI, is a tool containing a typeface and a set of geometric calculations that generates numerical data in spreadsheets. The data is determined from the typefaces visual dimensions and is used to calculate leading, type size, margins and format. Bankers presentation av risk på fonder : Vilka faktorer som ligger till grund för bankers riskklassificering av fonder
Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på vilka faktorer som ligger till grund för bankers riskklassificering av fonder. För att få svar på frågan sökte vi kontakt med de fyra storbankerna, varav tre kunde ställa upp på intervju (Handelsbanken, Nordea och Swedbank). Dessa banker intervjuades via telefon då detta var den bästa metoden enligt vår synvinkel. För att få mer klarhet i ämnet har svaren från intervjupersonerna kompletterats med publicerat material på respektive banks hemsida.Det som framkom efter insamlingen av allt material från bankerna var att samtliga banker använder sig av skalor för att presentera risk på fonder. Skalformatet samt färgsättning varierar dock mellan bankerna.
Vibrationsproblem i närliggande konstruktioner i samband med markarbete
Ground work like blasting, piling and excavation has always had a great influence during the planning phase of a construction project since it can cause damages on adjacent buildings and have severe economic consequences. This thesis deals with how vibrations caused by ground work influence near-by buildings and what methods geotechnicians and construction entrepreneurs use to handle these risks.The purpose of this thesis is to explain risk management in relation to ground work. In order to achieve this I have used a qualitative method by interviewing a geotechnician and a ground work contractor who possess knowledge and experience useful to this thesis. The result shows that vibrations from ground work spread through the ground as seismic waves that cause displacements and packing in the ground visible in adjacent buildings as cracks and subsidence damages. Geotechnicians study ground work vibrations by means of ground investigations and experience from previous projects in order to produce a risk analysis that entrepreneurs can use to reduce damages.
"Man kan ju inte gå runt och va rädd varje dag" : hur människor upplever och hanterar klientrelaterat hot och våld i arbetet
Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur människor upplever och hanterar risken att bli utsatt för hot och våld från klienter i arbetet. En kvalitativ ansats valdes vilket innebär att fokus har lagts på subjektiva upplevelser och erfarenheter av studieområdet. Studien genomfördes gentemot Socialtjänsten från två kommuner och urvalet bestod av intervjuer med elva socialsekreterare vars arbete innehåller myndighetsutövning och kontakt med klienter. Analys av data gjordes enligt induktiv tematisk analys. Resultaten visade att det föreligger en risk att bli utsatt för hot och våld av klienter men den upplevs vara liten.
TRIM : ? Metod för att identifiera risker och uppskatta projekttider
ITT Flygt is a world leading company that mainly manufactures submersible pumps. A problem of ITT Flygt is that product development projects rarely manage to hold the estimated project time. It shows that something unexpected occurs in projects quite often, which results in delays. The delays can both be due to an optimistic time plan of projects and risks in product development projects which are not discovered at an early stage. This added with unforeseen delays makes it difficult for ITT Flygt to estimate the duration of their projects.The goal with the Master thesis is to examine a suitable method for simulation of project time.
