Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to study the 45 funds, divided into three differentdivisions, then the result will provide a greater understanding of how returns change with ahigher risk.Methodology: The study is based on a quantitative approach. Several cities have implemented various projects to improve traffic safety in city centers.During 1970s and 1980s the city centers changed as the suburbs grew and large shopping centers were located outside the center. At the same time, several projects were initiated with construction of pedestrian streets and restriction of traffic in the center. In year 1994,shared-used areas were introduced in Sweden and these areas are often used in center environments.In Sweden, municipalities are responsible for integrating security in public places and in comprehensive plans and detailed development plans. The National Board of Housing,Building and Planning is the authority for administrating planning issues and develop general guidance about planning. Traffic is one of their key issues, although today there are no concrete guidelines from the National Board of Housing, Building and Planningfor the design of traffic safety in city centers.Traffic safety in city centers affects many people because the city center is a public place.It is therefore important that there are current guidelines available that are helpful for changes and improvements in traffic safety in the city center.The purpose of this report is to formulate guidelines for planning city centers from a traffic safety perspective.

Many research reports mention the fact that a huge number of all system
development projects never reach a successful ending; with other words never
fulfil formulated goals. By identifying and forming success factors (and in
some aspect risk factors) that the project manager in practice can use, this
study may be seen as a step in the direction towards minimising the high number
of failed system development projects.
The purpose of this research report is to investigate how a system development
project, where the development process is based on a specific development or
process model (in this case the Waterfall model), can and should be driven. I
aim to clarify what is demanded of a project leader for the specific
development process and give an account for which eventual leadership qualities
that can be well suited for given situation in relation to the need for
technical competence.
Among other things the project manager should inspire confidence, drive, be a
decision maker, engage and own some form of basic knowledge in the field of
system development.
Att verka inom ramarna : En studie i syfte att jämföra en organisations riskarbete med COSO:s : riskhanteringsramverk samt Enterprise Risk Management
Den omgivning organisationer idag ställs inför blir alltmer krävande. En allt hårdare reglering, hot från nya teknologier, samt de företagsskandaler som härjat i media, har lett till att dagens organisationer ser på risk på ett nytt sätt. En utveckling som nyligen skett inom riskhantering är Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Denna uppsats undersöker den roll ERM, och i synnerhet ett nyutvecklat ramverk som används för att implementera ERM, har i en organisations riskarbete. Ramverket, COSO:s ERM, består av åtta kontrollpunkter som enligt ramverket bör finnas i en organisation som utför sitt ERM-arbete på ett korrekt sätt.Studiens syfte är att undersöka likheter och olikheter mellan en organisations riskarbete och COSO:s riskhanteringsramverk samt den teoribildning som skapats kring Enterprise Risk Management.

Safety, its a word not commonly associated with elderly people living alone. There is however a device that is supposed to bring safety, and enable elderly people to continue living in their present household - an emergency dialer. However these devices does not serve their own purpose in terms of design. Thepurpose of this study is to create an emergency dailer that everybody would want to put on their wrist or bedside table. The market for these devices have looked the same for the last twentyfive years, despite of society´s advancements in both design and technology.
Samband mellan rating och framtida avkastning-En studie av Morningstars rating i olika börsklimat
.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka sambandet mellan Morningstars rating och framtida avkastning, samt om detta skiljer sig åt i olika börsklimat.Metod: Undersökningen bygger på en kvantitativ metod då vi har samlat in sekundärdata från dagstidningar och Internet. Den insamlade sekundärdatan kommer att ligga till grund för empirin då vi testar sambanden mellan variablerna rating och avkastning, risk och avkastning samt rating och risk. Teoretiska perspektiv: Uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkt är den effektiva marknadshypotesen och kapitalmarknadslinjen. Teorin grundas även på tidigare studier av bland annat Morey (2003). Empiri: Med hjälp av statistikprogrammet SPSS undersöker vi korrelationen mellan variablerna rating och avkastning, risk och avkastning samt rating och risk.

Enterprise Risk Management. Hur använder svenska företag ERM?
I följande studie har vi valt att studera vad som menas med strategiskt HR-arbete, både som ideal samt i mer konkreta termer. Begreppet strategiskt HR-arbete är väl använt inom dagens organisationer, men den egentliga innebörden av begreppet rent konkret är mer diffust. Syftet med studien är mer precist att beskriva och konkretisera HR-personers egen uppfattning kring vad det innebär att arbeta strategiskt inom HR samt försöka förstå vad det innebär i praktiken.En enkät har skickats ut till 50 personer. 20 personer svarade och svaren analyserades med utgångspunkt ifrån den teoretiska referensram som vi använt oss utav.I teorin beskrivs den historiska utvecklingen av HR-arbete, och vi beskriver de betydelsefulla begreppen PA, HR, HRM och SHRM som ofta förekommer inom HR. Teorikapitlet avslutas med vår egen modell, vilken vi sammanställt utifrån den litteratur vi tagit del av.
Att göra mål : en jämförande studie mellan Flygvapnets och Forsmarks sätt att sätta upp mål för säkerhetsarbete
I chose to study how the Swedish Air force carries out their work with setting goals for their work to improve flight safety and compare this with how the Swedish nuclear power plant Forsmark performs their work with improving nuclear safety. The study showed that both organisations have a lot to improve on in their ways of how to work. Especially when it comes to engaging the employees in the process, both in letting the employees be a part of coming up with areas to work on and in letting the employees evaluate which progress that has been made. It also showed that both organisations need to improve their methods for evaluating the work that has been done. This is especially important for the Air Force which evaluates on many levels and locations and did not have a set standard for how to conduct the evaluation.
