This paper deals with the relations between landscape rooms and monuments in an area north of Mönsterås in Kalmar län. After archaeological excavations had been carried out in the area 1991, an article promote it to the ?Bronze Age district of Mönsterås? (Källström 1993). There are two main problems that I deal with in this paper. First: The relations between the natural places and the monuments or memorials.

This study focuses on why people not longer want to be a part of a religious communion they have earlier been a part of. To examine this I have made seven interviews with people who have left their previous communions. Together with the methodological and theoretical discussions on discourse analysis, Richard Jenkins discussions on identity and theories concerning the post-modern society, I have made an analysis on how these people consider their previous communions and its members. They refer i.e. to the social control, the ?closed? culture and the non-questioning-culture that constitute the communions and its techniques.

The aim of the study was to look at the differences in groups in Karlskrona Kommun in comparison to a larger population of work-groups in Sweden. The instrument used was the Team Diagnostic Survey developed by Ruth Wageman, J. Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman (2005) in order to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses in work-groups, as well as explore the group?s behaviours and effectiveness. The results show that there was a significant difference between the Karlskrona Kommun groups and the larger population of Swedish groups in the following areas: stable, clarity, challenge, diversity, whole task, resources and availability..

Studien behandlar ämnet fri programvara utifrån ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv. Texter och tal av Richard M.Stallman, grundaren av Free Software Foundation (FSF), ligger i fokus för studien. FSF är en rörelse som har isyfte att göra och kämpa för fri programvara. Detta innebär uttryckligen en kritik mot programvara som är ofrieller proprietär. All since Thomas Kuhn?s strongly influential The Structure of Scientific Revolutions the Philosophy of Science and ?even more so ?the Social Sciences have contained a greater amount of theories that could be described as more or less relativistic, meaning that the standards of justification or truth thereafter more often were said to be relative to language, culture, or biological makeup. One of the more elaborate ways of developing Thomas Kuhn?s theories in a more relativistic direction ismade by the philosopher Richard Rorty. Rorty, mainly a supporter of Thomas Kuhn, is also a philosopher who has been seen as a main exponent of a so called Postmodern philosophy.My intention in this thesis is to evaluate whether Kuhn's and Rorty's theories of science and knowledge could be regarded as relativism, in respects of their view of incommensurability, rational argumentation, and of their position vis-á-vis the more conventional picture of scientific knowledge and truth.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka på vilket sätt musik och filmrum interagerar med varandra i filmmusikalerna ?Dancer in the Dark? och ?Chicago?. Detta görs huvudsakligen med utgångspunkt från Richard Dyers teorier kring rumsgestaltning inom filmmusikaler, men också utifrån deras roll som förmedlare av utopiska värden, samt Michel Chions teorier kring ljudets olika effekter på film. Vilka värderingar och budskap filmerna har och hur de kommer fram diskuteras också. This thesis deals with two types of agrarian remains in relation to settlement remains; clearance cairns, low stone walls and house terraces in the area of Northeastern Uppland and the area north of Lake Mälaren, during the middle Iron Age. The aim whit this thesis is trying to get a better understanding of the relation between agrarian and settlement remains in Uppland. Three places have been chosen where these three elements are present and they are interpreted through Richard Whites concept of middle ground but also Landesque capital. The three elements have shown to be expressed in different ways in all three sites. It is possible to see two areas with different traditions, but also to see two areas that closely interact with each other, this opens up for a new discussion around agrarian remains in both areas.

Syftet med uppsatsen Den manliga hjälten och de döda kvinnorna är att från ett genusmedvetet och feministiskt perspektiv undersöka genusroller och patriarkala tankestrukturer i Richard Mathesons roman I am legend och de tre filmatiseringar som gjorts av denna. Jag ska se hur män och kvinnor skildras, omverken vidmakthåller de stereotypa könsroller som det västerländska samhället traditionellt bygger på, eller om de bryter av mot dessa normer. I uppsatsen använder jag mig av Pierre Bourdieus teori om den manliga dominansen, och även av Gilbert och Gubars resonemang om kvinnan i litteratur som ängel och monster. I denna uppsats undersöks huruvida argumentet kan anses vara ett starkt argument för Guds existens, eller om den kritik som riktats mot det fäller argumentet. Analysarbetet i denna uppsats bygger på Richard Swinburnes formulering av argumentet, och låter det möta Michaels Martins kritik av det. I have examined the conditions for participation in an opera masquerade. Theoretical support has been found in Michail Bachtin, Richard Schechner and Judith Butler. The main study object has been a masquerade organised by the workers of The Royal Opera of Stockholm in 1925. The masquerade is examined as a social practise with distinct aesthetic framing. The analysis shows that the opera masquerade share some characteristics with the medieval carnival culture as described by Bachtin, but differ in many ways as well.
