Sökande efter mening och identitet - upplevelser i samband med pensionering : En explorativ studie med pensionärers egna berättelser som grund.
This is a qualitative study aiming to examine peoples? experiences when retiring. In that purpose a criteria based sample has been used, participants have been asked in that they fulfilled the criteria?s to be a retiree within the age of 65 to 71 years of age. The reason of the age criteria was that the experiences should not be so far away in time.

Retiring from elite sport can be a difficult and disruptive process for an elite athlete. To improve the quality of the transition after retirement, elite athletes are recommended to have dual careers which mean they combine their sport with education to be prepared for a new career when they retire from elite sport. To help elite student-athletes with this combination, universities and sport organizations provide different kind of support. This study was conducted and aimed to investigate elite athletes? perceptions of support offered by a university in Sweden and the elite athletes? perceptions of combining top level sport and academic studies.
Elimineringen av korridormetoden - Hur svenska företags nyckeltal påverkas
In 2011 the International Accounting Standards Board issued amendments to IAS 19 Employee Benefits. The new standard is effective from January 1st 2013 and one of the largest changes in the standard is the elimination of the corridor method. Through the corridor method companies had the possibility to defer actuarial gains and losses resulting from their defined benefit obligations (pension obligations) and leave them unrecognized off the balance sheet. According to the new standard companies reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards will have to recognize all actuarial gains and losses immediately in other comprehensive income. The aim of this thesis is to examine how the financial key ratios of Swedish listed companies will be affected by the elimination of the corridor method.
Generationsväxling på arbetsmarknaden: Ett problem eller en möjlighet? : En kvalitativ studie av deolika generationerna på arbetsmarknaden
Vi har valt att undersöka den pågående generationsväxling som sker på arbetsmarknaden, den äldre generationen börjar nu gå i pension och den yngre generationen börjar i allt högre grad röra sig in på arbetsplatserna. Ämnet har länge legat till grund för forskning och det har förutspåtts att de stora pensionsavgångarna skall leda till stor arbetskraftsbrist. Detta är inget som vi ser på dagens arbetsmarknad utan det är istället arbetslösheten bland unga som är det mest framträdande. Forskning om det förmodade generationsskiftet har länge vart aktuellt, men verkar nu börja närma sig i och med att pensionsavgångarna beräknas tillta. Samtidigt som de yngre årskullarna börjar minska i antal.

The pension audit has been a hot topic for the listed companies for the last years. New rules have been applied which have caused discussions and difficulties for the companies. EU?s ministry of council accepted the so called IAS 2005 Regulation on the 7th June 2002. This means that all companies listed on the stock market must follow IAS regulations in their consolidated accounts latest 2005.

Today, there is no uniform definition of what an ethical fund is. Fund management companies choose themselves what they believe is ethical and not. The lack of the definition makes it difficult for consumers to understand why these funds are special compared to other funds. The purpose of this study is to examine three Swedish companies; KPA Pension, Swedbank Robur and Folksam, to obtain a clearer picture of the concept ethical funds and its definition. The study describes each company's view of Ethics and how they may affect other companies to work for a more sustainable world.
Storsjöavtal och internationaliseringsavtal : Privatekonomiska likheter och skillnader
Den svenska handelsflottan blir mindre för var år som går och det betyder färre svenska arbetsplatser till sjöss för svenska sjöbefäl. För den som strävar efter en karriär till sjöss kan det betyda att man får se sig om efter en anställning hos en utländsk redare. Både på Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar och ute till sjöss cirkulerar flera historier om att jobba för utländska redare, somliga rosenskimrande, andra nattsvarta. Syftet med det här arbetet var att ta reda på lite privatekonomiska skillnader och likheter angående en vanlig variant av utlandsanställning, anställd på internationaliseringsavtal, i jämförelse med storsjöavtalet som är ramavtal för de olika svenska anställningsavtalen. Tillvägagångssättet var att göra en skrivbordsundersökning där resultatet av sammanställningen delas upp under olika ämnesrubriker.
What makes generation Y jump : en kvantitativ studie av hur den nya generationen bankanställda motiveras av monetära och icke-monetära incitament
Right now a major generational change is taking place within the banking sector. The new generation entering the labor market is often referred to as generation Y and it consists of individuals born between 1980 and 1995. Previous research has shown that the banking industry as a whole put a widespread emphasis on monetary incentives within the reward system. At the same time several studies highlight that individuals from generation Y are rather motivated by primarily non-monetary incentives.The aim of this dissertation is to explain how various monetary and non-monetary incentives affect the motivation of bank employees from generation Y. A positivistic research philosophy has been used with a deductive approach and a quantitative research method.This study indicates that bank employees from generation Y are motivated by retirement savings as well as a personal mentor or chief who draws attention to their development.

However, there seems to be a lack of strategies in the issue of how to provide our nondependent elderly, suffering age related handicaps and diseases, with this proclaimed necessity.In recent years, there has been a lot of research proving the link between human wellbeing and a stimulating environment.

AbstractIT can facilitate communication among individuals and connect people across geographical distances. On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.
Pensionärspooler : Pensionär med fortsatt anställning efter ett yrkesverksamt liv
A qualitative survey has been carried out in a manning company whose business concept was to employ pensioners. Six pensioners have been interviewed regarding their views on resumed employment. The results of these interviews have been analysed supported by analytic induc-tion. Areas investigated cover: promotion of better health through work, motivation factors, groupings and control, experience and learning, work and spare time and finally strategies that appeal to an older workforce.The purpose of the survey was to investigate whether the manning company utilizes pension-ers? experience and work skills from their former working life.
Inkomstpensionens delningstal : En jämförelse mellan olika livslängdsmodeller
I det nuvarande pensionssystemet används ett delningstal för att beräkna den årliga pensionen. Delningstalet avsikt är att spegla den återstående livslängden vid pensioneringstillfället. I denna studie kommer det nuvarande delningstalet för inkomstpensionen att jämföras med olika alternativa utformningar. De alternativa utformningarna är; könsspecifikt delningstal, delningstal med en ettårsperiod för dödligheten, delningstal med Lee-Carters dödlighet, delningstal med Makehams dödlighet och ekonomiskt delningstal. Resultaten visar att det ekonomiska delningstalet är större än det nuvarande delningstalet efter 64 års ålder och mindre före 64 års ålder, orsaken till detta är att dödligheten är högre bland de som går i pension tidigt.

Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to study the 45 funds, divided into three differentdivisions, then the result will provide a greater understanding of how returns change with ahigher risk.Methodology: The study is based on a quantitative approach. The survey was conducted bygathering raw data from databases and secondary data from literature, printed and electronicsources.Theoretical perspectives: The study is based on the theory: the efficient markethypothesis, which argues that future returns can not be calculated as the market is fullyinformed. The study is therefore studying historical yields.Empirical foundation: Empirical data are acquired from www.morningstar.se, andtherefore also treated on this page. The material is then divided into documents and time axes.Conclusions: The study has shown that high-risk funds give a higher percentage returns thanmedium-and low-risk funds. However, does not imply a higher risk automatically earn ahigher return when the low-risk funds have shown a higher yield than medium-risk funds.
