AbstractDigital media in general and social media in particular are becoming more and more important to businesses across the globe. It is an effective way to reach out to consumers and establish a good relationship with existing customers. Most companies today use digital media in order to market themselves and to establish good public relations. A lot of those companies have also realized the enormous marketing capabilities that social media provides. However, in spite of the plethora of possibilities that comes with social media it can also, in some cases, hinder the companies ? success.

This thesis deals with how natural resource teachers in natural resource schools in Sweden work with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. It is important both for our Government and our agricultural department that entrepreneurship is present in our education. In government´s new reform 2011 for upper secondary schools entrepreneurship is the main theme, but it is not only entrepreneurship as a business company, it is also about entrepreneurship in schools like entrepreneurial capabilities in government´s writ. The purpose of this study is to examine how a number of teachers in natural resource schools are working with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. I have also asked how the teachers would like to work with these areas.The method I have chosen to use in order to perform this study is qualitative interviews with six natural resource teachers and a pilote interview.The teachers I interviewed are working to provide students with self-knowledge and teaches students to see possibilities and solve problems, which is required for us to create entrepreneurial students and entrepreneurship in education. Due to the increasing international operations for the Swedish Armed Forces these new types of opponents needs new tools to cope with these commitments. A couple of years ago the Swedish Armed Forces had no non-lethal weapons, but today the Swedish soldier has a number of tools to choose from.The purpose of this paper is for the reader to get a presentation of which non-lethal weapons are used today by the Swedish Armed Forces and a sample of what non-lethal weapons are out on the market today. My main question is which non-lethal weapons do the Swedish Armed Forces? miss in their non-lethal capabilities set.I have collected information from a wide selections of sources like reports from the Swedish Defence Research Agency, the Swedish Armed Forces? own regulations and the Internet. The information is then processed and divided into five chapters: The development of non-lethal weapons, description of technologies, non-lethal weapons in the Swedish Armed Forces, Non-lethal weapons on the market and Results.This paper is limited to handheld, portable and man to man non-lethal weapons, all non-lethal weapons in the Swedish Armed Forces or on the international market are not covered.My conclusion is that the Swedish Armed Forces should acquire three 40 mm projectiles, one 12-gauge projectile and one TASER®..

Background: Many Swedish inhabitants origin from different countries with different cultures that may show pain in other ways than Swedes. The Swedish law stress that nursing care should be done individually according to the patient's capabilities and needs. Aim and Method: The aim of this study was to describe nurses´ experiences of encounters with patients from other cultures with pain, and also their next of kin. Qualitative interviews were carried out with seven nurses. The interviews were analysed with the starting point in Giger and Davidhizars Transcultural Assessment Model and the six phenomena: communication, space, social organisation, time, environmental control and biological diversity.

Syftet med denna studie är att få fördjupade kunskaper om hur sångpedagoger med hjälp av kommunikativa resurser hanterar sin sångundervisning. I bakgrundskapitlet presenteras forskning inom områdena kommunikation genom kroppsliga resurser, elevers tillägnande och förhållande till kunskap samt lärares val av undervisningsinnehåll. Vidare presenteras multimodalitet och designteori som teoretiska utgångspunkter.Undersökningen är genomförd med hjälp av stimulated recall interview och videoinspelningar. Fyra sångpedagoger som undervisar på högstadie- och gymnasienivå deltar i undersökningen. Sånglektioner har videoinspelats och sångpedagogerna har intervjuats.

One of the big challenges for the European Union today lies in finding a common foreign policy for its 27 sovereign member states with their divided interests, experiences and traditions. New objectives set requirements on the Union to develop and intensify its military ability. The European Union´s view on when military force can be utilized sets concepts like sovereignty and intervention in focus. Can sovereignty be limited and if so can an intervention be justified? How did the Union argue regarding its participation in the intervention in Afghanistan, 2001? The Just War Theory gives the essay a normative framework against which to assess the Union´s view and guidelines for the use of military capabilities.

Uppsatsen är ett resultat av en explorativ studie som undersöker projektledarens uppfattning av interaktionsdesign ur ett resursperspektiv. Detta görs genom en kvalitativ undersökning med projektledare för systemutvecklingsprojekt. Utifrån vilka det gjordes en nulägesrapport om hur vida resurserna som läggs på interaktionsdesign är adekvata. För att få en ytterligare aspekt på behovet intervjuades även en interaktionsdesignskonsult. Studiens resultat visade att det skiljer sig mellan olika typer av projekt hur vidare tillräckligt med resurser läggs ner på interaktionsdesign.

ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to survey attitudes towards animals among veterinary students, and to assess how the Swedish veterinary education affected students' perspectives on animals. Students in the first and second years of the study programme were asked to answer the question "What is an animal?" as they saw fit, and the answers were analysed using a qualitative-to-quantitave analysis method called the Elementary Model, which had been developed for the purpose. Results showed a significant decrease in "zoo-perspectives", i.e. views and descriptions of animals as beings with cognitive and motor functions, and a significant increase in "homo-perspectives", i.e.

Portable IT devices such as laptops, smart phones and computer tablets are becoming ever more ubiquitous. At the same time, the population of the Western world is growing older, with aging bringing about changes with regards to individuals' physical and mental capabilities. These facts raises important questions about how well suited these devices are for use by elderly people. This study focuses on the cognitive aspects of the devices' usability, using the concept of mental models to analyze the users' understanding of a computer tablet. It also draws upon theory of graphical user interfaces in its analyses.

Syftet med undersökningen har varit att undersöka om positiva förändringar och inre resurser utvecklas för intagna under en 30 dagars Ignatiansk klosterretreat på en av Sveriges högsäkerhetsanstalter. Deltagarna var dömda män i åldrarna 23 ? 55 år med straff på fyra år till livstid.Studien har tillämpat en kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer av deltagare och personal, observationer och dokumentanalyser. För ytterligare djuplodande kunskaper och information har studien också använt sig av ett autoetnografiskt perspektiv för att undersöka upplevelser och förändringsprocesser från retreaten.Resultaten påvisade att deltagarna utvecklat och förstärkt inre resurser, som emotionell kompetens, inre styrka och en positiv andlig utveckling. Resurserna har vidare legat till grund för den positiva posttraumatiska personlighetsutveckling deltagarna uppvisade.Slutsatserna i studien är att deltagarna erhåller en ökad positiv framtidstro och ökad reflektion över värderingar och vad som är viktigt i deras liv.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur Dermarome har byggt upp sina resurser över tiden. Vidare avser studien identifiera vilka av dessa som främst ligger till grund för företagets konkurrensfördelar och tillväxt. Till sist ämnar vi diskutera huruvida dessa konkurrensfördelar är varaktiga eller inte. Denna magisteruppsats är en kvalitativ fallstudie som har genomförts på Dermarome AB, ett företag som bedriver försäljning av produkter inom frisk- och skönhetsvård. Studien bygger på intervjuer med ledning och medarbetare inom företaget, en tillväxtkonsult samt återförsäljare av Dermaromes produkter.

Molnapplikationer som DropBox har under de senaste åren blivit allt mer populära ocherbjuder anställda möjligheten att kunna kommunicera och dela filer mellan varandra.För att få en förståelse för hur icke-sanktionerade molnapplikationer användspåbörjades en undersökning för att identifiera risker och möjligheter för svenskaorganisationer.Denna uppsats genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats och inleddes med enlitteraturstudie som följdes av nio stycken intervjuer med personer som har erfarenhetav IT-infrastruktur och Cloud Computing. Resultatet indikerade att IT är intressant förorganisationer där man önskar ha en bättre kontroll över kostnader och resurser samtkunna förändra vid behov. Om organisationer inte implementerar en policy för huricke-sanktionerade molnapplikationer ska hanteras kan anställda välja att skapa sinaegna regler och att man därför tappar kontrollen över data.Genom att analysera och se över sina nuvarande behov kan organisationer behållakontrollen över data, samtidigt som man undviker att det blir dyrare och kan minskakostnader samt skala sina resurser beroende på behov.Exempelvis kan framtida forskning vara att man undersöker hur användningsscenariotser ut på arbetsplatsen kontra hemma och vad det är för typ av resurser som behövsinom organisationen..

This essay is about how the library can make a difference inintegrating the minority Roma people into the Swedish society.Roma people have been subjected to persecution anddiscrimination for a long time. In this essay, I examine theactivities, functions and capabilities of libraries that can have apositive effect for the integration of the Roma people. Myquestions are: How can libraries reach out to the Roma people andwhat function do the library have for the integration of the Romapeople? I have used Marianne Anderssons and Dorte Skot-Hansens theory the four functions of the library ? the culutralcenter, the knowledge center, the information center and the socialcenter. Based on this theory, I have interpreted and analyzed thematerial that I have gathered through interviews and literaturestudies such as thesis, dissertations, repors and parliamentdocuments.

In Sweden there is a long ongoing discussion about computer and cellphone usage during lectures in school. The discussion has mainly covered elementary school up to college students, but this topic is at least as relevant for university students. Today cellphones are so advanced; you can do everything with one that you previously only could do with a computer, the difference is that everyone is carrying one with them all the time. This study shows how concentration during lectures is affected by the cellphone accessibility and usage. With this study we want to find out how university students perceive cellphone usage affects their own concentration during lectures.
