Möten i kulturmiljöer : En studie av publika insatser i samband med arkeologiska utgrävningar
This essay is focused on the questions of and Responsibility for where, when, how and why communication and meetings through archaeology should take place. I have critically studied Swedish public archaeology through three diverse archaeological excavations, one took place in the end of the 1980s, and two others in 2012.I have asked for under what circumstances and with which goals the public efforts become possible. I have interviewed leaders for the archaeological excavations and/or the public efforts and questioned how and why they reached out to the public. I also searched for results and effects in order to problematize and value the public activities.Through interpretation of the researched material it becomes clear that economic issues as well as archaeologists interests and engagements are of vital importance for public archaeology. Co-operation in the local community and archaeological documentation is crucial for the development of archaeology and its role in society. Keywords: Public archaeology, Community archaeology, Heritage, Communication, Management, Historic environment education, Time Travel, Living history.

Att styra och att genomsyra - en fallstudie av hur The Body Shop använder organisatorisk styrning för att hantera sin höga varumärkesrisk
By the year of 2007, 97 % of all listed companies in Europe had a CSR strategy described on their website. As the concept of CSR during the last decades has increased rapidly in popularity, a need to understand how such a strategy can be implemented has followed. While working with CSR in an integrated manner shows similarities to other popular management ideas, such as Lean and TQM, companies applying to a CSR strategy has been shown to be under higher scrutiny from media and NGO:s. Through a case study this thesis examines how these special circumstances of a CSR strategy makes The Body Shop use organizational control to avoid being subject to scandals due to not fulfilling the promises made to its customers. The results show that The Body Shop's commitment to CSR creates a need for a stringent bureaucratic control system that highly restricts the freedom of action for its employees.
Cause Related Marketing : En studie i hur företag praktiskt arbetar med CRM
Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) is not a completely new phenomenon, yet an idea whose time has truly come. To have commercial organizations cooperate with charity organizations for mutual profit is a "win-win-win" situation. The company gets added value to its brand, the charity organization gets to collect more money that it otherwise wouldn't and the customer gains a feeling that he or she has contributed to the society. The purpose of this thesis is to study how a company, in practice, works with CRM marketing. How do they choose which charity organization to work with, what type of product is most appropriate to market with CRM and how is the CRM campaign designed? A theoretical model is then formed to answer these questions, after a thorough research of relevant theory on the subject.
Hemmet, kvinnan och moralen : I Malmö stads barnavårdsutredningar 1930-1936
This study, a narrative analysis of it, deals with the term, home, its importance and the use of it by Child welfare investigators in the city of Malmö between the years 1930-1936. Commonly used and acknowledged, home stood for security and order while the term, street, had just the opposite meaning. Living in the countryside symbolized health and sensibility, while city life was considered to be cramped, dirty and immoral. The Responsibility of achieving the liberals and conservatives ideal of a sunny, clean and orderly home was given to the woman of the house, as was the task of keeping the home morally correct, and providing the necessary atmosphere for proper upbringing of the children. Consequently, the basis of theory, using Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in regards to the conflicts between the upper and lower classes, and even theories of Jane Lewis of woman´s connection to home and family, have been the grounds for the study.
