Learning Resource Centre, or LRC, is an international phenomenon and a response to the changing society that came with the development of information technology. The LRC concept spread internationally during the 1990s and began to influence Swedish collage libraries at the end of the decade. The main purpose of this study is to analyze if and how Swedish college libraries have incorporated the LRC concept. Is there a Swedish LRC model? Is the LRC concept still interesting or was it a trend that is now out of date? Interviews with eleven people from six college libraries aim to show how they define the concept LRC and how it has been integrated in to their organisations.

This report presents the preliminary study and work for the development of a site structure for the upcoming reengineering of inter-tool Infopunkt. The report describes how I have conducted a study regarding the current inter-tool information center and its development potential. Thereafter compiling the information to develop a comprehensive design approach to create a sitemap. With increasing energy prices and increased focus on the environment we saw the need for companies to get control over their energy use and their emission of carbon dioxid. An analysis tool that integrates both these areas is, with our knowledge, not available on the market today. Det här är en uppsats omfattande 15 högskolepoäng i ämnet fysisk planering. Uppsatsens titel är ?mellankommunal översiktlig planering ? möjligheter och begränsningar? och undersöker vad begreppet innebär, både i lagens mening och i praktiken, vilka frågor som kommunerna är beredda att samplanera om och hur de gått eller tänker gå tillväga. För att konkretisera frågeställningen har tre stycken fall med olika karaktär valts. Den slutliga frågeställningen handlar om vilka likheter och skillnader som finns i dessa valda fall. Metoden för uppsatsen har till största delen utgjorts av studier av kommunala dokument; översiktsplaner, samrådshandlingar, dokumentationer etc.

En tät och funktionsblandad stad med ett rikt folkliv ses många gånger som dagens stadsbyggnads-ideal. Genom förtätning kan stadens kollektiva lösningar utnyttjas effektivare men samtidigt så belastas de mer. En av dessa kollektiva resurser är det offentliga grönområdet och grönskan är viktig för människan och staden. Denna uppsats behandlar konflikten som uppstår när staden blir tätare och grönområdet riskerar att påverkas av den växande staden. Studiens resultat består av två delar.

Uppsatsen syftar till att analysera organisatoriska konsekvenser som skapas genom "Resource Management". Detta arbetssätt ("Resource Management") innebär kortfattat att varje medarbetare har två chefer; en resurschef som ansvarar för individuell kompetensutveckling och resursallokering och en arbetschef vilken ansvarar för produktionen inom projekt och service.Vi har använt oss av ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt bestående av sammanlagt tio intervjuer med resurschefer, medarbetare och förändringsledare, samt dokumentstudier för att uppnå studiens syfte.Vi tycker oss ha funnit att det inte existerar en optimal växelverkan mellan organisationens produktionslogik och utvecklingslogik, vilket påverkar möjligheterna till utveckling i arbetet. Vidare kan "Resource Management" betraktas som positivt och "lyxigt". Å andra sidan kan en organisatoriskt inbyggd konflikt ha negativ inverkan på utvecklingsmöjligheterna. Sammantaget konstaterar vi att organisationen har genomfört en generös och djärv satsning i syfte att öka utvecklingen i arbetet men ställer oss samtidigt frågande till hur pass genomförbart detta är i realiteten, då tillräckligt utrymme för reflektion inte tycks ges.

Förslaget syftar till att utveckla och förbättra området omkring Bergåsa centrum, ett lokalt stadsdelscentrum i Karlskrona, samt parkområdet Monsunen . Detta ligger i linje med de intentioner som kommunen redovisar i sin översiktsplan (2002) där man redovisar avsikter att rusta upp lokala centrumområden i kommunen. Bergåsa centrums funktion som lokalt stadsdelscentrum ska stärkas och göras mer tydlig, parken skall förnyas i syfte att förbättra dess funktion och användning. Förslaget avser samtidigt att hitta en bättre lösning för trafiksituationen i området vilket omfattar korsningen Sunnavägen/ Valhallavägen, järnvägsövergången samt trafikmiljön i övrigt. Tillsammans ska dessa åtgärder ge Bergåsa centrum en viktigare roll som stadsdelscentrum med större attraktivitet och med förbättrade kvalitéer i många avseenden.

The aim of this study was to find out how journalism students at two universities in Sweden, Gothenburg University and Linnaeus University in Kalmar, use the social networking service Twitter. We were primarily interested in whether the students are using Twitter as a journalistic tool, which includes gathering, production and distribution of material. The study focused on journalism students because they soon will enter the working life and therefore can provide an indication of whether Twitter is a part of the future of journalism. We have used theories of mass communication to describe the development in the area and explore how journalism has adapted to this change. The study was conducted in the form of a survey in which the students answered questions about how they use Twitter and what they think about the social networking service.
