The main purpose of the study is to investigate Sweden's four large banks, concerningrisk and return, to see if there are any differences between them. The paper will alsoinvestigate the following sub sections: are there any differences in how the banks havesucceeded in managing geographically targeted funds and if there are any differencesin how funds are performing according to the fund size.The study is based on a quantitative method and has a deductive approach. Theselection consists of all of the four banks Swedish and Nordic funds (according tomorningstar.se 's categories "Sverige" and "Norden"). The study is based on secondarydata gathered from sources such as Morningstar, Affärsvärlden, Dagens Industri andthe Swedish National Banks websites.Swedbank Robur has performed the highest results in the case of Swedish funds.Handelsbanken has performed the highest results in the case of Nordic funds and thetotal of all funds that are in the study. Based on the results of the study it was possibleto distinguish a link between fund size and the annual return. .

Our modern society is in many ways built with and dependent on fossil fuels, which are used for energy production as well as for transporting humans and goods. Without the oil, many of the things we take for granted would not be possible. During the last century, the use of oil has increased steadily and will probably keep increasing as the world population and the economic well-being for many people increase. Since the oil is a finite resource, we will have to find other fuels that can replace it if we want to keep the same rate of development in the future as the availability of petrol fuels will decrease with rising prices as a result. Furthermore, fossil fuels have the disadvantage that they produce harmful emissions when combusted and thus affect the climate and air quality locally and globally.

This report is a part of a diploma work, conducted as a part of a Master of Science degree. The diploma work consists of a preliminary study, two case studies, a user study, a paper and this report. There have previously been very few studies of forests on Seram Island in the Eastern Indonesian archipelago and none before on lowland limestone primary forests. The COLUPSIA project on collaborative land use planning has therefore chosen Seram as one of two project sites. The objective of the COLUPSIA project is to establish collaborative and equitable land use planning. In order to achieve its objective the COLUPSIA project aims to improve understanding of traditional resource management and how it interacts with governmental systems, as well as enhancing knowledge about tropical landscapes and ecosystem services.The aim of this study was to contribute to the COLUPSIA project through describing lowland limestone forest on Seram Island in respect to (1) forest structure, (2) tree species richness and (3) tree species composition. We set up 5 plots, each of 0.2 ha, at one site, Mawalai, and collected data on tree variables (tree diameter ?10 cm) as well as for some other life forms and environmental data.

With this paper the aim is to find out whether there are any differences in how five students from the north part of Africa structures their tales in comparison with the Nordic tale "The emperor?s new clothes". The purpose is to look at how the genre pedagogy can be said to relate to these differences. What happens to the "deviant" structures?Based on literature and research on the subject, I have concluded that there are certain patterns of how a tale "should" be structured based on Western standards.

It inspired us to fulfill this study. The aim of the study is to describe and analyze what knowledge family therapists in two Swedish municipalities use in family therapy work.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems har utvecklats till att bli en av de mest attraktiva lösningar för informationshantering på företag. För att kunna nå de fördelar som systemet erbjuder är det viktigt att implementeringen sker med framgång. Forskning som behandlar ERP-implementering gör ofta detta genom att undersöka kritiska faktorer för framgång. Vid en litteraturgenomgång identifierades 20 kritiska faktorer vilka sedan utmynnades till fem. Dessa fem undersöktes sedan genom två fallstudier på det biomedicinska företaget Q-Med i Uppsala.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på högskoleingenjörsprogrammet för Byggteknik och Design vid Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan i samarbete med Svensk Bygglogistik AB. Arbetet diskuterar betydelsen av byggnadslogistik i ett infrastrukturprojekt för att uppnå en högre utnyttjandegrad för grävmaskiner med stöd av logistiksamordningsverktyg.Sammanlagt har 2150 mätningar utförts under två veckors tid för att kartlägga utnyttjandegraden för en bandgrävare (EC250CL) och en hjulgrävare (Atlas 1505M) på ett referensprojekt i Stockholmsregionen. Resultatet har sammanställts separat för de olika resurserna genom att redovisa och analysera andelen outnyttjad tid och de bakomliggande orsakerna till den outnyttjade tiden.Resultatet visar att utnyttjandegraden för bandgrävaren är 53 % och 59 % för hjulgrävaren vilket tyder på att ett förbättringsutrymme finns.Avslutningsvis diskuteras rekommendationer för hur användning av logistiksamordningsverktyg kan utökas inom anläggningssidan..

The aim of this essay is to study how older art can be used to illustrate our contemporary society with a critical view and also to contribute to the discussion of for what reason we keep our public collections.My essay is based on a case study of the 2008 summer exhibition ?Queer: desire, power and identity? at Nationalmuseum. The exhibition used art from different eras to show how the ideals, norms of gender, and how the symbols for power have changed throughout history. It also reveals how certain art or artists have been excluded from art history due to their sexual orientation.This study is based on three questions:-          How can older art be used to illustrate a to our society contemporary theme?-          How can a public museum make an exhibition with a clear and active message?-          How can a clear and potentially sensitive message be shown without risking to be provocative towards either the visitors or the person(s) it is about.My material is based on the exhibition, the work material from the museum, protocols, photographs, exhibition texts, and interviews with the creators of the exhibition.

There are many elderly buildings, particularly those constructed during the million program, in need of renovations and plumbing replacement. An alternative to the traditional plumbing replacement is the relatively new and untested technique called relining. The purpose of the study is to thoroughly investigate the different types of relining that are currently available on the market to help enhance Peab?s knowledge before purchasing relining services. The theoretical part of this report is based on relevant information provided from companies, previous studies, investigations and reports within the area.

Syftet med undersökningen var att förstå HR:s roll i organisationen samt relatera rollen till personalledningsidealet Human Resource Management, HRM. Vidare syftade studien till att utreda vilka utvecklingsmöjligheter som kan ses för organisationens chefsstöd.Uppsatsens teori är uppdelad i de tre delarna utmärkande drag för HRM, HR:s roller samt relationen mellan HR och chefer. HRM utmärks av ett fokus på affärsmässigt och strategiskt HR-arbete, vilket ses som värdeskapande processer i organisationen. Vidare utmärks HRM av ett postbyråkratiskt ideal, vilket innebär att marknadslogik förs in i organisationen.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe the work process and the results of our work with developing a web based auction system for students at Linköpings University. The present options open for students to sell objects within the University is limited to a billboard that doesn?t support bidding. Because of that a system was developed to offer an environment where they could present there objects and let demand set the final price level. A new function in this process is the option of alternate ways to end an auction with the intention of eliminating some of the problems that exists within the currently available web based auction systems with last second biding..

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how contemporary Swedish picture-books describe ethnicity. The analysis is based upon eight books that were published during the period 1996 to 2006. The thesis is based upon a qualitative content analysis and a model of analysis that has been constructed with inspiration from Maria Nikolajeva and Pil Dahlerup and their conceptions of analyzing literature. The study?s theoretical framework is primarily based on the sociology of literature and the perspective of the society in literature.
